- It's been a while since I've done a specific language video! Today we look at Spanish with JangMin. Since my parents also speak Spanish I really wanted to do this video. I hope you guys enjoy!

Spanish is a beautiful language! When I was a kid I knew some words in spanish, I could understand almost every single song and tv shows/novels but now I did forget almost everything, I wish that in the future I will be able to speak spanish fluently, I'm actually working on my spanish listening to the songs that I liked on my childhood and I'm improving already. If you google 'latin america map' it's almost impossible to find a picture without Brasil, unfortunately. Next time If I have a subject on Spanish speaking Latin America, I'll be more careful :)

Brazil is the only country of Latin America that speaks Portuguese, don't worry about Dave, we forget you about it and you should call brazilian people to learn some brazilian portuguese as in this video and at pronunciations too, i am pretty sure that will be really fun xD
Most of the words are familiar to me even if I'm not Spanish. I'm a Filipino, though. A lot of Filipino words are from Spanish. ☺

@@jeyabbasov7577 I think they're talking about the similarities between Spanish and Tagalog bc of the Spanish invasion in the Philippines. For years during the invasion the Philippines spoke Spanish and it got it's independence but today the language still has quite a lot of Spanish mixed in.

"cara" means "face" while "anchoa" is "anchovy" (or something like that, it's a fish).
idk what it means as a slang since I'm not from Spain (and we don't use that expression in my country), but I guess it's an offense.
GIVE RED VELVET FANS A NAME it's an insult that became popular here in spain, like a meme, because a youtuber made a video insulting random people and one of them slapped him because he called that one cara anchoa.
"Caranchoa", "bocachancla" (boca-mouth/ chancla-flipflops), "abrazafarola" (abraza -hugger / farola - streetlight)... We have many words like this.

I'm Brazilian but i swear for god i can't understand nothing about spanish. not even one single words besides the basic. i have no problems with english since I've been speaking for years but spanish is just a language i can't swallow

Lucía Meester. You can't believe how we speak fast lol it's hard even for us Brazilians. For example with you are talking with a bus driver, barely you will understand a thing because they are always in a hurry or with you speak with someone from the country inside. It is hard But to you i recommend watch a channel on youtube called "small advantage" it is a channel from a american that learned by himself Brazilian portuguese. He has videos in portuguese and also english and teach a lot of great things to both languages!
