I did a little testing on the rocks' impact damage vs purples impact (not slam) damage, and it seems like purples get way higher impact damage. I used larger enemies like the jumbo bulborb that purples wouldn't have enough height to slam on, and found that purples seem to get their massive slam damage even when they don't go through the animation. I may need to try other enemies, though. Rocks still get way more damage on charge and oatchi rush attacks though. I love rock pikmin, but their one niche seems to be well overshadowed by purples. :(
Interesting, the scope of my DPS testing was mainly attempts to defeat the boss/enemy as quick as possible which resulted in throwing rapidly and oatchi's rush combined with Pikmin. Didn't focus too much on purple's impact damage which appeared to be present but I wasn't certain so I decided to focus on general dps to be safer. And yeah, unfortunately rock pikmin are pretty overshadowed this game.
from what ive tested rock pikmin take out most enemies the absolute fastest out of all pikmin with oatchi rush, for bosses purples are best but honestly about the same as just regular old reds, reds are also better against spider bosses for obvious reasons
Purple pikmin are like the heavy barbarians ya bring them for stuff the fire fighting fighters and the cannonballs can’t do such as bubbles and wind and of course being the horses of the game
Wingeds are a hard d They provide absolutely nothing due to a lack of unique pathing and also all of their hazards getting removed Also they are super slow They are what happened to purples in 3
Exactly, Wings and Whites compete for the same niche. Whites do it by being fast but take the route reds would. Wings do it by being slow but taking shortcuts. This makes them dependent on the quality of the shortcuts. (Pikmin 3 gave them much better shortcuts than Pikmin 4 gave them) And when it comes to secondary traits, whites deal with poison amd are poisonous, wings go over water and have lower attack damage. This makes white's secondary traits strictly better than wing's. We can also get insight into how strong the devs consider the types based on how their onions are treated, and the White onion whipe technically available first is way harder to get and way easier to miss if you don't know where it is. (It was my second to last onion on my first run which was blind)
If you have the upgrade that makes the player and Oatchi invincible against poison, it kinda makes the white pikmin useless besides from a few enemy's cause to get rid of the toxic mold, you can just rush it with Oatchi to destroy them.
White Pikmin I feel are super underrated in their ability to transport items, from some testing their generally faster than wings, and ultra spicy spray makes them ridiculously fast
@@kylehallman8183 I can understand wanting their poison to have been better in Pikmin 2 (since back then White Pikmin were hard to get so it felt more like a consolation for losing them than a thing you were intended to do) but in Pikmin 4 it's already pretty ridiculously powerful, even if your entire battle strategy is just to stand there and let the enemies eat your White Pikmin you're pretty much always at least breaking even on numbers for when you take those enemies back to the onion, in fact normally you'll gain a fair few (1 White for Dwarf Bulborb which gives 3. 2 Whites for Red Bulborn which gives 10. 3 Whites for Bulbear which gives 15. 5 Whites for Jumbo Bulborn which gives 15. 8 Whites for Emperor Bulblax or a Burrowing Snagret which both give 20. 15 Whites for Sovereign Bulblax which gives 50 seeds) while it can't be taken back to the Onion even the final boss is pretty vulnerable, 20 White Pikmin take out a phase so 80 are needed for its first 4 phases (the final phase doesn't eat Pikmin), if you're just standing there and letting the boss eat your Pikmin I'd say that taking out 4 of the final boss's phases in exchange for only 80 Pikmin is more than reasonable. I do feel like White Pikmin should have more abilities though. compared to Purple, Rock, Wing, and Ice Pikmin they just feel underwhelming, especially since Yellow Pikmin took their spot as the best diggers, White Pikmin even seem to have lost their special abililty to detect burried objects that no other types could find. perhaps a new ability could have something to do with the acid spit that a White Pikmin was shown doing in the Occupational Hazards short that Nintendo released around the time of Pikmin 3. or a few sources have outright stated that they're venomous as well as poisonous, perhaps some kind of venom damage over time effect also in their intro in Pikmin 2 they were shown breathing out poisonous gas, that never seemed to ever be brought up again
I didnt use Ice Pikmin much at all, cause I like to make as many Slav- I mean Pikmin as possible and cause the enemys dont respawn I wanted to get as much out of them as possible
pellets respawn if you want to farm so this doesn't seem like as big a problem, especially with them just matching your available types with onions fused in.
