I've been using Aventus since 2010. It was 120ml and amazing. Set the bar in masculine niche fragrances. Then after 2017, they made the bottle smaller, kept the same price and weakened it. It barely lasts 6 to 8 hours whereas before, it used to last 12 plus. Atleast on my skin. The issue is the reformulation, less product and same price. To me, it is feels like a money grab and for $450, that is unacceptable marketing/business decision to the consumer.
Just purchased my first Creed Aventus 3.3 oz. “F” batch. I took all of what you covered in the video into consideration before purchasing and none of it swayed my decision. However, each and every single time I’ve worn it I’ve gotten multiple compliments many hours into my day. Yesterday I had a 12 hour work shift So i decided to just use 5 sprays on my skin and 10 hours into my shift two of my lady coworkers said i smelled amazing each time i walked by. It’s still the #1 selling niche Fragrance in the world in 2022. I ran out of my old 2018 bottle last year, which was my 4th bottle and got the new one last year. Bond is too synthetic every one of their fragrance has that alcohol smell on initial spray it’s like low quality (to me) Creed has that natural smell not too loud, no alcoholic smell just smell natural
I just got this in the mail 2 days ago, wore it the past 2 days. I bought C.B, MBE, CDNM all before j bought Aventus. Smells just like CB imo, and MBE but with amboroxan and CDNM minus the opening for 10 mins. Save your money
I had A bottle for awhile not never really used it since i got 60 bottles and people around my area dont use neiche more designser so i can get away still using it and not smelling like everyone .
Nupe, I’ve been wearing Aventus for 8 years. I’m officially retiring this fragrance. I bought a bottle 3 months ago and it only lasts an hour on my skin or clothing. The formula has changed and there are too many alternatives.
Yap, the original formula has changed. Haven't touched my original bottle in years as it simply isn't what it was. Also, too many people smell like it, or a clone of it.
Let me CLEAR THE AIR…. 1. Most of you dudes don’t even have the look or swag to wear Creed….this house is for a gentleman, one’s who’s not in a rush, one who don’t mind his fragrances sitting and maturing for a while. He’s not trying to have the strongest smelling cologne in the room because he’s confident and know he already owns the room 2. you have to PAY to PLAY…If you can’t afford it then say that but don’t hate on something you can’t afford 3. I have Bond no9, Tom Ford, PDM and others and those houses are great but Creed doesn’t have that alcohol/synthetic smell…..I truly believe this is quality ingredients
I'm in 🇺🇸 . I can't speak for other countries in the world. But here, were feeling alot of scarcity. Fragrances may not be one of the items to be stockpiling right now?
I like it but the problem is that I either go nose blind to it quickly or it doesn’t last that long. Either way I don’t enjoy it for that long especially when I consider that fact that I can get a middle eastern fragrance for under $50 that outperforms it.
I have the 120ml and 100mi and I interchange using them and I noticed when ever I switch using one it’s smell better and last longer and the colour also darkens. I have club de nuit intense which is stronger than creed, and i get a lot of compliments but I still prefer creed
My colleagues from 2nd floor was noticing my arrival to the office with this fragrance, good old times. I don't understand how can a regulation/reformulation knocks down this beast. I think they've lost the original recipe.
Bought my first bottle recently and my girl loves it on me. I think the price is why it's not jumping off the shelves any more. The economy is getting wonky
Just sold by 2019 batch two weeks ago. Beautiful fragrance but for me there was no enjoyment after like 20 min. I get noseblind to this fragrance really fast, same goes for Elysium. Something about all those natural ingredients doesn't work with my nose. Asked friends about my fragrance, somehow no one really noticed it, projection seems on the lighter side. All in all not worth keeping for me, if I can't enjoy the fragrance myself.
I'm on my second bottle of Creed Aventus in a span of 4 months!! I've never went thru two bottles of any type of cologne in that time span. It still reigns SUPREME!! You can wear it any season. And I get many compliments from this...especially from the ladies.
Wait a min…. 100mL is roughly 1400 sprays /4 = 350 sprays a month / 25 days a month = 14 sprays per use. Is that how you’re spraying it?? 14 sprays per use? ….And wearing it 6 days a week ?
