I’m 18 years old and recently made a video about starting to loose my hair so young. I wanted to reach out to some other people in my position. It’s been a really tough thing to get my head around but your videos help me to realise my best days aren’t behind me and whatever happens to my hair it’s only the beginning. Would love it if you could give it a watch. Particularly the end 🙏
When I first noticed my hair loss, I figured that I’d one day get a transplant or maybe even a system (if it ever got that bad). I just couldn’t imagine being bald and never thought I’d actually have the courage to shave it. But then Quarantine in 2020 happened. Like a lot of guys, I used the opportunity of being stuck inside to buzz it (as it had got quite long). I found your channel when searching for tips on how to do that. I was surprised how good the buzz looked….until it started growing back in. I couldn’t believe how much I had diffused on top and how visible the horseshoe was becoming. My longer hair + the way it was styled was hiding it. I panicked and decided to let it grow out to hide the thinning again, but it wasn’t the same. I felt even more self conscious than before, because I knew that I was absolutely going bald and I felt like everyone noticed it. I buzzed it again (without a guard) last spring and rocked that look for the rest of year. I’m always watching your videos and that made me start considering actually shaving it. So, this past January, I did just that. I finally shaved it. There’s no doubt that I’m a bald guy now…and I’m actually happy about it; I still can’t believe how good I feel after a fresh shave. Shaving it off was the best thing that I ever did. Your content is always so positive, encouraging and genuine, it has made accepting and embracing my hair loss far less scary. I’m confidently rocking a bald head now and I owe that to you. Thank you, Harry.
Profile pic looking good mate. If you grow a beard and put some aviator glasses on it’s a cool masculine look. 😎 You ain’t a ugly guy so there is absolutely no reason to be not confident. Think of people like Bruce Willis, the Rock or Jeff Bezos, confidence is everything. If you even want to elevate yourself to the next level go hit the gym, get fit and walk down the streets like a badass. 💪🏽😎
Harry I love how this channel has evolved over the years to not just being about embracing balding but also you completely understand people who opt for medical intervention or a system. We are all fighting hair loss and this a great space to just come and talk about it and see different options.
Shaving the head for first time feels alot like pushing past a fear of not knowing what your head looks like and afraid its going to look awkward. Breaking fears helps push in life and can lead to trying new things. Embracing the change, be it shaving or adding hair, and feeling good is what matters. Its good to see different outlets people have besides shaving if they feel the need.
Loved the message at the end. I'm currently growing my hair out to try a hair system after being bald for years. Honestly I hate how my hair looks kinda "half grown out" I hate how insecure that shit makes me feel.
Hell yeah I wore a wig for most of last year until it grew out to where I was comfortable. I highly recommend it, it’s cheaper than a day snowboarding lmao
I have just watched your videos for the first time and you have gave me the courage to just just shave it all off and just embrace the bald head. hair loss for me being a 21 year old is very hard in today’s world cause you try to fit and look how all others look and it just keeps making u think about my hair and only my hair it controls me tbh i where a hat every where i go all times of the day even home i’m not confident to not wear a hat but from this day on i’m just embrace it u have gave me the words i needed to hear. hair loss is a big thing so so many young guys like me and just shaving it off gives such relief it’s like i don’t worry about it anymore thank u for what your doing my man it gives me the confidence i needed also the big beard works haha if u got a beard it just makes u look even better keep doing you andkeep posting.
Points you made in this vid are amazing, and so important. Everyone should be able to take the route they want with hair loss but the key is to feel comfortable and confident in what you do! Truly love the mission you have set out to share.
Luv the fact that ur not one sided on this balding stuff .,...pretty much whatever makes u happy stuff👍...& U enjoy watching other options for balding men
Wow, I never thought you could do a weave like this with microbundles, but that is EXACTLY what this is. Each microbundle is glued in, but it takes a long time to melt that glue out...for women it is major pain. Meanwhile... my 22 year old son is FINALLY buzzing his hair, I bought a brand new set of Conair clippers last night, and his Dad is doing it right now for the first time for him. Fingers crossed, Harry!
Great vlog Harry! My one caveat (which you have already addressed) is if you choose this then have fun with it! But most importantly own it!!!! If you are worried that someone is going find out that you are bald/balding then it destroys the whole point of this viking concept appearance (which I might add I really like). Embrace this and enjoy it the same way you would rocking the shaved look and your self esteem will sky rocket. Thanks for sharing!
yes me too, also I think that if you are already prone to hair loss you should never have manbuns or braids, that will just worsen things quicker, I tell it from experience, last year I had very long hair and I literally had a manbun 24/7, and then I cut all my hair short and I saw some old pics and i noticed that my hairline was fuller and I was like wtf and took a pic to compare it and it looks thinner and it's a little higher, it happens man
love your videos and how you dont shy away from the truth of the matter. It's really helping to normalize it in my opinion. I think you are really helping a lot of people, cheers man!
