Hello Larry! I have couple machines I want to rebuild and one that I have to change capacitor! Do you have to apply the heat shrink or cover coils/bobbins or you can also leave the winded wire exposed? I like the raw look of the wires
hi mate. you don't have to cover the coil wires but covering them makes them easier to clean and also helps prevent damage to the enamel coating on the wire itself. Just put clear heatshrink over the wire so you can see it, best of both worlds.
