Thank you for a wonderful tour of Virtuosa. We are going in June and it is our first MSC cruise. It looks as though we are in for a treat. Keep up the good work!
Another great video Fraser. Had my first ever cruise on her last year and am going to Norway on the 11th. She is a beautiful ship and you have done her proud with your tour
Thanks, Tony! Glad you enjoyed, and happy to hear you’ve booked again on her - she’s one of my favourites. Weirdly, I didn’t like Meraviglia anywhere near as much, and they’re such similar ships. Enjoy Norway - that’s going to be stunning!
Really good video we sailed on Virtuosa last cruise and really enjoyed it, we have Norway on her next in August, btw I think you did well getting footage in the spa I think yours is the first I’ve seen which really shows everything
Ah, that’s such great feedback - thanks so much! It took my a couple of days to gather it all - was quite the mission! Thanks a lot for watching, and thanks for taking the time to leave this comment!
Thank you for the tour! Going on Virtuosa to Norway next Saturday and so excited, our first ever cruise 😁 so these videos are so helpful! we've booked the dining experiences and the spa package 👍
I love MSC, and I have cruised on Euriba, Seaside, and World Europa. Will be cruising again in October on Virtuosa to Ireland , Amsterdam, and other ports. I can't wait .I love everything about MSC ships. I am hooked, Fraser.❤❤❤
Hi, noticed your channel from comments in Emma Cruises now, had a look around & noticed you have been on this ship a lot. We are looking to book this for July next year. Do you think this is a good idea, smack in the middle of peak season were it will be at its busiest, have you ever been on this ship in July/August ? The concern that's holding us back is will it be way too busy and chaotic at this time of year. Its just me & my wife going, were in our mid 30s so we like how lively the ship is, especially at night it looks a blast, just worried in case its utter chaos & wed spend most our time queuing for spaces at buffet, restaurants , long waiting time for drinks etc.
Hi Neil, thanks for stopping by! I have been on here in July actually - I’m sure that’s when I did my Norway cruise! To be honest, I’ve always found Virtuosa to manage crowds really well, but have heard very mixed reviews. Good luck if you do choose to go for it - please come back and let me know how it goes!
Fabulous Fraser. I love Virtuosa, back on her on the 11th to Norway and I cannot wait. This will be the fourth time on her. And then in Preziosa in October. 😂 This showed virtuosa well and I could see your enthusiasm. Any plans to get back on her?
Hey, first thanks so much for joining the channel - it’s so appreciated! I also adore Virtuosa - considering her size, she’s such a homely ship! Thanks for watching - I don’t have any plans to get back onboard yet, but who knows - she has a few shorter ones this year - might try for one of them…!!
@@FraserAtSea LOL I have meant to join since you started membership, I am just old and forgetful... Have you done preziosa? I am looking forward to see the difference.
Wow I’m so glad my husband up graded us, I’m not a snob but the buffet was 3 deep when we went to look at it. Sooo many people. Round the pool was mad. Over 6000 if they all wanted to get in water at same time just imagine. So noisy as well everywhere. Was like a night club ! People who had no control over children. Go for a smaller ship my advice
I’ve just come off max virtuosa fro 23rd april to 4th May and was in minuetto for dinner it only had two dinner settings 17.45 and 20.45 it’s not flexible as far as I saw as people were getting turned away when I sat for dinner at 17.45
Ah you've been on Virtuosa. I've just booked my first MSC cruise. I've got mixed feelings due to the reviews online, but will go with an open mind. Hopefully its better than your last MSC experience.
Oh, I so hope it is too! Virtuosa is one of my favourite ships actually - I’ve always felt the experience offered onboard is great. Hopefully that’s still the case - please come back and let me know how you get on!
Hi Fraser, I'm going on this ship in a few months. I have a question, is there chavs onboard (the people you normally see in spanish hotels drinking and being loud and annoying)?
Hi depends my husband up graded us to yacht club as it’s hectic everywhere. I’m so glad he did. The buffet was manic whatever time you went, so noisy. If that’s what you like then you be ok. We came down but so nice to go back to yacht club. Everyone we talked to said even your allotted restaurants were crowded. Kids running everywhere. Pushchairs a real trip hazard. Over 6000 good luck if they all decide to go in pool at same time. Pool is way too small. And another trip hazard. People put towels on beds early and just take over with “chesney and Tyler” ha ha (kids) ! You can’t have a leisurely swim as chesney and Tyler are jumping in and out ! But saying that it’s an amazing ship. But too big for us. The P & 0 aurora is more for us. Staff were brilliant. It’s an experience. Don’t buy anything till further on in week as they do 10% etc off. Check you app. Use ship time when you go off ship as your phone can be hour out. Also take passport with you in case you miss ship ! Have fun
Good question - I always struggle to answer this! I think there are so many positives to so many different lines. I do LOVE how different the likes of Cunard etc are, but also LOVE the more 'mainstream' lines too - all depends what you want from your cruise!
Lovely ship, but wouldn't return, simply too many people, cant get a sunbed, really struggling to get a seat for entertainment, and also a banging noise every night in our cabin, did complain but to no avail, again lovely ship, but alot of things to sort out
Ahh, I do understand re busy ship - my first cruise on Virtuosa was right after the closedown, and we had 900 onboard. More recently, I was on at full capacity - such a different experience. Thanks for watching!!

@@FraserAtSea Thank you
1st ever cruise on virtuosa last year, absolutely loved it. Going again in 6 weeks, can't wait. Beautiful and immaculately spotless.
Oh, so glad to hear you’ve booked again - I love it on there too. Have a great trip!
Yes, people complain about MSC, but they are lovely ships. Thanks, Fraser, just reminded us how much we liked Virtuosa !!
Totally agree Stephen - the ships are just gorgeous!
Really nice tour, thanks! I have no desire to sail with them, but it is a very nice ship! Lots of great features. 😊
Yeah, there’s no denying that MSC know how to design a ship - they’re beautiful!
Great tour, will put it to good use as I travel on her next week.
Ah, perfect timing for me to release this then! Have a great cruise!!
Always enjoy a great ship tour as it gives me an opportunity to spy out some of the more quiet spots around the ship!
Thanks, as always, for being here and supporting my channel!!
Thank you for doing this tour. My first ever cruise is on Virtuosa next week 🎉 I can’t wait to get on board!

Thanks for tuning in - hope you enjoy!
12.55, if i have premium DP, can i pay the 'extra', to have ultra top shelf bubbly/spirits? Some people say yes, MSC now do that? cheers
Hey! I believe so, but best to check when onboard. Sorry that I can’t give you a solid answer! Thanks for watching my video :)
Do you have to buy a drink package. As I only drink larger. Can I go to the bar and just buy this
Nah, you don’t have to - you can buy per drink if you’re not a big drinker! Thanks for watching!

@@FraserAtSea absolutely I will!
My first European ship preference would be Norwegian... but MSC sounds like a good 2nd option...
I’d recommend Norwegian - they’re excellent! My ship tour and vlogs of NCL Escape will be coming soon!
If i am correct i was on msc virtuosa yesterday and it did not go to norway😅
Ah, cool! Yeah, I filmed this a while ago, haha!

Great video is the ship in Dollars and are gratuities incuded
For Virtuosa sailing in Europe, she was in Euros, and gratuities were extra. You’ll find the up to date fees on the MSC website 😊
First time cruising this summer, we have booked Aurea. It says we have access to thermal spa - does that mean we can use steam room etc for free?
Hey! If you’re an Aurora guest, yes it does! You get a good amount included with that package - good choice!