That’s really cool. I’m a metal head and miss my thick long hair and Mohawk soooo much. I think that’s why I can’t shave my long beard off (nip length now) haha. lol it’s all I’ve got to rock now. Long beard and everyday beanies and hats….. I absolutely love your channel my friend. It helps me not go into a really rough day anymore or as much on my one day a week or two weeks max head buzz.
There's the serious question of self expression. Simply put, hair changes your look entirely, and you might want to and DREAM to express yourself in a certain way that's totally impossible without hair. Also there's the issue that men are 100% mocked and called horrible names for having a bald or shaved head. That's happened to me. The reality is, sometimes hair in just necessary. I shaved my head twice. Both times I absolutely hated it. Worse than that, I then got called horrible things because I shaved it of, which made me feel even worse. That's NOT insecurity, that's the pain of rejection and the anxiety of knowing people actually DO NOT like they way you look.
Thanks you for showing this video because what you are doing is changing how we think about hair loss in a different way like having a shaved head or long hair it up to us what we want not what everybody wants and keep up the good work 👍🏻
Been losing my hair for years now, and it's come to a point of no return... Gonna get with the mates crack a cold one and get it done. At the moment i can't walk past a mirror without looking at my M looking head. And i'm 25... Thanks for all your vids! Helps me alot!
This is so cool! I love that you’re open to different kinds of things like this. I agree totally. Have fun with it. Don’t use it as a way of hiding. 💯💯👏👏
Balding is so terrifying at the beginning. I'm 17 Years of age, nobody besides my grandpa [not even my great uncle so the brother of my grandpa is bald] my grandpa is also very small a head smaller than me, after i lost around 30 Kgs because of anorexia [or more/less i forgot ] my hair started to thin out at the age of 16 SO RAPIDLY, not in a year, NO in a matter of 1 single month my hair changed it's color from dark brown to almost blond like color, my hair thinned out so bad that in one month the hair i used.to have to hide my face with able to see it through, it's like transparent hair lmao. The Trauma which friends and my Ex[breakup] have caused just made it more worse. My hair on my hairline is completely blond white and very thin almost use less. That all actually caused Telogen effluvium and i'm still worried because of my grandpa's genes [fathers side] but my dad did not gone bald he has thicker hair and a better hairline than me. I started to use biotin, stopped anorexia, consume iron, folic acid, magnesium, almost all vitamins out there and it has been 4 Months and my hair went from the 25% thickness to 70%. My hairline did not improve that much sadly but the blond/white thin hair some of them on my hairline started to turn dark brown and to grow again. So wish me luck for the other months. I'm now 17 years old almost 18 and my hair thinning stopped at around when i stopped anorexia when i turned 17. Has gotten better and hope to have my old hair again. Baldcafe you're amazing and i was actually considering to just shave my hair all off but you also said maybe it's because of a health issue that is causing the balding in some of you videos so i just waited and yes i guess its almost a success now. To everyone who are balding because of genes, you have my biggest respect ever and i think you guys have more balls and courage than many others.
Honestly, I can never imagine those insecurities since my head is full of hair for now, my mom still massages my hair with amla and coconut oil, inspite of all nagging and I have never cared about hair up until now thanks to her, I came upon this video. I do have an option tho, as my father has been shaving his head at the front and leaving all hair long on the rest scalp behind his ears, to be knotted in a Shikha. Thanks man, I agree with you, either accept it by shaving it off or choose being a weirdo. It's all in your head, man. Just let it go!
I love your channel - when you started losing your hair - did you ever go through a ‘ I’ve got to get hair transplants stage ‘ before you attained bald enlightenment:) ?
I have concerns about the maintenance and how long it stays on your hear/head. Hair systems in general don't take extremely long to maintain (I don't have one, this is just from the things I read) and you don't need to constantly visit saloons. I don't know if you can maintain this on your own.
I think it would be roughly similar. You might squeeze out a month with this long style before it needed adjusting? But I couldn't tell from the vids really. Just speculating.
@@unclechaelsneckvein I still don't see why that would really, really matter. As for admitting, you might as well as an anonymous. In real life, let's be honest, that would defy the entire purpose of it.
