What's your opinion on a 1x Delney, Streetwise Lookout, maybe in place of an Extraction Specialist? Makes Phelia (and a lot of our other creatures) much less blockable and she triggers twice, Delney can be searched with Recruiter (so only need one copy) and doubles Recruiter's triggers if Delney's already in play, and same for Phantom, Stoneforge, and Apparition. Doesn't work with Solitude, but then again neither does Extraction Specialist. SoLaS can still get creatures back from the yard, but I'm also relatively inexperienced with the deck so I dunno. Edit: Guess you're not running Specialist in this list, but maybe Flickerwisp or Archon? Wisp seems redundant and Archon could be a sideboard card? Read on Reddit that a lot of D&T players are moving Archon to the sideboard.
I actually recently tried it and I didn’t like Delney as I felt she was too low impact when drawing her. I’m definitely going to try her again, but this time she didn’t do what I hoped. I currently run wisp as it has a lot of utility with many of the creatures we usually play or can be used to great effect against opponent’s threats or game plans. So for archon I am of the mind that it is very necessary when up against any type of control deck or storm as it helps to slow our opponents down enough for us to regain control of the board. @@BansheesEscape I saw your next video where you tried out Delney, I can see how she was underwhelming. Really wanted her to be better, but guess a lot of things work in theory but not practice. Might keep her in for now but pay attention to what I would prefer when I draw her. Still not sure how I feel about Archon in the main, but I think it deserves a spot in the board at least.
Long time I don't play modern, but seems like the meta now is just Nadu's and Mono Black's hehe super fun 😂
Oh it definitely is just Nadu and mono black. Wizards has a big problem on their hands in terms of the format health
