The Vintage Battle Armor He-man had a place in my Heart too. It was the first He-man figure I got when I started collecting the Masters of The universe toys as a kid. I got into the line late. You couldn't find the main figures or the Regular He-man and Skeletor. A year later Mattel did limited special relaunch of the first two waves. So I got them all like, He-man, Skeletor, Stratos, Teela, Man at Arms, Faker and Beastman. I did as much as I can with removing parts. The Battle armor is its own buck. So I couldn't do anything with it aside the plate change. I leave all my classics in card. I do have some loose extras. The Shield is Unique.The design is from the vintage Dragon Walker sticker. I said Catsule greyskull flag. I meant to say the Walker. I still have a vintage one with the sticker. The Masterverse line of figures are really Getting better and more interesting with each release!✌️😁

I like him. Got him for 6.59 today at Target. The beard is something getting used to. It is the first time i ever had this version. I did have the vintage battle armor Skeletor. I miss the spring loaded mechanism where the chest armor changes 3 times after striking it. Wish they kept it. The accessories are nice. Along with the added armor pieces on his shoulder and the waist armor. Along with the added damaged changing chest plate. Which is a nice touch. Waiting until Christmas to open him.
Glad you also got this figure for that price at Target. Many sales going on as a mentioned in the last comment with Jitsu. The beard gives him a more aged look I guess. You can always change another He-man head. There are many different ones out now. I had a feeling they weren't gonna include the action features because of expensive tooling costs. The Origins Battle Armor He-man and Skeletor have that vintage action feature again. The Classics Battle Armor He-man and Skeletor also didn't have the spring effects. Only swappable chest plates as well.
They are definitely Putting out different Versions of He-man between the Masterverse and Origins line it seem. I like this new Version of Battle armor He-man for the Masterverse line. He is different but yet feels like a He-man figure in hand! Thanks for watching👍

Great review again. You always knock it out of the park with these MOTU Origins/Masterverse reviews because you show in great detail all the pros/cons of these figures. I think this figure is one of the best ones so far, so I'm really looking forward to getting it when it comes out at Walmart. The more I see these Masterverse New Eternia figures, the more I like them!

The Battle armor is all part of the buck so we couldn't do anything with that. Only Heads, accessories and Comparisons. I Think he is a really cool Version of Battle armor He-man in Masterverse style. Some Cons. But more Pros to me. I'm glad you like him. This is my pre-order too. I am not so sure about the hair, like the guy is in Portland, talking to me about the best single origin coffee, and why free-range vegetables are the best kind of vibe. LOL. Oh yeah! I know those kind of guys you are referring too. I met a few at the Health food stores over the years. Lol. We can also change out the Heads with other He-man or other figures that match close to the skin tone and can fit the pegs. I don't think many people what the He-man head with a Bun. Its looks better on Man at arms or Jitsu I Think. But we all have different tastes. Glad you like the figure overall and Thanks for Stopping in as always😁👌
I love he-man figures especially the vintage 1980's set. I collect he-man figures as well. But What's crazy is Mattel comes out with so many different he-man and the masters of the universe figures people actually buy all of them. No matter how nice or ugly they look. I love that kintaro and spawn in the background by the way.
Thanks for checking out the video! Yeah so many of love the He-man and the Masters of the Universe brand and figures. Those vintage figures were such a major inspiration as kids and now many of us want to chase that feeling again but with more Modern sculpts like the Classics or maybe something reminisent but yet newer like the Masterverse line. Then the Origins bring a whole new level of Nastalgia with the original Vintage designs but better articulation and sculpts. Many collectors get this drive were they have to collect them all even if there certain characters they don't like. I like many of them and only buy the figures I really want. I will walk away from something I don't like. Storm collectibles made the MK Kintaro. What an awesome figure. I played so many years of Mk 1, 2 and 3. I spent hundreds of hours in my teenager years on Mk 2 and loved fighting Kintaro👍

