Really great video and good opportunity for planning better our photography. Always reverencing who plays the main role - Nature and Wild Life. Thanks and Congrats! Love to see that you keep using DSLRs without running to every new gear being sold! I do the same.
Hi Paul, Thanks for the tips pal. My tip - Get up early and at your chosen location before dawn, so as to be ready for sunrise and dramatic images....... I haven't had any time recently (due to other commitments) and its driving me mad not be able to get out during daylight hours to photograph!! Hopefully March will be better for me (fingers crossed) Great image of the Kingfisher at 8.27 and the male Mallard at 10.30.
Good tips. I need to remember to get pictures of the lighter colored birds first. Due to my work schedule I do my wildlife photography in the morning. I was surprised to see a Mandarin duck in your video, I was also surprised to find we have one near me that I have gotten pictures of. Living in the PNW near Seattle Washington, there shouldn't be any wild Mandarin ducks here.
Another great video Paul really giving us food for thought, some really good information as to what to do on different conditions! Terrific photos as well 👌love theese information videos 👍keep them coming 👏👏ps what's best time of day for Jay's?
Cheers Paul. Jays I don't think are any different to most birds. Mostly early morning for me. If you can collect some acorns you might tempt them closer.
Hello sir, I have a question for you, I recently acquired a 500mm f4 mki, together with r5 it’s a very good and affordable for me, the question is , this lens vr is always active regarles if I’m half press AF-on or not, I can hear while walking the vr sounds in the lens, camera settings continuous tracking is off, do this happens with yours?
@@PaulMiguelPhotography but what I meant is, while I’m walking I can hear the vr on the lens working and what I’m afraid is that is draining the battery
@@elwelkin I guess it's something in the R5 settings - or perhaps some compatibility with older lenses and the new mirrorless camera. Yes you are right, it will use more battery. I am really not sure. Hope someone else can help out here.
Thanks Paul, you give very useful tips.
Lots of good advice so thank you Paul.
I like it why, these information and great tips Paul. Thank you, 👍👏
Great video I’m a bit of a fair weather goer but after seeing your kingfisher in the rain I may head out myself 👍
It's worth experiencing. You might find you enjoy it!
@@PaulMiguelPhotography just always been cautious shooting in the rain I have a rain hood for it just in case lol
Above par density of useful information, even for your channel.
That's very kind indeed.
Love this kind of video
Good stuff! As I hear your video, I watch you actually doing what your describing. Excellent!
I try wherever possible. Thank you.
Great tips for a noob like me, thanks Paul!
Bad weather for research that’s a great tip 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great tip. I hope you really enjoy this Spring mate. I feel like I've got very little done this winter!

That's good of you. Thanks Christian.
Good that you are back to health. Another great video.
Hi Paul have you ever photographed at Wollaton Park in Nottingham. If so I think I met you a few years back and there was a Jay right in the open
I don't think so. Think I visited there once.?
@@PaulMiguelPhotography You must have a double lol

Interesting. No, I have not heard of that. You might not be able to stop it unless you physically switch off on the lens.
@@PaulMiguelPhotography yes if I switch the vr on lens off it stop but also it turn off in camera ibis

@@PaulMiguelPhotography thanks for answering 👍
Is that park ALWAYS flooded Paul!!!!
Be ready to adapt when you get somewhere. Nature doesn't follow a script.
LOL. That's Letchmire. It has a tendency to flood. But then it has a tendency to be a dust bowl. Go figure..