While in the cavern for a king, I had trouble with the Empress Bulblax, but then I remembered that Rock Pikmin are Immune to Crushing, so I just got an army of Rock Pikmin, and I won easily.
He remembers He memtions it and its the main reason their better than yellows and blues Purples and rocks still outclass them tho for damage Rocks have 2.0 impact damage Purple also have 1.5 but have some extra damage from pound as well
Personally, I love White Pikmin. I'm playing Pikmin 2 Kaizo right now, and they are making traversing through some areas SO much easier due to how quick they are
Are you sure purples are at 2x attack? I've seen vids that claim they only have 1.5x, like reds. They calculate it by counting the number of hits it takes to kill specific enemies.
From all the testing I did (battled every boss with Reds, Purples, and Rocks) Purple Pikmin were the only type that could 1 phase the Sovereign Bulblax (with a spicy spray). Additionally, when not using spicy sprays they would out-damage reds every single time. Again I tested every boss and this was the case every time. From everything I can tell the have 2x damage, or at the very least have a higher DPS than Red Pikmin by a significant margin.
@@Invizeron Also for some reason spicy spray reduces the damage of reds and purples back to 1x instead of 1.5x but I don’t know how this affects the dps since they attack faster
I have the answer (I think). The website says purples deal 1.5x damage like reds, but one of the tips in game says that they deal extra damage with a direct hit (when it lands on top of an enemy). It seems like purples have the same DPS as reds when latching onto an enemy, but its stomp deals more damage than any other type, still making purples the most powerful in combat
@@papaG6423 Purple pikmin do have an attack power of 15 (same as reds). The slam damage from purple pikmin is 100 and they can also deal this damage when directly thrown onto an enemy, unlike in Pikmin 2.
White pikmin and winged pikmin should be switched. Not only is white pikmin faster, but the winged pikmin pathing is horrendus and white pikmin beats it.
i havent played pikman 4 but i felt like wing pikman were always my favorite for battle and exploration, i know they didnt have good dmg but they were just so easy to control and use i feel like i only used other pikman when i absolutely had to
Atleast this time its a gold bar. As soon as i saw that bar i guessed it was the Doomsday Apparatus 2 and would take 100 purples to move it. (And we have a purple onion, the ability to skip to any sublevel when entering a cave, exit caves at the cave location instead of returning to base, and can pick our squad when we enter instead of needing to bring it. Basically its infinitely easier to gring up to 100 purples compared to pikmin 2.)
@@CraziestGamer-r5h thankfully we don't have to repeat the experience of running 15ish reds to the back of the Valley of repose and rushing down to the second to last floor if the subterranean complex to grow 15 purples at a time for several days to finally reach 100 just to carry the dumbbell back over the course of an entire day. Honestly the worst part about grinding them with candypop buds on the final floor of the entombed castle is the load times of jumping in and out of the hole. (Still shorter than running across and emtire map and then down 7ish subleveps per run)
Honestly i think the yellow Pikmin should be the lowest here, outside the very first area you almost never use yellows. All electric hazards can be easily broken by other types or oatchi, and high ledges basically dont exist (and if they do all you need it oatchi or some winged pikmin). They've even removed the electric wires from Pikmin 3, making their only saving grace the faster digging speed... Even though oatchi is significantly faster lmao. They even acknowledge this in one of the comic strips.
Ice pimin hands down the best all around pikmin The freeze is very strong. I will also add glow pikmin are unique in that they don't actually die. When they die they actually just teleport back to you in night missions. They are kind of in a tier of their own with oatchie.