I think I still like the Viking He-Man that I bought last week but at least the armor isn't limited to protecting just the body. The shield looks weird to me as well. The only factor that prevents me to collect more of these He-Man figures in the near future for people like me living outside the US is the lack of retail support for the main character and online prices for these are getting higher than ever.
The Viking He-man is still really cool. The shield mimics the sticker on the vintage Dragon Walker Veichle. I said catsule greyskull flag. Not what I meant! Yes these figures are getting expensive and distribution Sucks all over. Even in the USA sometimes. I mportant many of them for a Mark up. Some sellers get some early in hand. Although this shield looks peculiar, but I believe is based from medieval times or Middle Ages type of shield... This shield looks OK but still it looks better with Frisbee/Captain America's round shield though.... Looking forward to see New Eternia, Battle Armor Skeletor looks like.... (Ya know, I have the feeling that if they release King Randor into New Eternia, they may made him into King Arthur like... Lol)

I wish it was easier to remove that bracer too. I was also hoping for a shiny armor like the vintage or classics. Don't know why the Both the origins and Masterverse is doing this with the Weapons, Armor and Shields. It's not terrible! But doesn't look as realistic like the art on the back. Painting one will definitely look cool👍

The Masterverse and new eternia line is was really a great idea to help bring core characters or reimagine them with a new look in an alternate universe or with a new back story. That's really cool you like collecting dolls and now interested in other figures like your son. Many people really like the Masters of the univese lines. So many figures to explore! Sounds like a QC issue. But Yeah it's kind of a waist. The Shield should of just had a handle or a piece it could snap into like the back holder and put on the waist so it wasn't so awkward.

Nice figure! I wish they had a sword holder in the back instead of a hole for that shield! ha ha And yes, the left arm brace with the shield is not my favorite either! And the shield has no straps on it to hold in hand. I do like the swapping of heads and weapons. That first custom head looked the best on the Battle Armor figure. :)

It's great how easy Heads can change out. I too liked that first head on the battle armor body. Greetings again. Seeing Masterverse Battle Armor He-Man is a pleasure. He looks good in that armor and he would be good customizing material. I look forward to painting his armor and his accessories down the line ... if or when I buy him, of course. The head sculpt is adequate, at least, since he still resembles the blonde muscle-head whom 80's kids know and love. I'm mostly concerned about whether or not I'll be able to paint blue shorts on his legs without too many problems since I don't want to have to take the figure apart too much to get the job done.
Hello again! Thanks for Stopping in to Check out the Review! I like the way they designed this Battle Armor He-man for the Masterverse line. The Head sculpt is kind of unique. You can always change different heads out that you might have available. I heard another comment about someone painting the Armor as well. It would have nice if the Armor was Shiny Metal like the vintage or classics instead of flat. But that seems to be the route the Origins and Masterverse is going with Metal looking Weapons and accessories. It might be tricky to paint those Shorts. But with skill and time you can do it. There are custom options for sure with this new He-man and Armor👍
@@Themanchlid I should be able to paint He-Man's shoulder pad with Teela's lipstick marks, at least. Sounds funny, but remember that they're official now and Teela would want to kiss He-Man good luck.

Look up Action figure dioramas backgrounds on Ebay or Amazon. I got a few different backgrounds. That one you see in my filming is called 3d Dungen Diorama backgrounds. I got it on ebay. It was expensive. Like 75 dollars. But it big. I didn't use all the walls or cardboard accessories.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one either. It might be the beard, even though the Classics King He-Man figure always looked cool. This design just looks sort of “meh” to me, depending on how he’s displayed. With the bearded face, he looks like a Roman gladiator; with the more traditional clean-shaven faces, he looks like a samurai. Either way, not really digging those “looks” for He-Man. Must be the armor…just not really a fan. He-Ro and Sun-Man definitely look to be the better figures in this wave.
I personally don't mind the New look. The Masterverse is trying something a little different. I wish the Armor was it's own thing and could be removed like the Classics. The head is unique. He does look like something between a Gladiator and Samurai. The good thing is we can change out heads easy with other He-man figures out there if you don't like this head. I'm really looking forward To The Sunman and He-Ro coming out soon in this wave👍
Have you collected The Bionic Man $6 million dollar by Kenner. I love their size and Mask a Tron had 3 face masks. The dolls look amazingly like the actors. Other day I found Oscar played by Richard Anderson. Austin a fan of Lee Majors.

