Very enjoyable video! Just received my Florida pharmacist license. Good bye Ohio, Hello Florida. Robert you inspire so many to explore and celebrate life. Hope to watch many more videos of your travels. Thank YOU!
Excellent video. Haven't been there for over thirty years, so nice to "visit " again. Always wanted to ride an airboat there. Great to see all the wildlife. Safe travels. 👍
I spend a lot of time on and around the Tamiami trail fly fishing and camping. I just did a video, fly-fishing that loop road. There certainly were a lot of gators! Thanks for sharing!!!
Robert, this is a wonderful video showcasing the wildlife in the Everglades. I really enjoyed how excited the kids on the tram got. Good to hear that the Everglades health is being restored as evidenced by the flock of woodstorks. Thanks for the tour!
I need to go back to Florida someday. Last time was 1995 during Speed Week. Had an extra week to drive around the state and see things but mostly in passing. Everglades are beautiful. Nice of you to take time to feed the mosquito's. Thanks and take care,,,
So beautiful... I am curious to go down there now and see what it all looks like after the fire...We can really smell it here in Naples..Another great video Robert!!
Thank you for the wonderful video as usual Robert. I never really thought I'd be interested in touring the Everglades but now I know I will do it for sure thanks to your interesting video.
Wow, I just found your channel. I am a Miami native and a lot of the things you show in your video I didn't even know about. It's amazing how much effort you put into your videos, I love them. Please keep it going, Robert
great video as usual.. I've never been to Florida but view it as an interesting place and your videos make me want to visit. I'm of the few ppl who like humid weather
hahahaha 😂😆 loving your comments on this vlog ,epic fail and about the cars on the side of the track .I agree with the noise of the tram and maybe your bikes will be more enjoyable next time .loving your fantastic vlog as always keep up the good work 🚙
i just stayed at Burns Lake last week. the Oasis Visitor Center is a great place to stop for an hour, one of the best video shows for free. and Midway is a nice RV park to stay at 2/3 hook ups. great shots of the wildlife Robert. for us non Flordians, what is a Strand? great stereo music in my headphones.
Burns lake is very similar to Monument Lake, I don't really know the accurate definition of a strand, but it looked like a slow river to me. I guess it is like a break in the swamp... Thank you!
Great video Robert... thank you. I laughed my ass off literally when the tram lady said "And here we have an alligator... oh no I'm wrong forget the alligator." LMAO!!!!!
A little too close to the alligators Robert, lol. You are making us want to do a long trip to Florida. So much to see and do. We went with Viair 400P-RV air compressor. A little expensive, but very good. Works good on our Class C motor home tires. I had a Black and Decker compressor a little similar to the one in your video, but I felt like it was getting too hot on our tires and didn't want to take the chance of it failing. The only thing I do not like about the Viair we have is that it is powered with battery clamps. You have to clamp it on to a battery to run. Just a small. Inconvenience.
Thanks man. Tire pump is very convenient to have. I hate going to the gas station, and putting the quarters in, and block the entire section with the trailer...
At (4:21) the winter here in FL is not winter at all, its already March and getting hotter..ugh! I think winter skipped us, and Spring came after Fall, if I remember Fall weather was like Summer. Well Florida weather is either hotter or the hottest, depends on where you are at! That Suaoki Air Compressor looks cool! Yes having a longer cable would be great, not sure why the companies want to provide 3 ft of cable or 10 ft if were're lucky! Great video!! at 15:51 "Good Morning sounded like you were...still asleep!! LOL!
Great video as always, Robert. If you visit Shark Valley again, I strongly recommend riding your bike instead of taking the tram. It's a completely different (better) experience. Side note - my wife and I just moved from Colorado back to our home state of Florida, and numerous times on the drive we broke out in spontaneous duets of "Riding with my RV." Thanks!
As always a great video many thanks.....do you video in 4k or a lower resolution when driving? I was wondering why sometimes the lower portion of the screen pixelates so much on some videos compared to other scenes? Like when you were on Loop Road....just wondering....are you still liking the Sony? Have you thought about trying out some new 360 degree cameras...check out David Bott video using his...very interesting when viewing things with a smart phone
+Mike Venti in this video none of the trailer mounted cameras were 4K. Just the two handheld, both Sony which I like a lot. And yes, I'm thinking of doing some 360° VR in the future.
Robert I am gearing up for retirement in our RV. I like your sony camera. Can you recommend it? Are there others you like as well? Is the sony water proof or do you have a case for it? Do you have an optional lens? Thanks Johnny
I am actually using two Sonys. One is a regular 4K camcorder, not waterproof, the AX33. I also use the latest action camera by Sony, the x3000. That one is splash proof without the external enclosure and waterproof with the enclosure.
Nice campground, camped there before during cooler ;-) weather, still the blood suckers were terrible. Last time we went, there were a couple of campers nearby running their LOUD generators making it very uncomfortable, but you know how it is. How did your solar system hold up ? Did you have enough juice to make it through the weekend OK?
Sometimes in the morning my battery read low, after running the fantastic fan all night. Eventually I need to get a better battery bank, and maybe a second solar panel.
Hi Robert i must say your videos are absolutely beautiful, mesmerizing , i woke my wife up with all my commenting, I have one question,is there a problem with to many alligators, there seems to be a lot more than i remember, and they look so healthy and well fed. I dont remember not having a winter in Florida, at least cold enough to kill mosketoes
Hi Robert, I really enjoy your informative videos. Keep them coming. I am actually thinking about getting an RV like yours. What type of vehicle do you use to pull it. Is your vehicle a kia four wheel drive? Thank you
Robert with all the travel you do, would think you pay for the annual National Park membership, if I am not mistaken you would get into Everglades park for free. Think it is the same as three entrance fees per year.
Me and the wife visited the Everglades National Park stay there for a couple of days in February 2018 was a real good time. Except for the park host was extremely rude.
Thanks for the very polished videos, it is obvious the work that you put in compared to a lot of other videos on You Tube. I'm supposed to be on my jollies and coming back from Cyprus tomorrow but, due to some unfortunate medical emergencies we'll have to settle for sunny Blackburn, in England. Please forgive me if I don't sympathise too much due to the unusually hot climate over there but, our rain has hailstone included, now and again, lol. I wonder where the name 'Shark Valley' came from? I was hoping that the guide may have got a little more confused than usual.
I didn't see any, but then again I almost didn't see the alligator just next to me. They are supposed to be havin a python infestation and they want to get rid of them because it is not a native species to the Everglades
What? No skunk apes on the tour? Lol! 😉 I can't believe how close people were getting to that alligator. I know someone who had his arm bit off by an alligator, there is no way I would get that close.
this place is so different during winter and summer time... We didn't see any gator on August2016 in Shark Valley... Can you imagine??? Check out my drone video on Everglades... Subscribed
Sorry, I'm laughing because of the old New Jersey? Jewish? tour guide and that horribly noisy tram? buggy? I would have such a headache between all of that and the kids squealing at the top of their lungs. Oy Vey! I would have demanded a refund! Haha!
Your travel Vlogs are the best. Thanks for all your work on the photography and the editing.
You make it seamless. 🤗
+herbielina Thank you. Glad you like them

