I think if you're Rog you gotta hope Remco can at least respond to one of the Ineos guys off the bat when they attack. That gets brought back and if your Rog attack if he knows he has the legs to do something.

Yes. Ineos is strong enough to let G or Tao win the pink jersey and their form is pretty good. If i had to say my favourite, i hope G will win this Giro because 2023 may be the final season that we can find him in peloton. He is always my favorite guy and he had some unlucky crashes these years... Anyway, I wish him enjoy this Giro.

In the mountains yes; not just not attacking but not instantly accelerating when others attack. Today I think he went a bit nuts in the first 15 minutes though. Ineos definitely paced the TT better to only 1 and 2 seconds.

Actually, it is important. It shows that vaccination, hygiene etc. remain important if any organization wants to function effectively. If the small number of people involved in a professional cycling race cannot keep Covid from spreading through its population, one wonders how armies in combat in Ukraine are doing.

Lost complete interest when these tours became "Giro D'Tech" and the "Tour De Tech" It's all about the $17,000 TT bikes now. You have some riders using complete Carbon chain rings that are tossed out after the time trials, all to get the lightest bike possible. Remco did not abandon the Giro due to Covid, expect another scandal coming up soon as Tramadol is still being abused. UCI is a business so it has to protect it's "Investment's" just as they did with Barnal, Chris Froome, Bradley Wiggins with their doping tests. They did this for 7 years with Lance Armstrong to get Pro cycling bikes into the USA markets, this brought billions in sales for the bike corporations.

Before you ask, YES, I am AWARE that it's an outdoor sport. So, yes, rain, hail, snow, blistering heat, wind, even lightning etc etc are ALL possible. But when the riders are on their own... Some going through pouring rain and puddles and others staying dry with a dry road, it just doesn't seem fair. 😢 It's simply the nature of some events, I guess.