You're just seeing your last group of Pikmin return from their objective back to you 😅 And as a cherry on top I think if they are "spirits" that they are 100% dead now cause the plant part usually has the soul of the Pikmin

Ice Pikmin are so annoying to me when I want to collect the enemy's carcass. It destroys it so you can't collect it. Especially annoying in caves when giant enemies can get you a decent amount of sparklium
10:26 ye I play by 100%ing an area (if possible) then moving to next. For the first one I had to do half of the second area to get the blue onion though cause I needed a flarlic to carry more pikmin
I thought about cheesing but wasn't worth the effort for me. Did you actually manage to defeat it without blues? or did you have to give in and use em.
would have been nice to see the bottom two tiers used rather than condensing everything at the top, the variety would have been more interesting! good rankings overall though
With that Man-At-Legs in the final cave I just used all my pikmin and rush it with oatchi and sprayed them they took it out before it even got up and I just saved the drowning ones after (i had 44 purples)
@Invizeron I didn't think so either lol, I tried with just blues but after it kept ending my deathless run (not a true one because of rewind) I just rushed it and it worked lol
Is it just me, or are white Pikmin slower when it comes to carrying items that require more than one? They can carry materials and berries super fast, but I find them carrying treasures at around the same speed as everyone else, even when flowered.
Purple pikmin are not as good as you think. They have been nerfed to deal only 1.5x damage, not 2, and spicy spray actually makes all pikmin deal 1 damage, but have increased attack speed. Purple pikmin make rock pikmin near useless because they have much more impact damage, and there are very few crystal hazards in the game for rock pikmin to deal with. Purples are still S tier, but you have some of your facts wrong.
Been getting a few comments on Purples having 1.5x and not 2x so I'll put this here: th-cam.com/video/QZ4TPeTU4dY/w-d-xo.html Its a clip from a bunch of DPS tests I did using Red and Purple Pikmin. I tested every boss in different ways and Purples came out on top every time (when they could reach it). So Either Purples Deal 2x damage or they have something else that allows them to out DPS Reds. Either way they deal more damage.
@@Invizeron also the purple pikmin impact dmg does not get applied if you charge into enemies with oatchi. Furthermore reds and Purple pikmin go from 1.5x dmg to 1x when under the effect from spicy spray for some reason while all types with 0.5x dmg go up to 1x (unless there has been a patch that changed that)
@@der_bauer3438 interesting, the time to kill was faster when using a spray, regardless of the pikmin type, so I just assumed it was a complete positive. It might've just been the increased attack speed or potentially a patch like you mentioned.
@@Invizeron The attack speed increase is really noticeable. I used it on a later Empress bulblax encounter with ice pikmin and it went from a like 40% full freeze bar to being able to freeze her with only 10 Ice pikmin. The pikmin even seem to latch on to enemies faster while it is active.
I feel like you could have utilized the tier list better. Having a completely empty c category feels a little pointless. Since there's so few Pikmin to place being harsher in their placement makes a more definitive tier list
Sadly I'd have to call winged Pikmin C tier because I'm apparently "that one player that 100% an area before moving on" I never had an instance in the overworld where I could use wings which is my biggest complaint about Pikmin 4. The type limit is way too strict for allowing utility Pikmin like whites or wings alongside the others. The 10 you are given at the start of the game almost assuredly feel like it was designed before the type limit was introduced cause 10 wings early on would be incredible otherwise.
I'd say whites and pinks should swap tbh, I found Pinks behaviour to be super lacking with them struggling to catch flying enemies even when ordered to charge, and frequently outside of very specific zones they don't even carry items any better than any other pikmin often taking the same exact path as a grounded pikmin would. There could be an argument to be made that they would have utility in the final phase of the final boss with it leaving gloom hazards that instantly kill any pikmin that touch them and they are exclusively a ground hazard, but this is honestly easily circumvented by just having your pikmin ride oatchi. Meanwhile whites, while not great fighters really help to deliver items and quickly accomplish tasks like building bridges. Glowpikmin i think are the spirtual (pun intended) successor to Bulbmin, they make a good filler to your party in caves especially if you took losses and can be converted to other types before you leave to give them a new lease on life.
