The best game song ever!!! I do not own any rights to this song, I just wanted to give people what they want with this 1 hour och constant and uninterrupted song of awesomeness.
Battlefield 1942: A game released in 2002, were you could since be a captain of a ship like Yamato, the largest battleship ever lauched to a simple destroyer or even a submarine. Were you could pilot a stuka or a B17, the flying fortress, a Spitfire or a BF109. A game were you could order artillery from your sniper. Were you could invade islands and beachs with anphibious vehicles. A game were you had a lot of variety of weapons and factions, a lot of diferent maps. WTF happened to the today's games? I continue to play modern games and I can't find the same enviroment that BF1942 had, no matter how simple the graphics were.

The guns were often wrong, the maps were facsimiles of the real locations, the ships and carriers were shrunk down - and for tech reasons which makes sense but don't let nostalgia override your sense of reality - it was a nice coat of WWII paint on a very fun arcade-style multiplayer game. That's it.

I'm sick of vehicle classes with insane skill ceilings that don't add to the game (jets) (although it's debatable how much of that is skill, to be fair, considering how it's about abusing the jet physics, lol), gimicky shit that seems to count as significant content when it's not (swimming, active radar, even SRAW), and instant kill clone-esque weapons (although I'd say DICE did a decent job, considering the limitations modern weapons puts on them).
Epic Gamerz I agree, that is not Battlefield and doesn't deserve the series title. But it's not like BF was headed in a good direction before Hardline. Vehicle spawns on flags? Active radar? Even worse attack chopper balance? I expect BF5 to be just as bad as BF4 if not worse. Only good thing I've seen DICE doing is working on server and engine issues such as tickrate.

Battlefield 1942 is the best battlefield series because you play the game with A.I. not human on controlling anything you like tanks, plane, etc. Playing with human you get killed in just few minutes time. And this song is playing during the game bring another +50% of the excitement.

What a time to have been a gamer. Kids will never know...
Even though more than 20 years have passed, the game works quite well on Windows 10 if you apply all the patches that the community has made to play it online and in good resolution and sound. The only problem I've had is that from time to time there are crashes when entering a game of any type with a resolution greater than 800x600@60; The good thing is that I found a way to control it, so I already know what to do so it doesn't crash, but what a good fucking game for God's sake! and more with those mods that improve graphics and textures!

Which Battlefield game had the trailers with the vehicle's starting up?. The helicopter rotors would start and the trailer would stop. The tank will start up, the tracks would roll and the trailer will stop. The submarine propellers will start up and trailer stop.