Thank you! Airboats are a lot of fun, different trip though.

Thank you for the wonderful video as usual Robert. I never really thought I'd be interested in touring the Everglades but now I know I will do it for sure thanks to your interesting video.
I didn't think much of the Everglades either, before I discovered that loop road. Go in the winter though
Me encanta el lapso de tiempo en su video Robert
Another awesome contribution! Thanks Robert, always enjoyable. Quite the tour guide. Happy travels! :)
Wow, I just found your channel. I am a Miami native and a lot of the things you show in your video I didn't even know about. It's amazing how much effort you put into your videos, I love them. Please keep it going, Robert

Watching this in July '2020 when we're unable to travel ourselves. Thank you, Robert!
Great video as always, thanks for sharing your adventures Robert,
You did some really nice photography in that video. Thanks.
Thanks!
Amazing place. But the alligators freak me out. 😜 ❤
great video as usual.. I've never been to Florida but view it as an interesting place and your videos make me want to visit. I'm of the few ppl who like humid weather
If you like humidity you will be in heaven! Florida is awesome. I am a palm tree-hugger myself :)
Thank you. If you like humid weather do come in August.
hahahaha 😂😆 loving your comments on this vlog ,epic fail and about the cars on the side of the track .I agree with the noise of the tram and maybe your bikes will be more enjoyable next time .loving your fantastic vlog as always keep up the good work 🚙

Yeah, she was a little off.
pro tip : you can watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Alex Liam yup, I have been watching on flixzone} for since december myself :D
High quality professional videos, thanks for sharing.

