I have the 2s and they completely rock . I think the fins do add a snugger fit in the ear without becoming uncomfortable. These things are CRYSTAL clear with banging bass still! I can't imagine the high end earbuds sounding any better. These are at least as good or better than any Sony or apple expensive brands.
Jake DesRosiers let me know what you think about the bass difference, I'm thinking about getting the Flame 2 but I already have the Flames and the D7 and I can definitely tell the difference
Just one thing I'd like to add. If you're a music lover, stick to original mpow even though the battery compromises A LOT. It gives you richer bottom ends, you can hear the bass sound clearly enough. My flame 2 sounds so thin and doesn't give the proper stereo sound for some reason. I can't hear the bass sound. Maybe it was just a lemon I got.
Alright so i did some testings on phone with the flame s by turning on atpx hd on and off...and to be honest i did not notice any difference in sound quality 😂...maybe if there was some way to have a eq to detect the sound frequencies then yeah...other then that i could not determine any noticable differences with aptx hd on or off
I have both flame 2 didn't have the wings...I have several BT headsets that go to different devices.. My issue was I missed a lot of calls and text . like you said my biggest issue has been background noise with both.. I agree is sound quality is good. What I found out however the sound is better on these type of devices where the mic is on the ear piece verses a cable.. Cupping my hand over my ear often helps with background noise.

Mpow Flame 2 have Bluetooth 5.0 while Mpow flame have 4.1. 5.0 has 2 times higher transfer rate therefore there is no chance for lag when you watch for eg. movie in these. Plus it gives you more range.
You should check out the mpow flame Pro. They look like the Powerbeats Pro, just a more reasonable price. Plus I haven't seen nobody review these since they came out.
Can anybody explain me the difference between flame 1 and flame S ? Which one has the better bass and sound quality? I'm a Flame 1 fan (bought many of them through the years) and in love with their deep bass + quality. Didn't liked the flame 2 sound (poor bass IMO) and would definitely like to understand the main features of the Flame S earbuds. Thanks for detailed information 😉
but, have you tried turning on the aptx-hd on your phone? given it capable? that's what makes the big difference between the 2 earphones. Flame 2 has aptx.. the flame 1 hasn't. We all know aptx-hd capable phone combine with aptx-hd capable earphone have the best quality BT that can rival wired ones..!
Great review, thank you! I have both the Flame and the Flame 2. I have both because the microphones continue to stop working and were being replaced under warranty, but that has ceased... I sweat, a lot, and use these for working out. While my primary "mission" is for working out, I work out with my watch which has cellular technology (no phone), and if someone calls while I am on a run, it is nice to talk through the headphones, which I can no longer do... MPOW was good on replacing the first few times this happened, but since they were pulled from Amazon, the customer service department has stopped replacing my headphones... While these are nice, they continue to break... I don't know what the right answers is; do you buy the really expensive headphones with the expectation that they WILL be waterproof and things should work. Or do you continue to buy cheap headphones which work for months at a time? Again, this continues to happen with multiple (6 at this point) tries. It was no big deal when they would replace them for free thorough Amazon, and didn't even make me return the old pair, but since they have been pulled, the customer service department doesn't seem to care. The answer seems to be: buy whatever cheap headphones are on Amazon and let their customer service department force MPOW, or other company, to honor the warranty. And, to be clear, I'm not doing anything crazy with these. I'm going for long runs where I sweat. Sure, I sweat a lot, but it should be no where near complete submersion in water, and that is what the headphones indicate they can withstand with the IPX7 water rating
Hi. Is the wire long enough to wear it on the back of your neck? Do the ear hooks around your ear hurt the back of your ear overtime? How long before it hurts? Thanks for the review. First time on your channel. I liked & subscribed.
Great video! Thank you! I was about to spend money for nothing. I love my mpow flame 1, but I will only upgrade if my old one gets broken! Thank you very much.
@@hussanshahid2789 man, i do not have any troubles from sweat during workout. I bought my mpow flame 1 in 2018. Since then i have been running and no problems at all.
I have a number of earbuds. My more expensive 1More earbuds have one major drawback. I get maybe 1 1/2 hour playback. I use them constantly. I find myself wearing my Beyution earphones which look very similar to the Mpow's with the cord and over the ear hook. They get around 5 hours play time which is great when working for long periods outside or in the house watching TH-cam videos. I'm purchasing the Mpow Flame S Bluetooth Headphones Sports on Amazon for $23. Fantastic price and I'm more interested in run time then studio quality sound. I just require them to sound decent. Oh, my Daughter has a Tesla 3.. My God that car is freakin fast! The equivalent of 500 HP. She has the upgraded dual motors.
Just ordered some of these, looking forward to trying them out on my run tomorrow night! Hopefully I won't need to shell out 5 times as much for the powerbeats!
@@Remedy151 for the money they're very good. They don't fall out when running and the volume level is good enough to drown out the traffic noise. The only downsides are the battery life, which seems to not last that long even on a full charge, and the sound fidelity is probably not quite as rich as other headphones I've had. But as a running headphone they're perfect. Also used these on bike rides and made hands free calls, call quality is excellent. Very good overall for the price.
@@karlbristow1223 "They don't fall out when running" That's exactly what I wanted to hear lol! Already put an order in for the Mpow 2's . Guess we'll find out! :)

Flames have a better overall sound. Between the two, Flames. But if you don’t care for the style of the Flames and prefer more “in ear canal” buds then the Jaws. If you buy 1 over the other you won’t be missing out on much, so it’s really about what style you prefer.
