one tip, if you need the weight capacity and the low level feature, with the column options, try a Gitzo systematic tripod!, this has a hole in the spider so a ball adaptor, column, or just a disc can be installed, use case dependent, and easily upgradable for your needs.
why no height markings. sometimes i think companies do dumb things just to make a version 2." lets leave out the markings so they have more reason to by the next series"
I agree it makes a lot of sense. Sadly I don't think ver 2 is coming anytime soon (not for the 645 at least - for the 635 - maybe, the open/lock mechanism needs some work in our opinion).
Manfrotto has a "quick release" system, similar to this. It's a hex stud on super-clamps (i.e. Manfrotto 208HEX 3/8-Inch Camera Mounting Platform Adapter). Sad, it's for super-clamps only.
But one thing I am still curious is the horizontal or vertical strength. So how stable it is when twisted. Because when you have the head on a hig resistance and the tripod is weak it can wabble when you do left to right. Would love to see that in the next videos
7:50 you can actually get the 645 fast to drop to 10 inches if you take off the spreader
Yeah but keep in mind that you need a half ball that will work with that.
Just ordered the 645 fast and 608 Nitrotech combo. Thanks for the review
Congrats and enjoy!
This is a superb and practical rerview. Covered all things
Brilliant review, very thorough.

Leg markings would be good 👍
A bubble level is on the head, not the legs in video tripods
Excellent video reviews and happy new year from a still Lockdown Ireland
Many thanks and happy new year! (may it be so much better than the previus one).
You are NOT supposed to spread the legs at 70 degrees with the legs fully stretched. You’ll break them 🤦♂️
You do realize that this is a demo right?
@@IddoGenuth I'm not following. Are you supposed to treat the demo differently?
@@StillPictureProduction Of course - we have shown all the possible combinations of angles and heights - you pick what you want to use.

;) - I can't say more at this point.
awesome review, love it
How tall does the 645 extend to
61.8" / 156.97 cm
@@IddoGenuth oh dang so about 5ft ok thank you
Thanks soooo much for the stability test. I was looking for something like that for so long. Keep doing it
Glad we could help (the heads review will also come soon).

@@l3yce583 I am not sure I follow, exactly what you mean, when does the aforementioned wabble supposedly occur?
Bro I you high? 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
