Valvetronic Exhaust Info
Welcome to the Valvetronic Designs cat-back exhaust system for the F8x platform, or in other words, the solution to the F8x sound problem. For years enthusiasts have wanted to find a solution to the buzzy and raspy sound these cars produce from the factory. Since these cars were released back in the late portions of 2014 we all knew there is world class sound lying under all the rasp. Our mission has been to find this hidden sound and allow all F8x owners to enjoy it. This full catback is comprised of a 2.75" equal length mid section with an H pipe configuration. After traveling through the H pipe the exhaust is combined into a 3.5-inch axle back. This combination helps smooth the exhaust tones to provide a very enjoyable sound through the entire rev range. When operating with the valves open, the exhaust gases exit unrestricted out of the passenger side exhaust tips. With the valves closed the exhaust passes through our quad chambered muffler and out of the drivers side exhaust tips for a lower volume experience, very well suited to daily driving and not alerting the Karens. This system mounts up to factory mounting points and is a direct bolt-on. No cutting or welding necessary. It's time to make the F8x sound like it always should have.
Sound Devlopments.
At Valvetronic Designs, we are chasing perfection and we believe this our equal-length exhaust setup is the sound solution for F8x owners. Traditionally equal length exhaust configuartion lowers the aggressive nature of the S55 engine. With this new design we have spent countless hours testing to ensure the raw aggressive sound is present through all rev ranges to give that emotion, but with the equal length configuration, allows for the sound to be very pleasurable rather than just loud. Owners coming from other non equal length setups will not feel short-changed in regards to this setups volume.

Sick that’s how that car should sound
Man those headlights n that diffuser , the whole setup is stunning
im about to order one for my 2017 c43 amg im hoping it sounds great
stainless steel is the way is you’re chasing sound on an s55, titanium makes a tinny sound that exacerbates the natural rasp of the s55
Do the exhaust tips matter? I’m looking to buy this and wanted same burnt titanium tips
I’m aware it comes in like grade 5 titanium and stainless for the system, but I was wondering if tips made any difference
@@illusionclan4384 i’m pretty sure the m4 cs has titanium tips but the sound isn’t effected too much
Sounds great man!!! What brand\type of High flow catted downpipes do you have and does it throw any codes?? Also are you able to pass inspection?? Im considering getting this setup but need to know first what im to expect. Final question can I get the same (similar) sound without having to do the downpipes?? Thanks
You can achieve a similar result with just the exhaust. But if you want full effect and have to pass inspections you can go high flow catted through Active Autowerke and be fine. No codes.
hey what’s the name of that diffuser?
Sounds insane! Do you have stock downpipes?
High flow catted
@@speedhaus405which brand
i wonder how this would sound on catless downpipes@@speedhaus405
Hello, I have a question for you. Did you buy the M4 GTS headlights in black or did you buy them in red and had them coated with black window film?
Bought the smoked ones from bayoptiks
@@speedhaus405 thank you
Wouldnt the titanium bring back some rasp vs the stainless? Or is it vice versa