@@let0atreides I wouldn't go around announcing it to folks, but I think I'd be 100% confident with wearing one and letting people know if it's necessary, or for any other reason (girlfriend should probably know about it). That actually pretty amazing . I would try it as a experiment for a few months only bummer is I'm more of a receding hairline kinda bald so it would look weird I assume. If I had the money rather get SMP done .
With this method of attaching hair to the hair that’s left, is it human hair that’s being attached? And you shower with it etc? How long does it stay in and does it hurt to be attached to the roots?
A couple of ex girlfriends used to have this done. But each time it pulls out more hair and when they have them taken out they have clumps of hair missing. So that needs to be considered, especially for men as our hair isn’t as strong up top. Be interesting for you to try it bro, but I think you will hate it.
is he clipping the hair system to existing hair? i heard clips are not ideal for an active lifestyle. that adhesive is more ideal is very active. although u say the opposite, so now i’m unsure
i think it'd make for interesting content if you tried something like this--or a hair system--to help dispel the stigma around it (why are hair transplants and medical treatments accepted but hair systems considered a joke?) and to also see how feasible they are as options for balding men.
Totally agree with the message in the vid. Embrace the baldness, and if you like to try anything, that's cool but be open about it Tell your friends if they ask... or a future girlfriend! Really there's no shame in balding, and I was a long haired viking style guy, that started balding, and went the shaved look. 😀
Im bald for over 15 years. It started when I was a young man. I never was insecure about it and shaved it off right a way. I like the look very much but I’m getting kinda tired of it. I never had a hair system or anything like that and I’m just wondering how I would look with hair as a grown man with a beard, since I saw myself with hair as a teen the last time. I thought about a hair system but I dismissed the thought because I don’t want the trouble of gluing a carpet to my scalp. This method looks quite appealing to me.
@@Baldcafe 4 real man! Just for the fun of it, with the full information of how much it costs, the maintenance of it and so on. I'm happy with the shaved look, but I miss my long hair from my teenage years... And I think I could rock the man bun...😎 Cheers for the channel!
How is giving up and shaving it all off less gigachad? I’ve been fighting mpb for almost 20yrs now in my 40s and I’m still hanging in there! Finasteride early on stop hyper focusing on bs side effects and you’ll be good!…in my most humble opinion
Overall, the outcome is very impressive. My only problem with this hairstyle is that it only fits people with specific facial characteristics. Obviously, having decent facial hair helps here.
That's pretty badass. I do miss my long hair, always liked the idea of long hair and a huge beard. Duno if I'd feel weird rocking this though. Like a phony? Did you ever see when Karl Pilkington got a hairpiece man?
I did see that moment. It was nice. Long and short of all that stuff, it looks great but I just couldn’t be totally confident like that. Too many ifs buts and maybes and I could do the upkeep.
I had a trial version of this thing done, meaning they initially do a small bit of hair for free and then if youre good with it, they do the whole head. The problem is that this is basically a “comb over” using fake hair tied to your real hair. Even with the small number of hairs they attached, the hairs kept getting swept all over my head and looked silly because when that happens, very obvious something weird going on. Also, you cannot really comb the hair or wash it vigorously, because the fake hair will just break off. I’m sure the guy who did my hair was not as skilled as these guys, but really wasn’t an option for me.
I fear this is likely a common experience with this sort of thing. Even with a full head of hair you can never really recreate that “barbershop finish” 👍
im 38 had long hair all my life i have receding and balding on top. I see all you guys with facial hair well my facial hair also grows like shit lol. So what do you say to me. I don' thave a beard or want one for that matter to draw attention away from my head. Do i still just shave it???
So, basically, you're pulling on the baby hairs that are left with the weight of that wig hair. And we know that the baby hairs left are damaged from DHT thereby loosely held in. So not sure it’s a good idea or fun when it all sheds..
I have had shaved or very short hair for 10 years now. Would I go back to having fake hair no. I am a different person than I was in my 20's, 30's ect. Who I am today is part of the journey. You can't go back.
Men , most women would rather be with a man with a shaved head ,then one who's combing every which way to hide baldness or thinning hair, I now cut my hair short, in a military style (1/4 inch on top ,and 1/8 inch on back and sides, I'm 62 yrs old and my lady is 48 yrs old , she and other women telling Me frequently , my" hair cut looks better then my former " lack of hair hiding effort ".if a lady is criticizing your baldness or thin hair, maybe it's time for a new lady,"when in doubt,,,get the hair clippers.out ".
I liked your video very much, thank you.🙏🏻👍🏻

With this method of attaching hair to the hair that’s left, is it human hair that’s being attached? And you shower with it etc? How long does it stay in and does it hurt to be attached to the roots?