I haven't worn it in months. I too have been going to Hacivat, just to change it up when I'm looking for that DNA. After watching this, I pulled the Creed out, took a healthy sniff and was immediately reminded why I've gone through so many bottles. If it's not King now, people just forgot. It's the ultimate in duality. Opening, dry down, 6 hours in, doesn't matter....still reigns supreme.
hacivat sucks though, may as well just sprinkle pepper on your clothes and it would smell the same. The fragrance is seriously ruined by all the pepper they add in it. And there's way better alternatives to hacivat like intense cedrat boise & electimuss imperium
Absolutely! The point of it all is Aventus is my favorite smell. If the price was only $100 or less I would probably still buy it knowing it might not last long. Hacivat only cost me $120 so my expectations are lower and my satisfaction is higher…
Aventus may have been cloned but can never be dethroned. It will always be remembered as one of the most complimented fragrances. Hats off to the legendary perfumer Olivier Creed. 🫡
You have to think also, there’s so many GREAT clones and dupes now compared to 5 years ago. The clones now are absolutely niche quality, so the relevancy of the original product isn’t as high anymore.
I have that and it’s far too woody/smokey not bad per se but not on the same level as the real deal. The drydown it has is better but at first it’s to much
I've never bought it because there's no justification for it being so expensive. There are other heritage niche perfumers, Floris for example and none of their frags sell for anything over $310.0 for a 100 ml bottle. Most of them are around the $120.00 to $180.00 price point. I can guarantee that the fragrance oils they use are equal to or better than Creed.
I think it's a combination of global inflation/recession and the fact that people are now (maybe for the first time) doing the cost-benefit analysis, and realizing that there are a lot of great clones for 1/10th the price
Aventus is still good but when you can get almost the same thing with Montblanc Explorer and Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man somehow Creed is not mentioned that much anymore. I see the Montblanc in videos all the time
I agree, I purchased both Monte Blanc & Club De Nuit & I love the scent profile. I haven’t actually smelled Creed as of yet but I get major compliments when I wear Montessori Blanc Explorer 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I use Club de Nuit Intense.... Creed is too expensive for me. I don't care what people think about that. The price is literally the only reason I didn't go with the original, and I don't buy a lot of clone fragrances at all.
Yes, Loewe Escencia EDP is the Spanish Creed Aventus that many people don't talk about. It is the best smelling Creed Aventus alternative for the price. My mom's friend loved the way it smelled so much on me that she asked what I was wearing, and now wants to buy it for her husband.
Another thing about Creed... there are waaaay to many variables from batch to batch. There's a lack of consistency for the price that brand is asking for, according to the opinions of countless others across TH-cam and other social platforms. This clone I've been using, however, seems to smell the same on my skin everytime, while retaining the same compliment factor.
I just received my 5th bottle of Aventus with the new metal black top. I fell madly in love with the fragrance in 2018, after a 2 year search for “the” fragrance, and then I purchased a bottle in 2021 and 2 in 2022. Every bottle smells slightly different, which was okay until this year. I had to return one recently that smelled more like grapefruits, and then this newest one is very mossy/musky and is missing the juicy sweet citrus I love, once it settles. It is a very frustrating experience when I can not count on what a 400$ of fragrance will smell like before I buy it. Yes even a bad bottle of Aventus is better than most things out there, but this one doesn’t have why I fell in love with it to begin with. So sad.😢
A lot of the Aventus bottles sit for sale because of the batch hype BS. The only bad batch I came across was the most recent So Post sample. I think it was an H batch. It smelled really good, but it lasted maybe an hour. And zero birch to my nose.
Agree with you. I bought it last year but it just don’t last. I cannot smell it after 1 hour. If I am paying so much for a perfume I expect it to last at least 6 hour. I won’t be buying one again.
