I enjoyed meeting you last Wednesday at Judy Kessinger’s class. It was a fun and informative class. I can not wait to try her patterns. I agree with you on the rest of the Expo. There were not many vendors and not much fabric. Lots of notions but I didn’t buy any. I plan to go to Houston in November to the International Quilt Festival. It is awesome! Judy K. once took my measurements and even though they've changed somewhat, I would still attend one of her classes. She is a great, funny lady when she's teaching. I order as many sewing supplies from Amazon, Waywak, and All-stitch and Hobby Lobby. When Joann’s put machine needles behind the counter it was the last straw. Now I only go there when I need something on a Sunday that I need now. I don’t even by the big 4 patterns any more.

So sorry you are going through so much with getting the RV fixed. Oh I hope one day I get to go to see Judy. I went to Joann today and picked up some cotton fabric. It was a quick in & out because we were running other errands. I got the neatest gadget. If you get a chance watch the video from J. stern about this cool gadget her father got for her. Also today she did a follow up on it. I love this thing. It keeps your fabric together while you sew.,is a seam guide, and helps with straight hems. I use maybe 2-3 pins to keep fabric together. No more numerous pins and no more stay stitching to keep fabric together. Hope you guys get home soon & Jerry can get his appointment over with great results.
@@Joy4650B watch the second follow up video. I wasn’t too impressed myself with the first way. My screw hole n my machine was too small. However in the follow up video she shows a completely different way to make it work. It works wonderfully.

I would love polyester however it doesn’t breathe and ever since the wonderful years of change (the m word) my internal thermostat broke and has never reset itself! I perspire profusely and with poly, it smells sooo horrible! So no poly for me, especially in summer!! 😖😢

I have a question-I’m just getting back into sewing after quite a few years of not sewing at all. You said you aren’t crazy about Joann’s. Could you state ‘why’? I’ve had an experience with Hobby Lobby fabrics that I don’t care to repeat. So where am I to buy fabrics? I’m in rural South Carolina and truly there are NO fabric shops anywhere near me. I have Joann’s and Hobby Lobby about 60 miles away in 3 different directions (all different cities) yes I’m in the middle of nowhere! Are you comfortable with buying fabrics online? I’ve ordered a few fabrics online and maybe I’ve been lucky, but so far the purchases have been ok-some not exactly as I expected but I can work with them. Have a great day!

Fabric Mart Fabrics has a wonderful presentation of each fabric. Lots of photos and always one with the fabric draped over a table. BEST WAY to see the size of prints. Tell them Joy sent you. Those people are obviously not business professional I would be checking to see if they're actually registered I'm sure they are unfortunately somehow but that is just not right I'm glad you chewed someone out

Joy, I googled NIRVC and see very positive info about their superior tech service. Do you make an appointment before you go there? Do you have their so-called concierge service or some kind of warranty? You & Gerry get such poor service nearly every time you go there. They sound like a terrible business -- or maybe just theTX location is bad. Only good thing is that there's a JoAnns and other interesting businesses for meals, etc.... Love your podcasts, even when you have to vent! Happy travels elsewhere....
The Dallas location has some bad reviews. We talk to the other owners. ALL of them are upset. Many are there for weeks or months. Yes, they brag on TH-cam how marvelous their service is, but it sure is not in Dallas.
Sorry that you're stuck with the Dallas location to cover your warranty! Glad you sent your letter to the owner. Texas is a good state to live in, so maybe they will get a new manager and enough knowledgeable service people to help you in the future. I laughed that Jerry wouldn't let you go into the office when you were so upset. Tough to balance your frustrations! Eventually things fall into perspective but when you need service, you need service and then can get on with other demands of life.

You should be giving all this to the Lord!! You must not know,,, your Rv is self-contained!!! It holds water also has a generator!!! Our allows us to dry dock for a week ,,, without plugging into anything!!! One night would not have killed y’all nor hurt the rv!!! Calm down! You’re gonna give all of us a heart attack!! Praying for calmness and knowledge.
I don't use the water in the tank except to clean with or do dishes with. The tanks are never clean EVEN if you clean them -- far from sanitary. We saw a tech describe it on TH-cam. Yes, we have a filter. Also, you are not supposed to run your generator at campgrounds because it is loud and bothers other people. In over 100 degree temps, we aren't living without AC. And you have NO IDEA what the place was like they had us at. It was practically on the highway and almost touching the coach next to us that nobody was in. They need to be able to give you the service they brag all the time about on TH-cam.
Dear Joy, I know, why you are having so much problems with your RV.....It has just too many electrical gadgets. Thats the problem of having too much money to spend. Sell this palace of luxury and buy a less fancier one. I think the lord would be pleased, if you buy two less fancier ones and just give one away. I bet your electrical problems will cease too. Problem solved, the family which gets the gifted one happy and one good star on your carma sheet for the lord, wouldnt that be nice? Well, that may seem like a good idea to you; however, there are RV's of every size in here. Many small. Some are just camper vans. Some are very cheap and some are millions of dollars. Repairs have nothing to do with the price of the vehicle. None of the repairs we are here for are electrical. I apologize if I wasn't clear on that.
Petara - I have to say I was little startled that you knew what was wrong with Joy and Jerry’s RV - especially as you are thousands of miles away. How do you know what would please the lord? J and G worked hard for years to earn their money and what they choose to spend it on is none of your business!

My father had several motor homes and great problems with them. About a year before he died he said if he ever got another rv it would be a 5th wheel.

I have worn this top many times in my videos. It is Pioneer Woman from Walmart. I paid $2.50 for it.
