I love his acting, no question he has skill but above all I love watching his interviews. He is almost unbearably adorable. You almost have to look away at his sheer charming, deer like cuteness.
Eddie is so outstanding. His acting is absolutely alive. And of course, he deserved it. He has such a vivid facial mobility that is very useful for his career. Keep on going, Eddie!!! You make people believe your acting in movies. And I like his british accent, so charming!

LOVE Eddie Redmaune and have been a fan for over a decade now. His performance in The Theory of Everything was amazing. I always felt it was hardest for actors to play handicapped people or drunkards more than any other roles and he was fantastic. Also thought he deserved to win again for The Danish Girl. For a straight man to be able to play a transvestite with such tenderness and empathy moved me deeply. Magnificent performance. Eddie is one of the BEST actors under 40 working today.

i wasnt a fan when i saw him in Jupiter Ascending actually i hate everything of his character even his voice bother me but when i saw him in the theory of everything i realize that he is an amazing actor and very humble that movie turn to be one of my favorite, i cant wait to see more from him....btw now i THINK his voice AMAZING!!!!
The more I research Eddie Redayne's career (which I started after first heaing about him in fantastic beasts) the more I think that being a part of the "Potterverse" (that's not right, is it, I'll still call it Potterverse) will prevent him from having the amazing career he could have had. He's an amazing actor, but after this he will be remembered as Newt Scamander and getting other roles suitable for his brilliant acting will be incredibly hard. (The exact reson why Benedict Cumberbatch never wanted to be on Doctor Who) Which makes me feel kinda sorry for him.
I don't think that's necessarily true. I already considered him a huge deal way before Fantastic Beasts. He become more "mainstream," so to speak, when he appeared in Les Mis, got this Oscar for The Theory of Everything, had a stunning and widely appreciated performance in The Danish Girl... maybe his career would be compromised if FBAWTFT was his first big break, but that really isn't the case. I have been in awe of him since The Pillars of the Earth in 2010, and even then it was clear that he is someone special. The intensity and dedication that he gives his work shines through in every role he portrays, and his versatility will carry him to many other films.