If you know how to remove the Savage He-man belt and shorts with Hot water. You would have to do the same with this figure. Then put then back in hot water. Remove the internet leg joints and pull the short and belt up when the are soft from heat and work them in to the waist. I only did it once to a He-man figure. Very tricky and easy to rip.

It's the only place That Had Catra, Zodac, the 40th anniversary He-man and all the other new Eternia Figures we got. Ebay still dosent have them aside the Paulmart Seller has some up. Lol. The She-ra and Hordak had a different distribution Route to Malaysia first. So it takes time for Those Deluxe figures to come to the USA. Very Frustrating over toys. I have feeling we will see another wave of Origins and The Masterverse figures before the end of the years from my Calculations on how these lines seem to come out. January 2023 at the Lastest. I'm assuming that pig Head and Frosta will be part of that wave 7 Masterverse. The Origins Wave one Snakemen is also set for next year. But also think earlier because of all the figures and packaging images so far done. But time will tell. Lots of Cool stuff on the Horizon with Motu👌

The Vintage Battle Armor He-man had a place in my Heart too. It was the first He-man figure I got when I started collecting the Masters of The universe toys as a kid. I got into the line late. You couldn't find the main figures or the Regular He-man and Skeletor. A year later Mattel did limited special relaunch of the first two waves. So I got them all like, He-man, Skeletor, Stratos, Teela, Man at Arms, Faker and Beastman.
I did as much as I can with removing parts. The Battle armor is its own buck. So I couldn't do anything with it aside the plate change. I leave all my classics in card. I do have some loose extras. The Shield is Unique.The design is from the vintage Dragon Walker sticker. I said Catsule greyskull flag. I meant to say the Walker. I still have a vintage one with the sticker.
The Masterverse line of figures are really Getting better and more interesting with each release!✌️😁

I like him. Got him for 6.59 today at Target. The beard is something getting used to. It is the first time i ever had this version. I did have the vintage battle armor Skeletor. I miss the spring loaded mechanism where the chest armor changes 3 times after striking it. Wish they kept it. The accessories are nice. Along with the added armor pieces on his shoulder and the waist armor. Along with the added damaged changing chest plate. Which is a nice touch. Waiting until Christmas to open him.
Glad you also got this figure for that price at Target. Many sales going on as a mentioned in the last comment with Jitsu. The beard gives him a more aged look I guess. You can always change another He-man head. There are many different ones out now. I had a feeling they weren't gonna include the action features because of expensive tooling costs. The Origins Battle Armor He-man and Skeletor have that vintage action feature again. The Classics Battle Armor He-man and Skeletor also didn't have the spring effects. Only swappable chest plates as well.
Loving these figures you are showing. One figure more incredible than the other.

The left arm bracer (for the shield) is frustrating that it's fixed in place, when the shield is plugged in it limits posing. Otherwise I love him.

They are definitely Putting out different Versions of He-man between the Masterverse and Origins line it seem. I like this new Version of Battle armor He-man for the Masterverse line. He is different but yet feels like a He-man figure in hand! Thanks for watching👍

Great review again. You always knock it out of the park with these MOTU Origins/Masterverse reviews because you show in great detail all the pros/cons of these figures. I think this figure is one of the best ones so far, so I'm really looking forward to getting it when it comes out at Walmart. The more I see these Masterverse New Eternia figures, the more I like them!

The Battle armor is all part of the buck so we couldn't do anything with that. Only Heads, accessories and Comparisons. This is my pre-order too. I am not so sure about the hair, like the guy is in Portland, talking to me about the best single origin coffee, and why free-range vegetables are the best kind of vibe. I am not sure. He needs a man-bun and maybe we can trust him! He looks great, but we need him in a man-bum... 🙂

