Testing Laps Took an Interesting Turn // Electroplated Flat Laps

While the comparison testing between the diamond and resin laps didn't exactly go as planned, I was still able to learn some things from it. I also think that once I get my replacement 1200 grit lap, the process and be more properly tested.
That said, the higher grit diamond laps preformed really well and when finished on the carpet wheel with cerium oxide, the finish is great!
UPDATE: The 1200 grit lap was quickly replaced by Hi-Tech
The machine used here is the 8" Hi-Tech Flat Lap hitechdiamond....
