Funny thing is, most of the BnB combos in KOF 13 are generally easier than the trials. The trials just add in all kinds of unnecessary links, weird routes, or harder starters just to make the combo more difficult. Not to say that there aren't hard combos that get regularly used, but the execution required isn't as insurmountable as people keep saying. In general I'd say KOF13 combos were overall easier than the kind of stuff you'd find in a contemporary game like SF4.
Respect to KP for calling his main game small brain. I thought MKX was already small brain (still fun though) but MK11 is completly braindead. This game shuts down creativity entirely.

I wanna correct what Punk said about Tekken not removing moves from characters. It does indeed happen. In some cases, it is a bit of a shame that Namco does this. Neutral is important in SF because you spend more time in neutral compared to faster games. Neutral is important in anime games and team games like BBCF and Marvel because being put in disadvantage once could cost you the game. I believe the common phrasing is "don't get hit."