The Viair probably needs a little more amps than what the cigarette lighter adaptor can provide.
TravelingRobert agreed! Wish it had an AC plug though for the house.
I was impressed that the tour guide could tell it was a male alligator. Normal people have to do a finger check in the private parts.
+airborneshodan She said how she could tell but I forgot.
Great video, Robert. Enjoyed it very much. Great camera work. :)
Thank you!
Tire pump is way cool. Your so good at everything! Editing is a real bear..I have great respect for your many skills. :)
Thanks man. Tire pump is very convenient to have. I hate going to the gas station, and putting the quarters in, and block the entire section with the trailer...
good video
Robert thank you for video Everglades.
You have some really great videos!!

Robert got his desk!!!! Yay
Love your Kentucky shirt buddy
When I've been to Everglades, it smelt so bad like sulfer
Thanks! Maybe it was the time of the year. We didn't smell anything out of the ordinary. Mosquitoes were pretty brutal though.
Another great video! We are thinking about moving over to 4K, what editing software to you use to edit in 4K? Thanks
Thanks! I use Final Cut Pro X
Robert

Thank you. This year it has been unseasonably warm, but still cool enough for the gators to come out of the water.
you are a mighty brave man mr. Robert. I am just terrified if snakes, crocks and gators!
Haha, gator are not that bad... just don't bother them.
ive been waiting for this one!! woot woot
Hi Robert, I really enjoy your informative videos. Keep them coming. I am actually thinking about getting an RV like yours. What type of vehicle do you use to pull it. Is your vehicle a kia four wheel drive? Thank you
It is an old Sorento EX rear wheel drive
Nice

Was that another gator swimming to the left of the blue heron ? Looked to be sneaking in
One of them was sneaking up on me
Going through a swamp without bug spray ...que loco!
Me and the wife visited the Everglades National Park stay there for a couple of days in February 2018 was a real good time. Except for the park host was extremely rude.
PS: Like that 'auto off' feature on that compressor... I'm always afraid I might blow my tires up!
Sounds worth while.
Been there. Last year
Y por la forma en que su esposa es hermosa.
I have to get out of town, too many weekends indoors... the road is calling me.
+Crurned Travels and Other Stories Dale go!

+Rich T. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I have no idea where the name comes from, something to do with Shark River being nearby.
Aren't there a lot of snakes around as well? They would do me in.
I didn't see any, but then again I almost didn't see the alligator just next to me. They are supposed to be havin a python infestation and they want to get rid of them because it is not a native species to the Everglades
Related to aligator story!: When I was in Cairns Australia this was News www.standard.co.uk/news/crocodile-granny-fights-14ft-beast-6976136.html
Miganarchine Wow! What a news story about that brave 64 yr old lady!
Joanies Blue Crab Cafe shows they are now "permanently closed" on Google :-/
Oh that sucks. This was less than a year ago that I was there.
I don't do florida without electric or generator.
Love the video but the tram ride was loud and the lady was very obnoxious sounded like a retired new Yorker

Yeah, the Everglades are definitely better in the "winter".
Your wife is very pretty. Does she just not like to be on camera? 😊
+Jody's Journey Generally she doesn't
Who knows... maybe those mosquitos saved you from being eaten by an alligator OR a python. Hehe
Who knows :-)
Sorry, I'm laughing because of the old New Jersey? Jewish? tour guide and that horribly noisy tram? buggy? I would have such a headache between all of that and the kids squealing at the top of their lungs. Oy Vey! I would have demanded a refund! Haha!
Yeah, it wasn't the best of tours in that sense.
Don't harass the poor gator's. Lol. Stepping all over them.
