We had a girl harassing continuously our daughter. School did nothing had meetings with girls we knew nothing about our kids aren't allowed social media but our daughter would find out this bully was posting stuff about her. We had meeting one meeting with the parents and I immediately got to see where the girl gets it from. The mother was yelling swearing at me with principle there and threatened my daughter. We had changed classes our daughters schedule and this girl continued to go into her classes "for help", following her harassing her. After that meeting we changed schools.

The mother has an excuse for everything her child says or does. "He's sorry for the way it was interpreted" simply means he believes he was right to make the comment and it's not his fault how "Kill Katie Club" was interpreted. She claims he did nothing wrong, she was not their she only has her son's word for it. The mother has checked the son's phone records, aside from Katie is he the only other person in the school who owns a phone? could he have bought a burner phone? It feels exactly like it should when your son makes a stupid comment and then has to pay the price for it. If I'd have been nick and I was innocent, aside from a moment of stupidity, I'd have moved heaven and earth to have been on that program, if for no other reasons than to ensure that Katie knew that I deeply regretted putting Katie through all this, to apologise to her and to ensure her that I would make every effort to make things right, no matter what my coddling mother said.

I can't believe the comments! Giselle is the real bully. She is hungry for fame. She took the story to the media after the police told her not to. That is not the actions of a mother trying to protect their daughter. A good mother would want it to die down. I think the further bullying by other students is a result of Giselle and Katie and the sensation they turned it into.
I don't dismiss that the boy should never have made that post. What about the girl he was communicating with who put her own twist of nastiness into it?
People need to get over themselves! When I was a kid we learned about "Sticks and stones."
Before you all act as judges, why don't you remember your own mistakes?
To Giselle: Let your daughter get over it!
Before anybody snaps at me... I'm 68 years old, and I was molested as a child. I believe my adult opinion is valid.

That kid is a punk. In this day & age for him to utilize the word “kill” & identified the girl, who is a victim, is outrageous. And for him to call the family within an hour is in acceptable. These parents, the mother in particular, Michelle,
Mother of the punk, her conduct is outrageous and how dare she say that her son “is the victim”. Now. The mom had the opportunity to open her heart and apologize but she made an excuse. Who cares what “Nick” is focused on and her “it’s likewise Katie” is disgraceful. “For 8 months we didn’t have to hear her name”.. what a disgrace. She is a revolting “mother”. That pig smirked on camera… she is lucky the father of this young woman doesn’t handle that pig mother in a different manner. (It’s ridiculous that I have to note that this comment is not an advocation of violence in any respect, if anything, that young single mother and her daughter deserve defending and assistance)

    • @KTHashi

Yup - my 1st thought is they wouldn't be acting this way if the mom was married to a 6'4 man with a rifle slung over his shoulder. (For hunting, of course.) They're definitely picking on what they perceive as "weaker" pack members, a single mom with no defense system and her equally undefended 16 yo girl. Just like the bullies they are.

Bullying is a behaviour. One can not "become a bully". One can partake in bullying behaviour. EVERY person is capable of bullying and if honest, likely has been a bully, or picked sides, at some point in their lives. Ofcourse, most will not admit it due to their egos. Everyone wants to think THEY are in the right, and no one wants to admit when they are wrong.

To me, he is clearly only doing this for views.

I don’t think you should go to the media for high school drama.

Nick needs to apologize. His parents need to take responsibility and stop making excuses. They are both wrong. But so are Katie and her mother. Katie was popular in junior high. She bullied Nick. Her calling him names is not the same as him coining the term about the club, but she is not totally innocent in this.

All of you attacking a kid for a stupid comment aren't thinking about the mom running to social media after police requested she didn't do that. You're ignoring the daughter was bullying him and other students. Once it came back at her, her bully mom will take care of it behind the keyboard. What a warrior. She isn't liked by other students for her own actions not what the boy said.

Maybe these people should block social media and then it be less of a problem?? Why grown people are arguing about being tweets and Facebook messages is beyond me

I have a question for anybody who might know the answer... Did Nick's mom come across as passive-aggressive? I don't know if that's the right way to describe her or not, but when she said "I apologize if..." and then something about "he's sorry for how you interpreted it.." and then the "I pray for you" part... It just felt insincere, condescending, and passive-aggressive. (if that's the right way to describe it..) I'm not sure if that's what passive-aggressive is or not, or maybe there's a different name for it?
