I'm an eldritch horror. A merfolk. This is my story about how 4 friends (well, 3 friends and my friend's sister) help me fulfill my lifelong dream of going to Prom.
Friend 1- Doesn't acknowledge me as any different, as horrors such as I are common in her mind.
Friend 2- Did my makeup so I can pass as human! She was very friendly (even though she's only doing it bc her friends asked her to) and I'm ecstatic it was done so well!
Friend 3- Styled my scales and hair! Well, straightened and volumized my hair so you can't see the scales and fins. She loves nature and was super tolerant
Friend 4- Lent me a bag! She's still kind of nervous to be around me, but really is super friendly! She was the one who offered to help me get ready to begin with.
I'm so excited for my first prom.

Given your choice of name here, it's not terribly astounding... but, not gonna lie, my instinctual reaction at that line was "Oh, I'm in. I'm skipping prom, we're hanging out. I'll order the pizza."
I do the last one at least once an hour, every hour whenever I'm at work or in public.

How did it go I actually curios
@@mrsquid6990 it went well and at one point we were the first ones to dance because everyone was too square. It had a hypnosis guy show beforehand (like Chris McKenna) which was weird and no we didn't go on for that one. This was in the UK where people can be a little reserved.

As a southerner I wasn't 100% sure I know what a southern accent sounds like not so much a northern or midwestern one
