- After a several month stay in the USA, we are finally back home in Kenya! It feels so good to be home. We missed George so much and now we are reunited. ♥️
In this video you’ll see us travel from Vegas to Nairobi.. it was a very hectic trip because of a last minute flight cancellation.

Welcome back to Jamuhuri! Actually, what happened to the dreadful Alaskan airline plane was after 7 minutes of take off from Portland Int. Airport in Oregon at 16000ft the emergency door burst open but luckily due to height not being high enough the air pressure out was not much different from inside so the seats nearby weren't sucked out. No casualties were reported but the plane made a turn around and made an emergency landing. I don't want to imagine the noise and how terrified the passengers were. It happened at 5pm and I just landed same airport at 6:19pm but ofcourse had no clue what had gone on until the following day on TV. Anyway welcome back home guys!!

Wow! How awesome!! Interesting that I have watched your video, then to see you and kids in the same place. I absolutely feel you because it was me and my son running track at Heathrow from AA to British Airways flight for Nairobi. We are still dealing with jet lag as well, after along road trip to Kisumu on a rainy day. Anyway, you and George have amazing family.

Hey Makenzie, have you considered traveling KQ? You could travel Las Vegas,JFK - NBO. We have come to love that direct flight from JFK to NBO non- stop. It's a long 13-hour flight, but at least you know there are no stop overs, so you don't lose your luggage along the way or fear of connecting.
