    Your criteria has a problem if your list is practically devoid of Tackles instead of overfilled with them. Generally speaking Guards and Centers (and I was a Center) are linemen who aren't talented enough to play Tackle. You can't treat Tackles like Guards and Centers, they face the defense's most athletic D-linemen often without help. To really be fair you should have a TOP 10 left tackles, Top 10 Right Tackle, Top 10 guards (right vs left guard isn't all that impactful usually), and Top 10 Centers.

    These lists are silly because they lump apples and oranges together. There's a huge difference between a center and a left tackle, and a left guard and a right tackle. It's the same with the one about backs -there's a major difference between fullbacks, halfbacks and tailbacks. Yes, some players excelled at more than one position (Bruce Matthews, John Riggins, Lenny Moore, Joe Klecko) but most don't. For any "best of" list to make sense it needs to be broken down by actual positions -not broad groupings.

    I'm sorry but this list makes no sense. Munoz who should be the best, Jeff Saturday? Art shell?

      Thanks for the feedback…Munoz at #12, Shell at #17 and Saturday isn’t in the HOF. Trying to take an unbiased approach using data to drive the list…O-Line is hard to quantify. 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching!

    Bob brown of the Eagles.

    • @thefootballguyusa7941
      @thefootballguyusa7941  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Brown came in at #35, mainly due to the fact that he only played in 126 total games - roughly 100 less than the average in the top 10. Thanks for watching!

      They’re on the list, just didn’t make the top 10 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching!

    Man, if your system eliminates guys like Hannah and Ogden, you’re doing it wrong.. Munoz too.. Shocking..
    That being said, Bruce Matthew’s is the GOAT, IMO..

      Well, I’ll admit my system isn’t perfect, but I’d argue that no system is…just trying to take the bias out top 10 lists. Offensive linemen are definitely sone of the hardest players to rank because there aren’t many stats to grab onto! Thanks for watching!

      I hear ya, but statistics do not tell the whole truth and never will, and voted on awards are the epitome of bias..
      Think about a guy like Walter Jones?.. Who’s better than that guy?.. Very few, if any.. And people hardly know who he is..

    Hard list to pick.

      Absolutely! Contrary to popular belief I’m not picking anyone. I just create the formula and see who pops up to #1! Thanks for watching!

    Anthony Muñoz better than most of those on your list and he's not on here? Sup?

    • @thefootballguyusa7941
      @thefootballguyusa7941  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Munoz came in at #12 mostly due to a lower games played. Had he played another year he would’ve ranked number 7. Thanks for watching!

      Sorry, he didn’t make the top 10…he came in ranked #21, he had a low number of games played at 167. Thanks for watching!