You say pink pikmin aren't that great against flying enemies, but a swarm of pink pikmin can defeat any of the beady long leg bosses far faster than any other pikmin type in the game. Every other pikmin takes 5+ seconds if you chuck them or charge at the legs, and as you showed glow pikmin split between attacking directly and climbing the legs. Pinks directly swarm the center and take them down in about a second.
I agree but blue pikmin are c tier because one the only map they are used a lot in is the something shores but ice pikmin and oatchi exist making them almost useless
yeah, C tier do be empty. I was gonna put white there but felt bad. The balancing in this game was pretty good though, so I think an argument could be made that none deserved the C tier.
You mentioned how bulbmin arent in the game, but they kind of are. Glow pikmin are immune to all hindrances and cant be taken out of the caves. Glow pikmin are essentially the same exact concept as bulbmin (i do prefer the idea of what bulbmin are, but you cant win em all)
I cant personally agree with much of this list. Rocks and wings were both hard nerfed from 3, and had their usage heavily limited. Rock impact damage is much lower, and their crush resistance isnt guarunteed. And wing pathing is much worse, with their ability to 'shotgun' by swarming being absolutely gone.
I think that Rock Pikmin deserve to be put into low S. If your party is full of Rock Pikmin and you hit almost any boss with an Oatchi Charge, they die immediately. They are by far the best Pikmin to use with an Oatchi Charge, even better then the Purples.
Based on what you were saying I’m shocked you didn’t but winged in c or at least low B. Seems like they are generally the worst in this game or maybe tied with whites.

I'd say Rocks niche is anti crush and pierce compared to throwing which more like purps cause the stun they have
Purple pikmin are like the heavy barbarians ya bring them for stuff the fire fighting fighters and the cannonballs can’t do such as bubbles and wind and of course being the horses of the game
purple pikmin dont actually have a 2x damage multiplier, they have a 1.5x damage multiplier which is the same as red pikmin.
Wingeds are a hard d
They provide absolutely nothing due to a lack of unique pathing and also all of their hazards getting removed
Also they are super slow
They are what happened to purples in 3
Exactly, Wings and Whites compete for the same niche.
Whites do it by being fast but take the route reds would.
Wings do it by being slow but taking shortcuts. This makes them dependent on the quality of the shortcuts. (Pikmin 3 gave them much better shortcuts than Pikmin 4 gave them)
And when it comes to secondary traits, whites deal with poison amd are poisonous, wings go over water and have lower attack damage.
@@Kosecant Theyll possibly be really useful for speed runners. But I wish their poisonous ability did more damage if they were ingested.
@@Kosecantdepends on the stage
Wings flying over pits and sometimes enemies flat out being unable to reach them makes for easier dandori
@@kylehallman8183 I can understand wanting their poison to have been better in Pikmin 2 (since back then White Pikmin were hard to get so it felt more like a consolation for losing them than a thing you were intended to do) but in Pikmin 4 it's already pretty ridiculously powerful, even if your entire battle strategy is just to stand there and let the enemies eat your White Pikmin you're pretty much always at least breaking even on numbers for when you take those enemies back to the onion, in fact normally you'll gain a fair few (1 White for Dwarf Bulborb which gives 3. 2 Whites for Red Bulborn which gives 10. 3 Whites for Bulbear which gives 15. 5 Whites for Jumbo Bulborn which gives 15. 8 Whites for Emperor Bulblax or a Burrowing Snagret which both give 20. 15 Whites for Sovereign Bulblax which gives 50 seeds)
while it can't be taken back to the Onion even the final boss is pretty vulnerable, 20 White Pikmin take out a phase so 80 are needed for its first 4 phases (the final phase doesn't eat Pikmin), if you're just standing there and letting the boss eat your Pikmin I'd say that taking out 4 of the final boss's phases in exchange for only 80 Pikmin is more than reasonable.
