Denise, your GO box is like Mary Poppins satchel! You just kept pulling items out! Terrific! I like the Hi-Bounce Pinky ball best. Someone with no time to pack for OCC could just order that ball in bulk as filler. It can go into any GO box! I send filler for the older children. I like checkers, dominoes, and a deck of regular playing cards. All can be found at Dollar Tree. These games can still be enjoyed even as the children become adults! Years of fun! I totally agree with the Pinky ball! I wish they had these as filler at the processing center! Great for all ages and such great quality! Great choices of filler for the older kids! All of those toys can be enjoyed right into adulthood! Thank you for sending filler! What a blessing you are providing to those needed boxes!
@@drogers I happened to see that Pinky ball at Lowe's! They were in a tiny toy section right by the restroom doors. I got six. I am keeping one or two to play with! I think they were $3 each. I'm so pleased with them!
We try to make sure every box has age appropriate school supplies. We rarely send clothes, but have sent shirts and sandals . This year every box will get a pair of socks. We include some type of stuffed animal as well. This year we had a lot of fidget toys donated and marble sets as well. Each box will get a harmonica and a yo-yo. Each box also gets a washcloth and toothbrush as well. Usually a bar of soap but skipping them this year as soap is being phased out. I have purchased several coloring books and maze books as well. Also we have several baby dolls for the little girls. Water bottles for each box as well. Oh yes a lady at church donated a box of bouncy balls for our shoeboxes as well. Her place of employment throws toy items away after Christmas so she has for two years now asked to have them and donates to our boxes. She’s also where most of our fidget toys came from as well as small stuffies! We have a lot more things for our boxes this year as we are trying to make sure each box is well filled better than in past years. Plus trying to add more toys and musical instruments as well! Plus this year adding cross necklaces and Jesus loves you wrist bands. I know there are other items I’m forgetting, but no need to list everything. Just know that watching you, Byrd feed, Christy , and others TH-cam videos has inspired us to do more and better packed boxes! I have learned so much from you ladies and I thank you for doing these videos! God Bless each and every one of you for being willing to teach others by example! ❤❤❤❤❤

@@drogers yes, I’ve learned so much from you ladies. We used to pack mostly school supplies, stuffies, baby dolls for girls small balls for boys and winter hats and gloves. But there was always extra space that didn’t get filled. Now we are trying to make sure our boxes aren’t just practical, but full of fun as well! I agree about packing 2-4 boy boxes, and 2-4 girls. They are of my favorites to pack. They are so cute, so fun, so easy to find merchandise for, and the most economical to pack. I don’t understand why more people don’t pack them. This box is SUPER-DUPER! You definitely have plenty of toys in this one and he will absolutely love his outfit. That shirt is the cutest for a little boy! I don’t know any little kid who doesn’t love new clothes just about as much as new toys. Great job on the SuperPets theme. Love how you superheroed up his stuffy to fit the theme. How clever to use a pet outfit! TFS another cute one for another cutie 💙

Love the box! I think it is good to remember that art supplies and craft kits count as toys, especially for the older boys! I think lots of boxes for girls include crafty things but as a middle school teacher, I will say that my male students also enjoy making friendship bracelets and learning cross stitch
Good point! And I usually do add art supplies to these age groups so I will keep this in mind. It's much easier to pack more toys for the 2-4's and 5-9's than the 10-14's so I do think art kits and supplies should count. Thanks for watching!

I didn't count the coloring book but, it is actually a toy too. It was a nice full box full of fun things to do. They will love it. You put so much love in your boxes. I can tell you really care about the child who receives it. I been getting a lot of sale stuff also. When you pack your boxes you fill them & full. So now everyone watching you will do the same. So know that you don't do all of that work for nothing. I appreciate you teaching all of us. How to pack, what to pack. Lot's of toy's. Fill it up until no more goes in. We are so lucky to have you giving us idea's. Also showing us. Plus up dating us on all of the deals out there. A big Thank you.
I think the reason for not packing more 2-4 yr. boys and girls boxes is if a child only receives one box in their life the 5-9 and 10-14 yr. girls and boys need the boxes more for school and may be able to pass some of the clothes, shoes and toys to their younger siblings. Also remember if the toy fits through a toilet paper tube it is a choking hazard.
Thanks Deborah for your insight! Yes, this is true and might be the reason for the shortage. But there is still a need for more boxes for this age for distributions. When they are short, this age group will end up getting a box for an older child. Also remember when you send a box to this age, you are also reaching the parents and caregivers! Spreading the Gospel even wider! I have heard back from many parents and caregivers of the toddlers who have recieved my boxes and their hearts are touched1 They too want to learn more about Jesus as a result! Thank you for the insight. I am glad to know you get feedback from this age group. Our church is not packing any 2-4 yr boxes this year due to space but I have pack 14 boxes myself for this age group. 7 boys and 7 girls. I am 70yrs. old and I feel this is God's way to let me help in His kingdom!

I enjoy packing for the 2-4 year olds with lots of toys. I have a 3 year old daughter so it’s fun to pack items she likes 🥰

I was wondering do whole family's get these or just one child out of the family
One child. I have seen sometimes where a child will share with siblings though but the intention is for one child. Hope that helps!
