We will never completely end the blaming game, but shared responsibility is the way forward. A leader is supposed to represent the people, not think for them. In 2024, the ANC was still blaming apartheid for their failures, while other groups blamed foreigners, and some blamed white people. It’s a never-ending cycle of pointing fingers, all the while ignoring a crucial fact: the ANC was given a country to govern, and they have brought it to ruin.

This saddening, the entire wild coast is attractive because of its tranquility. Now these crimes will serious chase away the tourist and incopetency from police is not helping. Being from wild coast, I know the community knows the pepetrators. In the old days, local chiefs had authority to punish perpetrators because police dont prioritize rural communities. This for me is a better solution, the rural towns of Northern KZN have what is called isikhephe, crime was rooted out of the area because of these initiatives.

I had the pleasure of staying at Bulungulu a few years ago. I had a great time there. I certainly won't go anywhere into the former Transkei again and neither will anyone in my circle of friends. A similar invasion happened to a mate of mine a few day ago. What was once a paradise getaway has become a cesspool of crime. The corrupt ANC are to blame. I will forever miss my holidays there. Sadly the local populace are those that will suffer the most.

Simple solution...as someone who is familiar withis area.
    Create jobs.
    Infrastructure projects.
    Area has appaling basic infrastructure.
Infrastructure jobs absorb huge amounts of the unemployed and also create a natural bulwark against crime as those benefiting, directly or indirectly, from the employment do not want crime to disrupt their newfound gains.
    But ke, corruption.
    Stalled projects.
    Nepotic programs.
The root of the problem lies with systems of corrupt patronage.
The rest is either a by-product or academic fluff.