I do feel like White Pikmin should have more abilities though. compared to Purple, Rock, Wing, and Ice Pikmin they just feel underwhelming, especially since Yellow Pikmin took their spot as the best diggers, White Pikmin even seem to have lost their special abililty to detect burried objects that no other types could find.
perhaps a new ability could have something to do with the acid spit that a White Pikmin was shown doing in the Occupational Hazards short that Nintendo released around the time of Pikmin 3.
or a few sources have outright stated that they're venomous as well as poisonous, perhaps some kind of venom damage over time effect
also in their intro in Pikmin 2 they were shown breathing out poisonous gas, that never seemed to ever be brought up again
I can’t be the only one who thinks the winged pikmins pathing is so strange in this game ? I can’t be the only one
Yeah they usually don’t go over pits in caves and just worse blues
They straight up choose the worst paths
Purples kind of do have an elemental immunity, being wind and bubble attacks.
While in the cavern for a king, I had trouble with the Empress Bulblax, but then I remembered that Rock Pikmin are Immune to Crushing, so I just got an army of Rock Pikmin, and I won easily.
Dude why does no one remember the red pikmin have a 1.5 damage multiplier.
Everyone does wdym
He remembers
He memtions it and its the main reason their better than yellows and blues
Purples and rocks still outclass them tho for damage
Rocks have 2.0 impact damage
Purple also have 1.5 but have some extra damage from pound as well
I really dont like using rock pikmin very much since they dont stick on enemies. For combat my favorite is purple, then red, then rock
@@radiantberserker8857 rocks are worse for combat for soem enemies since they can’t stick.
Warning to every guy who did not finish the game, a spoiler jumpscare is right here : 2:49
Personally, I love White Pikmin. I'm playing Pikmin 2 Kaizo right now, and they are making traversing through some areas SO much easier due to how quick they are
also Ice pikmin can frozen the bubbles making it faster while The others tend to float up A little longer
4:19 I didn’t even use blue pikmin in the final cave for that fight since I had replaced them all with other pikmin and had enough glow pikmin
I wish thought of using Ice Pikmin rush to instantly freeze water before I completed 90% of the game lol
I used 100 purple to demolish the final boss
I feel like giving blue pikmin a slight damage multiplyer like 1.2 times
Was thinking the same thing they are so weak
glow pikmin are basically pikmin 4's bulbmin
me and the pals have this ongoing joke of calling the purple pikmin
"Big Soda"
@@InvizeronI think the damage difference is from the trow damage they deal. Kind of like rock pikmin but I could be wrong
Not only is white pikmin faster, but the winged pikmin pathing is horrendus and white pikmin beats it.
i havent played pikman 4 but i felt like wing pikman were always my favorite for battle and exploration, i know they didnt have good dmg but they were just so easy to control and use i feel like i only used other pikman when i absolutely had to
Mother of god WE HAVE A SEQUAL TO THE DOOMSDAY APPARATUS
Atleast this time its a gold bar. As soon as i saw that bar i guessed it was the Doomsday Apparatus 2 and would take 100 purples to move it.
(And we have a purple onion, the ability to skip to any sublevel when entering a cave, exit caves at the cave location instead of returning to base, and can pick our squad when we enter instead of needing to bring it. Basically its infinitely easier to gring up to 100 purples compared to pikmin 2.)
@@jasonreed7522 ok thank god
@@CraziestGamer-r5h thankfully we don't have to repeat the experience of running 15ish reds to the back of the Valley of repose and rushing down to the second to last floor if the subterranean complex to grow 15 purples at a time for several days to finally reach 100 just to carry the dumbbell back over the course of an entire day.
Honestly the worst part about grinding them with candypop buds on the final floor of the entombed castle is the load times of jumping in and out of the hole. (Still shorter than running across and emtire map and then down 7ish subleveps per run)
Purple pikmin have 1.5 where did you find that data
Blue pikmin have no gimmicks, they're just plain required. Theyre only good at carrying objects through water.
