I have been trying to do the FEM assignment but I got an error will submitting the work “number of solution-dependent state variable can not be set equal to zero” So when I googled the problem it said to put some value of the material under depvar ). I put the value 2 and 1 respectively But when I submit it for analysis the error is gone but the status of the job is stuck on “running” for more than 1-2 hours. What should I put the value of these variables can you help me?
It looks nice, but there are serious issues. You mentioned using the SI system (meter, second, Newton, Pascal). However, the feed rate (velocity of the drill) is 0.09 m/s, which is too big. This is not physically realistic (that is 5400 mm per minute). That's why the cutting forces are too high. The rigid drill penetrates material easily and seems to generate chip. If you make the experiment, you will break the drill bit.
The video is an explanation of how to do the simulation. You can replace the values with the appropriate values in your case. I think this is very clear. The goal of the video is only to clarify the simulation method.
@@Abaqus_basic I already did with proper data (given in the literature) and experimental results. The forfe results are quite far away (around 10 times larger) and no chip in the simulation. Thinking what is wrong or missing...
I did the same as this video but not running. Other videos are the same. And I found that they are selling the full model in 10$. There are lots of missing of intended wrong inputs, I assume.@@O.isbilir
Drilling Composite Laminates tutorial please 🙏
can u specify what feed and rpm have u given in this video
sahit ould bladi,
do you have documentation on how to model a cross laminated shear wall subjected to a lateral load please ?
why i can't log in with my email to download the cad file?! please make it simply, thanks
nice work. how to deal annular cutter (core drill) problems

What did you put the value of “number of solution-dependent state variable can not be set equal to zero” error?
