      @@theos.masule4910 oh fantastic! Thanks for commenting. When we met I was on a commercial shoot so I unfortunately can't make behind-the-scenes videos. This trip was a month before we met

    I was wondering about the lens you had for the previous trips: Did the client supply that, or did you rent it, or how did it work? Bye the way I have a tip/request for you: Your videos often end with beautiful footage, but then the TH-cam end card and subscription pops up while people are still enjoying that. What some channels do is to extend the video a bit with a still or black screen, so the end cards don't obstruct anything important.

      @@overlandersa thanks for the tip. Very much appreciate that you watch till the end. I usually use my own Canon 200-400mm lens but this year I was filming quite a lot for a client and I used their Canon CN20X50. I am now back in Chobe, and after using the CN20 my 200-400 feels too restricted, so I'm trying out a Sigma 60-600.

    I love your videos. So much fun to watch. I am going to Chobe National Park in May of 2025. I have been to Africa 4 times but this will be my first trip to Botswana. What settings do you use for slow motion? Safe travels. Bob

      @@robertsafay1009 thanks bob. I don't like to shoot at less than 4K, so the best I can get is 4K 240fps. I often push the shutter to 360 degrees when shooting slowmo.

      Thank you for your response. After watching your great videos, I am really looking forward to exploring the Chobe NP. I love that filming door you built. In September I plan on visiting and filming at Yellowstone, Tetons and Badlands National Parks in western US. Keep those videos coming. Bob

    Another great video and great wildlife shots... Ja... my issue as well... I would love to get a better lens... better trailer... more time for trips... and the list goes on 😢. But still you make awesome videos, they are quirky with great interactions between you two.

    Great video. I have heard their have been disturbing incidents at Ihaha in regard to thefts from vehicles etc. Has security been improved ?

      @MovingPicturesAfrica  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@richardtustin thank you. Yes, security is an issue occasionally at Ihaha. If you lock everything away in your vehicle at night you should be fine, but it is not nice to have to worry about theft. I do mention this in a later episode

    What is required to get an off road permit for filmmakers in Chobe?

    • @MovingPicturesAfrica
      @MovingPicturesAfrica  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fuzzypigproductions it's a process. You need to be either a researcher or filmmaker or photographer. You apply with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism permits office. It can take a while to get approved. Then you pay a bunch of money for the main permit. Then for each trip you need to apply for a supplementary permit from DWNP and on that application you can ask for off-road permission.