I think white pikmin should be A. Fastest for piles, and kills whatever eats it. I didn’t play pikmin 2 so discovering that my jaw hit the floor
No they don’t. If the glow Pikmin get eaten, crushed etc. they die and don’t come back. You can tell with the pikmin counter going down
You're just seeing your last group of Pikmin return from their objective back to you 😅 And as a cherry on top I think if they are "spirits" that they are 100% dead now cause the plant part usually has the soul of the Pikmin
@@TheReZisTLust it could have been some died the same time i had more spawn in since it didn't notice the number go down.
@@anacreon212when glow pikmins die, they actually don’t show up on the counter (mentioned in one of the tip loading screen). But yea they do actually die unfortunately
To help with auto-locking while using the purples’ aoe, spamming ZR works wonders. Easily made it past that one sage leaflets trial with this technique
Glow pikmin are like escanor from 7 deadly sins: unstoppable half the time, unusable the rest.
Honestly glow Pikmin are more like A tier for me.
Thanks goodness the most fair tier list of pikmin
Glad you have glow S. I brought 100 glow Pikmin into the last level and obliterated it in minutes. They're hilariously overpowered and I love it.
Did the Glow Pikmin work against the Waterwraiths??
POV: your a pikmin chilling and olimar rips you out of the ground and throws you with the force of a baseball player right into a bulborbs mouth
For the water fight with the man at war I refused to use blue pikmin and did all I could to just cheese that fight.
I thought about cheesing but wasn't worth the effort for me. Did you actually manage to defeat it without blues? or did you have to give in and use em.
@@Invizeron I totally cheesed it.
would have been nice to see the bottom two tiers used rather than condensing everything at the top, the variety would have been more interesting! good rankings overall though
With that Man-At-Legs in the final cave I just used all my pikmin and rush it with oatchi and sprayed them they took it out before it even got up and I just saved the drowning ones after (i had 44 purples)
Interesting, didn't think you could do that. It makes sense, I was just afraid of them drowning so I used blues.
@Invizeron I didn't think so either lol, I tried with just blues but after it kept ending my deathless run (not a true one because of rewind) I just rushed it and it worked lol
@@Invizeron sorry it untags for some reason
@@blazephoenix5849 No worries about TH-cam un-mentioning . My deathless was the same too (with rewind).
I would put yellows in F, i only used them a couple times for high up things, and i just charged a couple times with oatchi for electric walls.
No bulbmin? (I don't care that it's only pikmin 4) if I had to place them, they would be under glow pikmin.
Is it just me, or are white Pikmin slower when it comes to carrying items that require more than one? They can carry materials and berries super fast, but I find them carrying treasures at around the same speed as everyone else, even when flowered.
ice pikmin are the best ones against the bubbel hazard cause the bubbels with ice pikmin inside pop after a second
I can agree that oatchi is the best pikmin
Once during a night mission, he just kinda beat up a smoky progg without any help
U forgot to say that ice pikmin are also best at dealing with the bubble geysers
I never had the thought to use glow Pikmin in caves.
Not even in the final cave?
Winged pikmin actually take down flying enemies faster than others. Glow are S tier, but they don't weight/lift 10, freeze, or fly.
4:00 *engulfed castle music starts*
Ice Pikmin are great if you want to deal with an enemy fast but if they are defeated while frozen, you loss out on getting more Pikmin.
Been getting a few comments on Purples having 1.5x and not 2x so I'll put this here:
th-cam.com/video/QZ4TPeTU4dY/w-d-xo.html
Its a clip from a bunch of DPS tests I did using Red and Purple Pikmin. I tested every boss in different ways and Purples came out on top every time (when they could reach it). So Either Purples Deal 2x damage or they have something else that allows them to out DPS Reds. Either way they deal more damage.
Purples deal a ton of initial damage when thrown, but they still deal the same amount of damage as red once they latch onto enemies
@@kingv-man8149 Ok thanks, this makes sense I wasn't sure if they had impact damage so I leaned towards 2x. Thanks for the clarification.
@@Invizeron also the purple pikmin impact dmg does not get applied if you charge into enemies with oatchi.
