got a question... for dipping diesel if you got an 1994 dodge ram 1500 4x4 that has alot of issues with it like one the bed is got alot of rusted on it and well i thou of doing this to my dodge ram cause i was thinking about putting a flat-bed on it anyways so what would you reckamend on this one
Ima give you a tip if you’re gonna weld stuff like that you can use any welder but those harbor freight welders are junk you need a Lincoln or miller I use a miller 130 for stuff like that

I can run my ym2000 hard with a 5 foot bush hog for 8 to 10 hours on 5 gallons of fuel. Gas lawnmower would use over 20 gallons to cut the same thing and wouldn't even be able too. Well I guess if you cut it like 3x

I have not seen a conversion such as this before and I have always wanted a flatbed for my 1/2 ton. Current prices for these beds are in the thousands which I cannot justify for a 30 year old truck. BUT, you have an idea that looks promising, if not just unique. A quick suggestion, if you have not already finalized the welding of your gas tank door: why not just cut a small section out of the panel that you salvaged to shorten the length without sacrificing either the rounded end that you would like to keep (at the end next to the cab) and the other end that butts next to the wheel well (time frame at 10:20 of the video)? I look forward to seeing the final product, and I would not worry if it is not as "pretty" as you would like. I think there will be plenty of folks here that will offer suggestions how to improve its appearance. Good luck!
@@DippinDiesel you didn’t have much work going on in this video at all. It would be better if you showed all your work like in most diy videos. You would get more viewers that way. You may regret welding in those post holes, they would have made it easier to haul something with a slide in and out bed sides out of wood. To use just when you needed them. Good luck next time
@@DippinDiesel yeah, those cutting blades fly to bits real easy man. Dont let him use it without them, especially being inexperienced. Slice an eyeball like an axe through a tomatoe. I know a guy who had one of the 9 inch grinder blades break and it sliced him open across the gut, he had to run for help carrying his intestines..

What you should do is build a deck flush with the fenders and underneath the deck you could bild drawers that slide in and out
