Using the Roland VS2400 Part 1

Since there aren't too many tutorials on this machine, but I know so many fellow TH-camrs who own and love it; I thought I'd make a series of tutorials on how to get some of the best out of it.
Please let me know if it helps you out and, of course, leave your particular questions below and I'll try to address those.

This thang is powerful!!!
I have yet to learn it..
I wanted to learn a way to connect it to my PC, but I actually brought it to get away from relying on computers for my recordings..
Would be nice to sync it through fire wire tho, to use the PC software(reason, pro tools instruments, etc.) as an added on tone generator..

I have this beautiful machine but haven't been able to use it for years because the auto faders go crazy all the time. Here in the UK they tell me it cannot be serviced because it contains materials banned by the European Union!
Has anyone here come across the wayward faders problem and if so do you know a remedy?

I've gone through 3 Roland VS2480's. I was wondering if you knew if projects from the VS2480'd can be loaded on the 2400's. I'm considering purchasing one of these machines if it can accomplish that function. Thank you and great video.

I wish I could call you and ask you some technical questions! I love my machine but there are plenty of things I don't know how to do. And the technical manual is difficult to understand.

I have a VS-2400CD and was ready to ditch it in favour of Cubase, but I learned so much from your Part 1, I am going to re-power on the VS-2400CD and try out even just the few items I got from this first one. But now also dissappointed that I cannot find Part 2. :(

TECK QUESTION- ON MY VS2400 I CANT HEAR THE TRACKS I JUST RECORDED IVE PUSHED THE WRONG BUTTON OR SOMETHING. I CAN HEAR THEM IF I GO IN AND SOLO THE TRACK . CAN YOU HELP ME
