Very impressive, he is actually defending his dad and is very gracious about the whole situation.....he is careful not to criticize or make anyone the "bad guy". Looks like he has come to terms with the hurt and is going on to make his life positive and fulfilling. He has a great voice and I really like this song!

he has really grown up, I met him once in maybe 84 or 85, and we talked about motorcycles for around 20 minutes, I did most of the talking, he just wanted to hear my opinions because he wanted to buy a motorcycle, i'm happy to see he is still doing music, I have always wished the best for him and his family, I can really relate with him buying the old Beatles stuff, wish he could buy the songs that MJ owned, but that would be a heap of money, anyway now I want to hear his new album / CD

that is not true I saw her in a youtube video describing yoko as 'devious' when all yoko did was be the exotic, beautiful, sarah Lawrence educated conceptual artist john fell in love with instead of a dullard john could bearly listen to. yoko Is ths one who not once ever said anything negative about Cynthia, and really I don't think Cynthia ever really factored into her reality because she was thinking about things like fighting for peace, the environment and democratizing art.

He should have been given all of these items. He should not have to buy them (this is an outrage !) Julian seems like such a genuine, talented, honest and kind human being. Wow! I think Julian's voice has gotten better and more mature as he's aged. When younger, he did sound (in my opinion) quite a bit like his dad.. which was not a BAD thing at all! But since, he's grown and matured into his own style of music!

Yes, he's made some remarks about his dad periodically (nothing that wasn't true) and also re: Yoko (well deserved and always done relatively tastefully). I am sure there is SO much he really could have said but he has taken the high road for the most part...best of luck for the album and I hope the next single is "Touch the Sky"!
He's so well spoken. Everything I've seen him in is a delight. His Mum did a great job with him and you can tell he loves her much.... God bless him. I know it's had to have been tough on him with the Yoko thing and her manipulations and basically stealing from his legacy.
John's writing had a dark edge to it..... I often listen to a lot of John's work and I have to fallow it with Jules. Why? Because John was such a broken person it comes out in his music and it gets under my skin... I love it, but it does that.... Jules, even his most melancholy work, it feels gracious... It feels like his heart ache isn't filled with venom... and there is a positive ending.. He has some warmth even with all he is going through....
You handle yourself with such grace when people always ask you about The Beatles and your dad. You are uniquely you Julian. I hope you know that. You're a great photographer, outstanding musician, beautiful man and one day you will become an amazing father! I'm glad Julian looks and sounds so balanced here. It must be a challenge for a 49 year old man to face the prospect that interviewers have always, and always will, be mainly interested in discussing a father whose now been dead for 32 years, but he consistently handles it grace. He had a rough road in some respects, but to have half of John Lennon's genes, and a fraction of his estate, is not without its benefits. Overall, I'm just glad he's healthy and sane, and likely to live a long life.
Most of us mellow as we get older, and I firmly believe if John were living today, he would be very proud of Julian, and of the way his former wife, ( Cynthia ) raised their son. I have had a world of respect for Cynthia and Julian for some time. Two amazingly grounded, and humble personalities. When the fame and fortune lose their luster, a good persons reputation remains. I don't understand the comments saying he is lip syncing here. It is quite obviously a live performance with live vocals. I have this album and he definitely isn't singing with that track. I have seen some performances with tracks from his earlier days and this is for sure live. That being said, this is a very fantastic performance and a brilliantly beautiful song. This song is so personal and honest. Julian has so much talent and I respect him so much as a musician and person. Also, for those asking, WFF is the White Feather Foundation, a beautiful charity he started helping out causes like clean water and education for people in need, among many others. (:

He's had a very strange and difficult life; that he's grown up to be a very nice and honest man is a credit to both him and his mother.
Carol Weatherhead and as I've always said - |Sean may have inherited (or at least benefited from) his father's money, but Julian inherited his talent.

I met Julian last thursday in Amsterdam where he opened his exhibit there. He is a great guy, I can tell you that. :-)
