How in the hell she is still alive after RE2?
TheF4kE She never died. Her canon fate is being slammed into a machine by the tyrant and then later escaping half dead from Raccoon City. Leon just leaves her there assuming she is dead.
Ada Wong then makes a long-distance deal with Wesker, and is given the grapple gun, which she used to attach to a chopper and escape, as shown in this video when the Hunter catches her heel.
She can handle both her feelings for leon and her mission very well, she's not a trained machine, she has feelings too, but what's special about her is that she's always fully aware of what needs to be done and what lines shouldn't be crossed, which makes her kinda walking in the moral borderline. The ability to complete a dangerous mission at the same time not getting her “old friend” into trouble is what makes her a badass.

I feel the sediment, love ads too. Though realistically she is at her best when she is a mystery to the player. The best way to do that is make her a supporting character.
Ada might be the best trained character in resident evil. She is so disciplined and skilled. She is mentally strong and very cunning. I can't wait to see her abilities and appearance in the RE2 Remake.
What do you mean by lets Leon get in the way? If she want, Leon won't even noitice she was there. That just first start with some kind of compassion when she first help him, then maybe love, but she always got what she want/accomlish her mission
