- Oregon Coast Road Trip In My GMC Savana Camper Van! My mom decided to fly in and join me for 5 days of van camping as I travel the Oregon coast checking out the amazing scenery! We were able to check out the entire coast before getting robbed right outside of Gold Beach, Oregon. After I got the window repaired, we trekked off towards the giant redwood trees in Northern California. We ended it off camping at a rest stop before I dropped my mom back off at the airport in Portland, OR.

Wow that coast line was beautiful! I never got to the coast driving trk -I-5 pretty much most of the time so what a treat to see that ! Thank u! That forest u found was pretty cool too. Hope your mom was able to fly out without her ID. Safe travels !

You're a real explorer going all the way to the west coast, I've been wanting to head out there for years, maybe this summer. Too bad about the window, happened to me once, now I always remove the radar detector off the windshield so it's not a target.

So I don’t have anything in the works right now as far as a future build but I would kill to do an ambulance at some point! Buy an old e350 7.3 powerstroke diesel ambulance and 4x4 swap it. Then hit the inside and rebuild
I know you got stuck a couple videos back but that was some decent trail you had gone thru. Do you feel the need to have a 4x4. I want one of these but 4x4 is just on my mind so much.
I’ve taken it down way crazier stuff since and it’s done awesome! I’d say just get a good set of tires, air them down when you get on a trail and you’ll be good to go. Only thing I’d like to do to this van is get a locker installed
@Taylor VanBeek To continue off of what you said I think one of these vans with a locker in the rear and a winch in the front, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to go ALOT of places. BTW I been watching since you posted in the van life FB page about your build tour. You made me want a 3500 sliding door. So thank you.
