Monroe Alise is a tireless advocate for her community in the nation's capital. From working with unhoused youth to helping the trans and gender nonconforming community with job readiness, she has been helping LGBTQ+ folks in the city survive and thrive for decades.
Monroe is an alumni of the Transgender Justice Institute's Elevate fellowship.
The HRC Foundation creates impact through programs and initiatives, working with individuals and organizations to make transformational change in the everyday lives of LGBTQ+ people.