We can also change out the Heads with other He-man or other figures that match close to the skin tone and can fit the pegs. I don't think many people what the He-man head with a Bun. Its looks better on Man at arms or Jitsu I Think. But we all have different tastes. Glad you like the figure overall and Thanks for Stopping in as always😁👌
I love he-man figures especially the vintage 1980's set. I collect he-man figures as well. But What's crazy is Mattel comes out with so many different he-man and the masters of the universe figures people actually buy all of them. No matter how nice or ugly they look. I love that kintaro and spawn in the background by the way.
Thanks for checking out the video! Yeah so many of love the He-man and the Masters of the Universe brand and figures. Those vintage figures were such a major inspiration as kids and now many of us want to chase that feeling again but with more Modern sculpts like the Classics or maybe something reminisent but yet newer like the Masterverse line. Then the Origins bring a whole new level of Nastalgia with the original Vintage designs but better articulation and sculpts. Many collectors get this drive were they have to collect them all even if there certain characters they don't like. I like many of them and only buy the figures I really want. I will walk away from something I don't like. Storm collectibles made the MK Kintaro. What an awesome figure. I played so many years of Mk 1, 2 and 3. I spent hundreds of hours in my teenager years on Mk 2 and loved fighting Kintaro👍

I think I still like the Viking He-Man that I bought last week but at least the armor isn't limited to protecting just the body. The shield looks weird to me as well. The only factor that prevents me to collect more of these He-Man figures in the near future for people like me living outside the US is the lack of retail support for the main character and online prices for these are getting higher than ever.
The Viking He-man is still really cool. The shield mimics the sticker on the vintage Dragon Walker Veichle. I said catsule greyskull flag. Not what I meant! Yes these figures are getting expensive and distribution Sucks all over. Even in the USA sometimes. I mportant many of them for a Mark up. Some sellers get some early in hand. Although this shield looks peculiar, but I believe is based from medieval times or Middle Ages type of shield... This shield looks OK but still it looks better with Frisbee/Captain America's round shield though.... Looking forward to see New Eternia, Battle Armor Skeletor looks like.... (Ya know, I have the feeling that if they release King Randor into New Eternia, they may made him into King Arthur like... Lol)

I wish it was easier to remove that bracer too. I was also hoping for a shiny armor like the vintage or classics. Don't know why the Both the origins and Masterverse is doing this with the Weapons, Armor and Shields. It's not terrible! But doesn't look as realistic like the art on the back. Painting one will definitely look cool👍

The Masterverse and new eternia line is was really a great idea to help bring core characters or reimagine them with a new look in an alternate universe or with a new back story. That's really cool you like collecting dolls and now interested in other figures like your son. Many people really like the Masters of the univese lines. So many figures to explore! Mine did not come with the right arm brace for the shield. Mattel probably knew it was ridiculous.
Sounds like a QC issue. But Yeah it's kind of a waist. The Shield should of just had a handle or a piece it could snap into like the back holder and put on the waist so it wasn't so awkward.

Nice figure! I wish they had a sword holder in the back instead of a hole for that shield! ha ha And yes, the left arm brace with the shield is not my favorite either! And the shield has no straps on it to hold in hand. I do like the swapping of heads and weapons. That first custom head looked the best on the Battle Armor figure. :)

It's great how easy Heads can change out. I too liked that first head on the battle armor body. Greetings again. Seeing Masterverse Battle Armor He-Man is a pleasure. He looks good in that armor and he would be good customizing material. I look forward to painting his armor and his accessories down the line ... if or when I buy him, of course. The head sculpt is adequate, at least, since he still resembles the blonde muscle-head whom 80's kids know and love. I'm mostly concerned about whether or not I'll be able to paint blue shorts on his legs without too many problems since I don't want to have to take the figure apart too much to get the job done.
Hello again! Thanks for Stopping in to Check out the Review! I like the way they designed this Battle Armor He-man for the Masterverse line. The Head sculpt is kind of unique. You can always change different heads out that you might have available. I heard another comment about someone painting the Armor as well. It would have nice if the Armor was Shiny Metal like the vintage or classics instead of flat. But that seems to be the route the Origins and Masterverse is going with Metal looking Weapons and accessories. It might be tricky to paint those Shorts. But with skill and time you can do it. There are custom options for sure with this new He-man and Armor👍
@@Themanchlid I should be able to paint He-Man's shoulder pad with Teela's lipstick marks, at least. Sounds funny, but remember that they're official now and Teela would want to kiss He-Man good luck.

