I’m one that thought we should’ve kept JF1 and and go oline heavy in draft but now that we are here I say anything is possible; we just have to be patient and pray for NO injuries to are key players.
I thought the same. JF1 with a boatload of picks, including another QB down the road if needed, seemed the smart move. But that boat has sailed. CW will be just fine. Bears are just where everyone predicted they'd be at this point of the season. OL sucks but we should all have known that was the weak link.
I don’t get how you can watch 3 years of Justin fields and how frustrating it was and how he never got consistent at passing the ball ever. How many games did we see fields pass the ball good for a whole half let alone an entire game? Never, he never was good for a whole half and passed the ball consistently and if you say the game against Washington last season you are right but that’s the only game you can look back on in 3 seasons and tell me fields had a consistent good half of passing the ball in any other game for the whole first or second half? How many quick slants has he completed in 3 seasons? You can count them on one hand. How many curl routes were completed on time in those 3 season? You can count on one hand. He’s not a good quarterback and I promise you he will be a career backup after this season and he will be out the league in 3 more seasons cause he will be too proud to play another position
@@inaneglory7431that would be the move that put the bears fans over the top and a lot of them would stop watching football cause if they kept fields and there plan would be to maybe get another quarterback down the road after they build the team they would end up stuck like they were the past 100 seasons where they are too good to get the best quarterback in the draft so they end up getting mid first round picks every single season off the defense and running game and win just enough games to not be a good playoff team and too many to be crap to get a good pick. That’s the goofiest plan I’ve ever heard. If they didn’t get caleb when this the first and last chance at getting a player like him for the bears they all would have been fired and the team would have been torn down even if they had the rest of the tteam built up
We are a young rebuilding team lol yall dish out these big expectations and then call for players to be let go when the team doesnt meet these expectations, tbh these are ridiculously high expectations for a rookie QB lbs, 4,000 yards and playoffs is a ridiculous expectation for a rookie and a young team just coming together and figuring each other out lol at least give em a year and next year have those expectations. CJ Stroud and the Texans got people losing their minds, they have a better coaching staff than us and also most QBs have bad rookie seasons bro, from John Elway to Peyton Manning, Troy Aikman and Brett Favre lol everybody relax and watch the process happen how its supposed to
This why we are glad no fans are running the bears organization cause a lot of fans would have quit being fans and maybe went into a rage so bad they would try to take out soldier field so the bears couldn’t play at home cause they would be so angry when you have a chance to get the best quarterback that’s been available for years you take that opportunity especially if your quarterback that you have now is garbage which fields was he was the most frustrating quarterback to watch in my entire life cause you always thought ok this week he will put it together and be consistent and it never happened ever and he always looked uncomfortable and it was just ugly to watch the whole time

Seeing as fields inflated our rushing numbers bad calls from our HC. And our new OC not being well initiated to our players. Also William's is not the plug and play player we were promised. The little no moves on our horrible OL. And if we do get 6 wins it will be because our defense. It's easy to see DJ Moore is telling us all we need to know it's going to be a long year. If I'm wrong I'll be so fucking happy. Just for the fact im a chicago sport fan and I am craving a play off game but hell even that would be bad for us because we use that as an excuse to not make bold moves to make this team better
