      Bumpers only need to be removed when your replacing the entire headlight enclosure.

    Just want to say thank you for making this video. I been paying a local mechanic to change my HIDs. I believed this is the 4th time the right side got burnt out, due to the fact that it was closer to the engine and it overheats. The mechanic was extremely annoyed with me and my car. I decided to DIY which I should have done in the first place. I bought a couple sets of HIDs just in case. Last night after work, I made my first attempt to change out the HID kit. It took me a while but now I got the hang of it, it shouldn't take me long if I were to change it again next time. I'm so glad I don't have to pay someone to do it for me. I made sure for this time the ballast was mounted away from the engine and where there's more ventilation. Hopefully, it stays good for years rather than months. I also plan to purchase new snaps for the mudflap since it's wearing out.

    Thank you so much for this video. It was really detailed and the reason I purchased the kit. I ordered my LED kit and installed within 30 minutes. I didn't even realize it came with the Double-sided tape until I started the second headlight. I also didn't have to take the wheel out, for those asking.

    Is better to remove the tires? Some other videos show just rotation the tires in/out and still have similar access. Plus, I have fog lamps too.

    You're tutorial is bulletproof! Nice and clear. Thanks. I have a 2008 Accord Sedan exl v6 and I put on the 9006 lowbeams. Great product! . I want to also get the highbeam/DRL LEDs. Is it also the 9006 for these? Same as the lowbeams? (My highbeams and DRL use the same bulb)

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We appreciate the kind words! Your highs / DRLs would use the 9005 kit here:
      www.precisionled.com/premium-9005-cree-led-headlights.html
      This upgrade will change your highs and DRLs to LED without any issues. When the DRLs are ignited, the LEDs are designed to dim, exactly as your halogens do.

    Did you have any issues with the blinkers not working or blink rapidly when the lights are off? I have that issue with the LED lights I have. Blinkers only work if the lights are off, but blink fast, and don't come on at all when the lights are on.

    are u sure u don't need proper projectors bcs on the wall it seems there's a lot of glare

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K or 8000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.

    • @4Peta20
      @4Peta20 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +PrecisionLED I think you went the wrong way. The higher the K number the more blue and purple the lights are. 4k is more natural. And i have hid's in my 08 accord. 6K. I did a retrofit with projectors and painted chrome housing black. My cut off is sick. No glare.

    I have a question, I have a 2012 Honda Accord se, I want to change both the running light/low beam and high beam. And blinkers could I reach all the connections from under the fender liner or would I have to take off the whole bumper?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The low beam and high beam can be accessed from the fender liner. We do not do blinkers so we cannot give you a definite answer on that one.

    • @PrecisionLED

      Yes, the LEDs will indeed work with your reflector housing. • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The legality varies vastly from locale to locale and you will need to check with your local laws and regulations. What we commonly dissuade customers from, and what is illegal, are any colors above 6000K, as they are prohibited by the Department Of Transportation. Any color hues in your headlights are very distracting to other drivers which is why we only carry the 6000K color temperature for the headlamps, as they project the purest white.
      With proper installation in a projector housing, your aftermarket LED headlights will perform exactly like OEM LEDs.

    does it shot out like a headlight beam or spread out like a fog light, I have tried led before and they don't seem to reach out as far as a halogen or hid bub

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is very odd, however, your previous experiences could have been from a lower quality LED product, as sometimes the lower quality products do not increase your headlight brightness. Our kits increase your nighttime driving visibility by 2-3x. I believe your comparison is similar to a projector vs reflector housing. The LEDs would project as your halogens do in your headlights. However, they will be MUCH brighter.

      Does it work with reflection housing assembly, because I use hid and led they seem like blind other cars and there’s no pointed light in street they not good as the projector, so my question is are those beautiful led functions on reflectors same as the projector assembly?? Because i see the shape of the led is half round and thats why got my attention it may be good for reflectors housing ? ,,,,,,,,,,thanks