Since you've growing out your hair now, I would love to see you trying this on yourself and tell your experiences about it.
A couple of ex girlfriends used to have this done. But each time it pulls out more hair and when they have them taken out they have clumps of hair missing. So that needs to be considered, especially for men as our hair isn’t as strong up top. Be interesting for you to try it bro, but I think you will hate it.
Exactly - It puts a lot of stress on the natural hair.
is he clipping the hair system to existing hair? i heard clips are not ideal for an active lifestyle. that adhesive is more ideal is very active. although u say the opposite, so now i’m unsure
About how much do these go for and how often do you need to touch it up?
Hey there! This is a great video. Do you know what this method is called?
I’m afraid I don’t know the official term. I’d call it men’s hair extensions. Check out the guys insta though. I’m sure deeper details there
i think it'd make for interesting content if you tried something like this--or a hair system--to help dispel the stigma around it (why are hair transplants and medical treatments accepted but hair systems considered a joke?) and to also see how feasible they are as options for balding men.
If you were secure then you wouldn't be shaving it off
That's something amazing and would like to give it a try. May I please know what's the name of this process?
Where r you? I need this! In LA here?
Have you ever tried hair regrowth treatment?
you should get this done ✅😃
500k sun celebration?
This is something I actually have enough hair to easily do, I just wonder how much this would be and how often you would have to have it done
I’m receding on my temples if I grow it out will it look less obvious or better
I wish they offered it in the US
Thank you🙏
What are your thoughts on microneedling for hair regrowth?
What name of this method ??
I not gonna rest this until I find love 😬😬😬😬
What’s this guys page called ?
It's all fun and games until a strong wind appears
I've got long hair and I'm jealous of the transplant
Mate, I say you try it for the channel! Would be awesome!
A lot of people on board with you 😆 I’m tempted. I’d rather try this than the hair system I think.
@@Baldcafe 4 real man! Just for the fun of it, with the full information of how much it costs, the maintenance of it and so on. I'm happy with the shaved look, but I miss my long hair from my teenage years... And I think I could rock the man bun...😎 Cheers for the channel!
So where can I do this ? I am interested
Turkey
What is this method called ? do we have this in European countries too or only Turkey ? .. Pls answer ^^
How is giving up and shaving it all off less gigachad? I’ve been fighting mpb for almost 20yrs now in my 40s and I’m still hanging in there! Finasteride early on stop hyper focusing on bs side effects and you’ll be good!…in my most humble opinion
In the USA?
Is there any such facility available in India, Kolkata??
Where did you find that? It sounds interesting
Awesome to see your channel has come this far. I remember when you only had like 2k subs!
Thanks for supporting all way way man 🤝 forever grateful
I buzzed my hair down to a 3 guard, does that count as a shaved head?
I have high hairline with receding temples.
Who does this in the USA?
where do I find this service?
Be bald (or not!). And proud. Do what you want. Don’t hide
💯
Do it! You should get it done for kicks
woah didn't thought that's possible
Please try do this, will be great to see
Overall, the outcome is very impressive.
@@Baldcafe I thought it was interesting his wife hated it.
With how you have your hair today you could try this look
Very Good!
It’s curious about the cost.
I think extensions on very fine hair like that will compromise the hair its self … hair systems are a much healthier and better choice .
im 38 had long hair all my life i have receding and balding on top. I see all you guys with facial hair well my facial hair also grows like shit lol. So what do you say to me. I don' thave a beard or want one for that matter to draw attention away from my head. Do i still just shave it???
Does anyone know of someone who does this in Los Angeles?
Where did you find these videos
Instagram
So, basically, you're pulling on the baby hairs that are left with the weight of that wig hair.
And we know that the baby hairs left are damaged from DHT thereby loosely held in. So not sure it’s a good idea or fun when it all sheds..
What this process called anyone? I actually would consider this..
My scalp hurts watching this do. So tight knots
The Gareth Bale approach.
I was asked to do a video on Bale a few years ago.
There’s no history of balding in my family but I’d shave my head if it ever happens.
What actually is it? Haha! Looks great!!
I have had shaved or very short hair for 10 years now. Would I go back to having fake hair no. I am a different person than I was in my 20's, 30's ect. Who I am today is part of the journey. You can't go back.
You have to do this)(but this hairstyle can make a hairloss(sorry for my english😅))
this is called Keratin Bond Hair Extension.
Where is this?
Turkey 🇹🇷
That would be a great video to do this with.
What is the name of the technique?
I cut off my dreadlocks...i had trasplant 2 months ago....that s gave me hope😅
