      The Mastema You're a fucking nerd. Notice how Vinnie Paul is not impressed with Joe Satriani's playing? Neither am I. We play metal, not cheap, simple, awful tone blues licks. You must not know shit to say Vinnie Paul couldn't keep up with the garbage Joe Satriani plays. What a fuckin nerd you are.

    • @themastema1189
      @themastema1189 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      We? Who's we?! Is that multiple personality disorder or something'? Metal is not the only form of music you know? And there's nothing "simple" or "awful" in Satriani's music. But thanks Richie boy, for calling me a nerd, in terms of music oh yeah I am. Also in the future you're excused from commenting on musicians when you consider Satriani's music "cheap, simple, awful tone blues licks", thanks!

    • @Jellybeantiger
      @Jellybeantiger 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Mastema but if Vinnie took up guitar instead of drums,he would be as good as his bro,which is on the same level as Joe,Dimebag had incredible technique,hell Alex and Eddie swapped instruments but I feel Alex would have been a tremendous guitarist and vice versa,it’s just what you love most.
      Some of the greatest guitarists on the planet played drums first,Zappa,Dimeola all drummers first,don’t get the stereotype drummers cop by narcissists.

    My fav guitarists as a drummer are John McLaughlin and Steve Goodsall from Brand X ,they have technique but they also have a spirituality to their playing,also great tones especially the 70s output.

    There's a lot of online hate for the JCM 2000 TSL on the internet. After listening to Satriani play through it, I hate to tell the bashers but it's probably your playing and not the amp.

      Yeah, he should have spared the guy's feelings. Awwww..... Okay, drummers are gonna want to kill me now so... Q: How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb? A: 100 - 1 to change the bulb, and 99 to say they could have done it faster and with more feel... (I'm a guitarist! Yaaay!)

      My mouth dropped when I heard that! I thought it was really rude. Fuck modes; Vinnie plays music with 100% more feeling than Joe.

      It was very dicky from someone who represents himself as a humble guy.. I think that Joe actually sometimes fakes that humble persona, because he often talks about parts of music theory like he invented it. Pitch axis theory is not something new and it credits to Joe only, which is bullshit.

      Probably meant it as a joke... Or maybe he meant like "I'll spare you the jargon." or whatever.

      Bleargh Bleorgh very strange comment since he shares the same genes with dimebag who is arguably a better guitarist then Joe.
      Keep that drummer stereotype alive though lolz.

    Dime: Hell yea man
    Joe: huh?
    Dime: Watch this man I dig it
    Joe: what?
    Dime: Catch a pull

    I prefer Dimebag on guitar 🎸 and his personality just resonates. Love Vinnie too! The world is better off knowing Pantera walked and rocked this earth 🌍 Texas Pride!

    I like to imagine that before the camera started rolling Vinnie's shirt was buttoned all the way up and as the blues licks got sexier he'd undo one after the other XD