Furthermore reds and Purple pikmin go from 1.5x dmg to 1x when under the effect from spicy spray for some reason while all types with 0.5x dmg go up to 1x
(unless there has been a patch that changed that)
@@der_bauer3438 interesting, the time to kill was faster when using a spray, regardless of the pikmin type, so I just assumed it was a complete positive.
The pikmin even seem to latch on to enemies faster while it is active.
purples, with their 10 carry weight are the gods of multitasking
Glow Pikmin have the same attack strength as Yellows and Blues
Oatchi deserves his own tier, if I was scared of an enemy I'd send oatchi and he would solo everything
I feel like you could have utilized the tier list better. Having a completely empty c category feels a little pointless. Since there's so few Pikmin to place being harsher in their placement makes a more definitive tier list
Functionally, glow Pikmin are like bulbmin that you can take out of caves
Sadly I'd have to call winged Pikmin C tier because I'm apparently "that one player that 100% an area before moving on"
I never had an instance in the overworld where I could use wings which is my biggest complaint about Pikmin 4. The type limit is way too strict for allowing utility Pikmin like whites or wings alongside the others. The 10 you are given at the start of the game almost assuredly feel like it was designed before the type limit was introduced cause 10 wings early on would be incredible otherwise.
The shroom pikmin (the ones that came from one enemy in the third area in pikmin 1) are definitely F tier
I think Ice being in a over s is also good because you break the enemy and can’t bring it back to the onion to make more pikmin
I agree but blue pikmin are c tier because one the only map they are used a lot in is the something shores but ice pikmin and oatchi exist making them almost useless
bro spoiled the final boss :D (take this as a joke I don't care all that much)
Purple pikmin are immune to being blown away and sucked up by creatures
Was winged pikmin the best before so they nerfed them this badly?
They never Nerfed them they just have more competition
Ice Pikman also have a weakness to getting sprayed with water droplets.
Honestly I wouldn't put oatchi on s tier instead I would put him on ssgss tier
Aka super Saiyan god super Saiyan tier
Also the c tier in this video practically doesn't exist since no pikmin has been put on c tier
yeah, C tier do be empty. I was gonna put white there but felt bad. The balancing in this game was pretty good though, so I think an argument could be made that none deserved the C tier.
Hey for late game try around 80 rock 20 ice, makes an almost unstoppable Oatchi battering ram, if rocks don’t 1hit ice let’s them double tap
Winged pikmin are best for carrying back items and are the same as they were in pikmin 3 because they are perfectly balanced
What tier is olimin at?
Olimar is an important part of the series. Just outta respect you've gotta throw him into the S+ tier.
To think the only thing to beat a Purple Pikmin is the pooch
Yup, no other pikmin could do it, so I guess it had to be something else.
I was worried for a moment there I was going to have to do something heinous if you slandered my Winged friends…
You forgot to mention that white Pikmin are faster than all other Pikmin
I think that Rock Pikmin deserve to be put into low S. If your party is full of Rock Pikmin and you hit almost any boss with an Oatchi Charge, they die immediately. They are by far the best Pikmin to use with an Oatchi Charge, even better then the Purples.
i really wanted whites not to be that bad,
speed is good but why 0,5 damage multiplier
could have at least have a qucker attack as well.
Based on what you were saying I’m shocked you didn’t but winged in c or at least low B. Seems like they are generally the worst in this game or maybe tied with whites.
I think blues should attack faster because they have mouths and biting is faster than headbutting
I feel like whites were done dirty. Having a pikmin type that can speed up most processes in the game is so useful, especially for dandori challenges.
The ice ones will also refused to carry objects across water
White pikmin arent the most useles AT ALL
In Pikmin 3 I'd say the Winged Pikmin are the dumbest cause they just fly straight into cobwebs.
My list (ordered within tiers)
S++ Oatchi (to me it was annoying just how strong he was)
S Glow, Ice
A Purple, Blue
B Red, Rock, White
C Yellow, Winged.
