Your are correct but trafic lights can't be put on all pedestrian crossings. Beside trafic light it is also possible to design pedestrian bridges which still minimizes trafic accidents and it does not create traffic jams as there will be no car stop at pedestrian crossings.

I used to live in Arsi, in this week people were burned alive in there house including with there children in a place called Jena Ameju. People are displaced from there farm to the cities. For a long time it was peaceful place. But now it is scary place and the people couldn't able to work. Many peope were killed that I can name them here, some where taken and asked ransom in millions. Life should be given priority and you should work on security of the people. This kind of issues were in many places and scare me when things get worsen every day. I wrote this from the bottom of my heart and please work on the safety and security of the people. I believe life should be given priority.