Look up Action figure dioramas backgrounds on Ebay or Amazon. I got a few different backgrounds. That one you see in my filming is called 3d Dungen Diorama backgrounds. I got it on ebay. It was expensive. Like 75 dollars. But it big. I didn't use all the walls or cardboard accessories.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one either. It might be the beard, even though the Classics King He-Man figure always looked cool. This design just looks sort of “meh” to me, depending on how he’s displayed. With the bearded face, he looks like a Roman gladiator; with the more traditional clean-shaven faces, he looks like a samurai. Either way, not really digging those “looks” for He-Man. Must be the armor…just not really a fan. He-Ro and Sun-Man definitely look to be the better figures in this wave.
I personally don't mind the New look. The Masterverse is trying something a little different. I wish the Armor was it's own thing and could be removed like the Classics. The head is unique. He does look like something between a Gladiator and Samurai. The good thing is we can change out heads easy with other He-man figures out there if you don't like this head. I'm really looking forward To The Sunman and He-Ro coming out soon in this wave👍

Have you collected The Bionic Man $6 million dollar by Kenner. I love their size and Mask a Tron had 3 face masks. The dolls look amazingly like the actors. Other day I found Oscar played by Richard Anderson. Austin a fan of Lee Majors.
I watched the Show as kid but never collected any of that stuff. Many other collectors do. Some of thise figures are worth some money!

Yes it's the same ball peg. It could but work ok. But the savage He-man body has the Dirty look. So the skin color is a bit off in my light.

I can use he belt for savage HeMan
If you know how to remove the Savage He-man belt and shorts with Hot water. You would have to do the same with this figure. Then put then back in hot water. Remove the internet leg joints and pull the short and belt up when the are soft from heat and work them in to the waist. I only did it once to a He-man figure. Very tricky and easy to rip.

It would have been cool if the Battle Armor was it's own suit. But it what is! I can see a retooling of some kind Of New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor coming down the Road👍😁

Yeah Im super happy I was able to get Catra 40th single Heman and Zodak. As said before trying to hold out for She-ra and Hordak but they are going at a snails pace and this latina grows very very tired and very very hopeful they arrive soon!
But yeah I will be honest and say I heard alot of collectors say they were good on He-ro but not me Im getting him!
Pretty sure it wont be long before pms gets him in and probably restock on more BAH and others.

@@jigsawnora3207 it's cool a place like the Paulmart store gets some of this stuff early. It's the only place That Had Catra, Zodac, the 40th anniversary He-man and all the other new Eternia Figures we got. Ebay still dosent have them aside the Paulmart Seller has some up. Lol. The She-ra and Hordak had a different distribution Route to Malaysia first. So it takes time for Those Deluxe figures to come to the USA. Very Frustrating over toys. Yeah a New Battle Armor Skeletor will be cool looking. More Stuff is coming! I also heard mix of comments on Hero and Sun man. They are definitely for me too! Glad you liked the review and this new He-man. I will keep an out when the PM stores gets more. Yeah I always feel like kid with this stuff😄👍

I do have to go back and get some of the ones I didn't pick up like Spikor and Faker and Teelas dad M-A-A. I wasn't going to get them all when I first started collecting but I changed my mind! Yeah New eternia and princess of power figures really do stand out from some of the first released figures we got . Speaking of Sun man I cant wait to get that Pig head next year. I think Mastervers scale really does the rulers of the sun figures justice.
Because before you know it , It will be Jan 2023 and I think if I'm correct we are getting another wave as mention in sdcc panel!
Aside from the snake men coming next year my toy collection is about to boom!😁🎉🎊
@@jigsawnora3207 You can Probably find Spikor, Man at Arms and the other Online for a fair price. Yes The New Pig Head in Masterverse looks Awesome! I have feeling we will see another wave of Origins and The Masterverse figures before the end of the years from my Calculations on how these lines seem to come out. January 2023 at the Lastest. I'm assuming that pig Head and Frosta will be part of that wave 7 Masterverse. The Origins Wave one Snakemen is also set for next year. But also think earlier because of all the figures and packaging images so far done. But time will tell. Lots of Cool stuff on the Horizon with Motu👌
