    Where can I find course on parametric progarmming you have mentioned in the viedeo?

    Certainly much more straight forward than the Fanuc way.

    Weird question i guess.. But dealing with the whole getting a probe working i realize i dont have a Probe on M command.. - can you make your own M commands? In either one of the many GUD or SGUD files and such?? Ive been digging thru the PLC program but cannot really find a definition of the M codes in there either..

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      to the GUD question to the best of my knowledge you cannot. and the builder is going to set them in the PLC

      @@MrCNC seem then using the UGUD file and define it as a custom cycle, using the CUST_MEACYC(3) is my best bet then..
      Cuz i cannot find any M codes in the PLC dump tbh - or i just cannot read.. whatever code that is supposed to be. :D

    Re the camera with coolant chips, use an Air Knife to blow the drips away.

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tried that in the past with mixed results - might be time to test it again. Thanks!

    Does this work on the 808D advanced controller?

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not done this on a 808D advanced yet, however the probing functionality is available with the 808D advanced and, at least, the function manual lists several of the same dedicated commands used in this video. I will update, if I get a chance to run these on a 808!

      @@MrCNC that would be fantastic if you could. There’s quite a few guys buying Syil X7 mills with Siemens 808D controllers, so this would be very useful for us.
