Since it's my first time directing the action genre, I think I'm lacking a lot

For the folks that are strangers to this game, they are using actual guns to shoot each other and not bb guns hence the loud gun sound. And no, they don't die due to their special halo above their head that render them near invulnerability. However, they will still get knocked out if being shot at too much. They will still die if being put under extreme condition like being shot at way too much, burned, drowned, suffocated, nuked, etc...
So everyone in the animation was not dead, they all just knocked?
@@Angsty-Art235 Ye precisely. Hence why the nurse at the end shot one of the bad guys (or gal in this case) to knock her out. It's in her policy that if they are not out, she will not bring them to the medical facility. Out of kindness, as weird as it is in context, she shot her.
Another thing to note is that apparently in this world everyone still feels pain, hence why it appears the people still have fear.
Actually, if I remember correctly, a person needs a weapon specifically designed to destroy the halo. If not. Then they'll just not kill them. Everything you've mentioned will do insane amounts of damage. But it can be healed away in due time. It's also like 23 something something. How do I know? One of the characters said they found a medical book that was made 500 years ago. Eh. Just a guess. This information might be completely false. So take it as you wish.

John grows so much as a character as the chapters go by and the interaction with his students are so wholesome. It shows the best of him as a person.

as animator my self, this pretty average, its pretty much 80% motion and 20% effects, if i have to include the Script writing,
@1_jtfky As a RWBY fan, can confirm. I've seen RWBY animations that's so good and fluid that it looks like they belong in the show or sometimes better than it.

I thought this was a shorter animation scene around 1 minute, but its longer than I expected! It seems like you putted a lot of effort into this
Btw there is some remark I want to leave, since I find some scene is not sastisfying enough:
+ the kick performed around 0:42 was excellence, but helmet mob seems a bit too calm, you can fill in that awkward moment with the mob being panic and trying to guard
+ how the body fell down was accurate to real life, but thats only when the bullets are penetrating through the body (and it is not true to kivotos students), I imagined that when the bullet doesn't pierce through flesh it hits with stronger impact. The scene when shiroko pin a mob down and unload the whole pistol mag is kinda unimpressive for this reason, the bullet should hit like a bouncy ball or a baseball bat in this case, and shots to the head should throw running mobs out of balance more instead of them fainting down, and remember to add some sparkle of deflected bullet sometimes since people might misunderstand.
+ running animation is a bit stiff at the heel, bet you've noticed that already
Beside from those, I think you've nailed pretty much everything else, choreograph, camera angle, enivronment, sound fx (the music were on point), you deserve more appreciation!
@estroaye Thank you for your feedback on this video. I think the 1st and 3rd advice was caused by my lack of experience. I'll study more about this.
But the second tip is to agree, but I don't know if I got it right. Do I just understand that "Kibotos students are more suited to bounce flexibly than to have bullets through their bodies"?
@@MolluSensei I'm sorry in advance because my english is not that good either. You got half of it already, what I meant was "bullets usually don't pierce through kivotos students" => "it has stronger impact" => "students don't just faint or collapse when being hit, they get knocked out by impact, not because of their vitals being destroyed"
@@estroaye I apologize in advance for not having good English skills either. I can't say I understand it perfectly, but I think I understand it a little more.
The part you mentioned seems to be seen in the difference between the animation I made and the official animation. In the battle scene with Mob in the official animation, there were a lot of opinions that it was less strange because it was made to make it feel sick without fainting even if it was shot. However, I expressed my fainting by making Halo disappear, and I think this was effective.
