Robert, you are so talented, and I'm always amazed at the research you must do on all the places you visit. My parents retired to St. Pete in 1969 and lived there for years. that neighborhood you said looked sketchy kinda looks cool. lots of trees and greens. only thing i would require is a good space between my neighbors and my own parking lot.

I visited St. Pete years ago and it was neat but as my girlfriend put it .Gods waiting room lets go to Tampa .Dale Chihuly Has his museum of glass art building in downtown Tacoma and another in Seattle Wa if you want to see his work and in the state

Could you tell me what kind of camera you use for filming this video when filming by hand , I assume the in car video is Go Pro ?
Handheld camcorder is a Sony FDR-AX33 and the action camera used to be a GoPro, but now I've also been using a Sony FDR-X3000

It would appear the amount of sunshine stated at the beginning is rather exaggerated. Actual numbers are much lower and St. Petersburg is definitely much less sunny than Miami, not to mention places like Las Vegas, Phoenix, or Denver, for that matter. Still, a nice way to attract snowbirds.
Oh well, I guess they lied to me too. Miami not so sunny either.... as people might think.

St.Petersburg seems like such a sleepy little city. I'm relocating would you say Miami or Tampa Bay is better as far as culture and activities and beaches??? Oh! And jobs? You have great videos that help me so much. But as a citizen which would, you suggest?
Miami probably has more culture, it is a much larger, denser city but it is much more crowded, and stressful, and expensive. I did like St. Pete a lot and the beaches are better than Miami Beach... that being said I live in Miami, not St. Pete. Miami is much more Latin for sure. Sometimes it feels more like the northernmost Latin American city than the Southernmost major North American city. I think it depends on what you like. You should visit both and be the judge.
