The first 16 weeks of life are crucial to the psychological development of puppies and the experiences they receive during that time sets them up for success in life.
A puppy who is properly reared in their early weeks has the best chance of growing up to be confident, calm, and a good family dog. Puppies that have limited experiences outside their home are more fearful and anxious and may mature into fearful, anxious adult dogs with a higher likelihood of behavioral disorders.
