Well, this got me right in the feels. I cried. I have twin girls. I never had to deal with anything like this of course, but they were tiny. They were preemies . They struggled, but man, are they the smartest little girls. It's funny when they were little about 2 I guess they had their own language and one of them,after conferring about what they wanted to communicate to us, one was always the spokesperson. They're almost 17 now. And they're smarter than I ever was or ever could be. I'm so proud to be their father.
Now that's a development I'd think any man would love to have themselves...I'm no 'smart' person so if I ever have kids I'll pray they are smarter then I and that I can give them the best chances I possibly can. Oh and that 'they confer and one that's always the spokesperson' was honestly bloody adorable when I mentally pictured it in my head!
You'll stop fantasizing if you can get in shape and have extra money. You don't know me ,but I can guarantee. You will get a girlfriend, by getting in shape, having money and be aloof. Don't accept the attention at first.
Actually, I think they are galactic spies, making a hand-off of something super secret, (Starburst new flavor, Milkyway new candy bar, the Neptunes greatest hits album or Galaxy Quests new release date?) as they pass each other.
“Normal” is a relative term. This father was blessed to find his family and these girls were blessed to be found. I can only wish these fictional characters a long and happy life.

A sci-fi story with a twist I think. Not too much science and very little fighting and warfare. Most of the story revolves around the love and compassion that we all have for children! Anyone wanting vast space battles or interstellar politics should move along!
I was looking at the opening clip: the short person at the left, holding hands with a taller person, looks like the body was split in half. With the bottom half walking forward and the upper half being turned around, such that the red backpack is shown. Beautiful Story and brought me to tears.
As a grandfather, the storyline really tugged at my "Dad Heart", fear and anger of someone missing with mine is a shared fear of all Dads. Good story, but I have to admit, I get shades of "The Matrix" whenever someone says, "Mr. Anderson. " I half expect an agent Smith to appear. 😂 P.S. Wouldn't be a bad Netflix live action or a Crunchyroll anime. ( If anyone in power is listening. 😎
I got taunts of freak and alien as a child, even up through college and into aerospace. My co-workers were sure my lab was turning out alien technologies... not kidding.
I really liked and enjoyed this story. I'm glad the twins didn't get locked up in a lab for tests. I'm glad they were able to "try and live normal lives". I liked in the end they chose "both" worlds, being the bridge. This is the first story I have listened to from you and I subscribed (just like another subscriber). Look forward to listening to more of your stories.
This is a wonderful story and it needs a second part showing the young women and their two worlds. Possibly one marrying an Astrian and the other a Human.

I have been listening to them and you in a short 45 minutes are able to capture the hearts of the people and within it the sense of pride, joy, family, and morals in ways no one in this rechet govt and world has felt in a long time, with a sense of unity and love. See, some of us need to take a break from the world we're living in, and these stories do just that, so when they are done in such little time I, for one, feel the thirst for more, and am very sure that I am not the only one. Find someone who can turn these stories into videos. I mean, A person with the right skills can close their eyes and see how to bring them to life in a video. But for the love of God do something, don't just stay stuck on this. I tell you, if I were rich, I would find you and make it happen. Do not waste your talent, make it grow, man. Theres a few ...commense sense things wrong with this story...first and foremost , 99% sure that doctors/scientists would run a bunch of tests to make sure the twins were compatible with ...just everything and they would 1000000% be under constant governmental care. They wouldn't go to a public school, but instead be privately taught and Ryan would still be allowed guardianship more then likely especially if the children formed a bond with him.
I feel the story was a bit rushed there could have been so much more while they were still young and found out they need to rule but all in all good story a few plot holes here and there but I applaud you for putting your story out there good job
Good story, but what I don't understand how a slaver factions military could rival an empires capital defense fleet. Was it a slave empire lie the Hutt from Star Wars or something else? It's pretty bad of the author to only call them slavers and then make them powerful enough to challenge the capital home fleet. Why would slavers have a fleet so huge and powerful that it could be a challenge for probably one of the most powerful empire fleets. I could understand if it was a nation of mercenary's, but this is slavers we talk about, military ships are costly and not profitable if you are just going to use them to get slaves. I guess this slave faction probably are funded from a faction opposed to the royal family but because it isn't mentioned in the story it doesn't count because the reader/listeners of the story aren't meant to guess these kind of details. Just add a few more minutes to explain this and it would been good.

Such a great story. But slave traders putting the children in danger AFTER they went back to rule their kingdom. I stopped right there. Whoever wrote this stopped any kind of critical thinking at this point. Sorry but next time try to a little harder to make the story make as much sense as it had up to this point.
This is a great story, but it is also ABSURD! How does he KNOW the girls are the only survivors? He left that absolute TREASURE TROVE of the alien ship, without even a glance. He feeds the girls HUMAN food without any idea of their body chemistry ... and all this in just the first TEN minutes. This story is so full of holes it makes Swiss cheese look as dense as Osmium! Thankfully, the rest of the story makes up for the terrible beginning! }:-)
