Some of these people may have been relatives of ours which means that our inheritances were lost, thereby affecting the wealth of future generations of African Americans.

That is highly possible but we can continue our foundation and make a better future for ourselves and the next generation. All we need to do is to ensure that we as a community raising the next generation is to give our children grandchildren what our ancestors experienced, what we experienced so that they have more of a basic understanding and more importantly now how to handle themselves which will allow them to be strong and don't end up in the mental institutions. We also need to give them space and allow them to grow up and develop as individual people and make them aware we are there to support them in all situations.

The same govt that black ppl tried to compromise with for civil rights. You see the predicament? Black ppl have alway strived for liberation. In those days it was physical violence. We overcame that then they came with govt policies and warfare to control our population numbers. I was fortunate enough to interview at least 5 individuals who witnessed the Tulsa Massacre at the old Moton Health Center, at 603 East Pine Street in 1971-73. They all stated that the Tulsa National Guard BOMBED them from the air and that wagon loads of bodies were taken to the banks of the Arkansas River and buried.
But that was then and this is now. North Tulsa seems to have made considerable progress, especially regarding housing. I say this because i was told that prior to 1965, banks wouldn't lend over 10K-20k for homes in North Tulsa, something which definitely depressed real estate values.

I love this documentary, but I hate to tell many of you this but it would likely CREATE as many Klansmen as your would hope to reach.
The very idea this information MIGHT inspire and motivate Blacks to begin unifying, building and working for our own betterment
would drive many racist whites into a murderous frenzy. Many whites you call "cool" or "your friends" only act that way becuz they feel "comfortable" that you
are "beneath" them in some way. called: "Staying in yo' place. Once they think you might get "Uppity" - You will be in for a surprise.

This was so inspirational, howbeit there was so much suffering behind it, but to know of this place, Little Africa, Black Wall St., having been such a prosperous place, is inspiring to me as a black person. It put some ,you can do it, in me. One thing I can say about my black race, esp, in that era, is they sure were humble people and I actually believe this is how God blessed them so. All the way up to MLK, being with nonviolence, that really is the way. An my mama was so sweet and humble, took me awhile to see that was better than fighting and destroying. I noticed that white people who knew what happened never thought to replace black wall street with any type of reparation. But the white guy said al these white people helped the black people off the land that was stolen and burned. Instead they gave us this short video. No movie. But if they did give us a movie please believe they would talk about all the gay black people and praise sinxe white person for saving the blacks that didn't die.
