Xiamen University was founded by a philanthropist, the late Mr Tan Kah Kee from Singapore in colonial British Malaya. It has one of the most beautiful university campus in China along with Wuhan University, Tsinghua, Sun Yat-sen U and a few others. The only overseas branch campus of her is in Malaysia.

Fujian is a very prosperous-looking province. I would love to visit Wuyishan in that province. Maybe I could see it in your incredible videos in the future.

ooooh! i remember that name ! It's were you go walk on a beach the first time, right? So they also have beach not too far :D This university is like three time bigger than my whole city XD... I m sure even some small school in big China cities could be bigger than my whole city, it's soo small compared to everything you show XD What a place :O, lots of coo stuff for activities, theses basket, football and running zone are huge compared to here. And an indoor pool included :O (We have one here, but it's like the city pool, not only university) Meanwhile it may be pain for students to walk from one side to another of this massive university... They must very tired at end of the day. I was soo happy when i finished school. Super happy to say "i will never go back to school again", i hated school XD. But i m pretty sure i would have a completly different vision of school if i learned in such university place. I can see why it's super popular place, it's peacefull, spacious and it's like a mini city. Love the tunnel. Some arts are very nicely done :O I don't know if it's a goose or a duck, but the coloration is very nice and unique :D What is that laststatue you filmed? It's a dragon-fish? or a lion-fish? Students even have electric bikes to ride from dormitory to classrooms. Even have public buses inside. ----------------- I was soo happy when i finished school. Mr Tan Kah Kee like many overseas successful Chinese in Malaysia and Singapore in the early 1900s made their money in rubber and tin. Most of them came from China with nothing more than their clothes on their back. They succeeded through sheer hard work and perseverance. But they never forget their roots.

Mr Tan Kah Kee like many overseas successful Chinese in Malaysia and Singapore in the early 1900s made their money in rubber and tin. Most of them came from China with nothing more than their clothes on their back. They succeeded through sheer hard work and perseverance. But they never forget their roots.