There’s also the scandal that got more known because of the book, ghost perfumer, where the history, perfumer and known/celebrity people that said has worn the fragrance is a sham. The fragrance is still good, scent of acentus is revolutionary at that time but since the book release, youtube influencers shy away or limit their reviews on creed fragrances, even the new release like wild flower and new spring flower is non existent on bigger youtubers
I've sold all my aventus clones and i'm done with that dna now, i've tried enough clones i'm bored of it now. I really liked vivamor and intense cedrat boise though but sold those too because I needed money don't think i'll buy them again though
I've got Aventus, but the hands-down best fragrance I've ever worn, was an oil I purchased in Cairo Egypt. People used to offer to buy it from me. I could have made a fortune if I had bought enough to sell
I only got another bottle last year just because of nostalgia and respect for the fragrance as it was my first niche… but if im honest…hacivat and kajal lamar has replaced aventus in my rotation of sig. scents
People don't know 2013 and earlier Aventus was pure smoke...almost unwearable. I have a 2012 bottle. Since then, it was reformulated to be less smokey and luckily, it got even more popular and successful despite early reformulation.
I know the question is not for me, but i have both those fragrances and love them almost equally. But if i were forced to pick only one, i would go for Beach Hut.
40 knots a dawg too don’t get it twisted .. past the 6 hour mark I’m getting reactions I’ve never seen before people wanna know what I have on instantly…. It’s so unique & beast , beach hut man is really good too though… so why not both 😂
Same problem with Roja dove elysium for the price I need performance just maybe creed needs to do a intense version like Roja dove just did with elysium maybe it can come back to king
It’s one of the best, I had the same batch you have, but they’ve killed it by reformulating and making it weaker and charging people more. It’s had a great run but now you have Hacivat, Jet Black Intense, Supernova, Club de nuit intense, Cedrat Boise and all the others that are cheaper, smell better, last longer
Cedrat Boisé has nothing to do with Aventus smell wise although it's great ... and CDNI smells chemical and disgusting and has NNNNOOOOTHIIINNGGG to do with the original Aventus

@@MansaMusa-v5q I feel you

Aventus layered with baccarat 540. Nuff said
I just got this in the mail 2 days ago, wore it the past 2 days. I bought C.B, MBE, CDNM all before j bought Aventus. Smells just like CB imo, and MBE but with amboroxan and CDNM minus the opening for 10 mins. Save your money
Great video! It may be the end, but the king will live on! When will your fragrance ship waiting on my shipment 😂
Still a fantastic fragrance. I have two different batch numbers. I wear them all the time and they last all day for me.
@geoffrey8221 Yes clones are great 😊 and affordable
Which perfumes as an alternate of creed ???

Let me CLEAR THE AIR….
1. Most of you dudes don’t even have the look or swag to wear Creed….this house is for a gentleman, one’s who’s not in a rush, one who don’t mind his fragrances sitting and maturing for a while. He’s not trying to have the strongest smelling cologne in the room because he’s confident and know he already owns the room
2. you have to PAY to PLAY…If you can’t afford it then say that but don’t hate on something you can’t afford
3. I have Bond no9, Tom Ford, PDM and others and those houses are great but Creed doesn’t have that alcohol/synthetic smell…..I truly believe this is quality ingredients
The amount of copium in this is crazy
I saw an article on google that they fixed creed, now it last at least the whole 8 hours, which batch do you have?
Great points
I have the 120ml and 100mi and I interchange using them and I noticed when ever I switch using one it’s smell better and last longer and the colour also darkens. I have club de nuit intense which is stronger than creed, and i get a lot of compliments but I still prefer creed
My colleagues from 2nd floor was noticing my arrival to the office with this fragrance, good old times. I don't understand how can a regulation/reformulation knocks down this beast.
I think they've lost the original recipe.
Bowtie what's going on with SANTA LUCIA cologne bundles? They not sending costumers there product. You vouching for them right???
How many sprays do you use??
Wait a min…. 100mL is roughly 1400 sprays /4 = 350 sprays a month / 25 days a month = 14 sprays per use.
Is that how you’re spraying it?? 14 sprays per use? ….And wearing it 6 days a week ?
This can't be real
Cap
If you never had the original formulation you have no idea how good it was. Now it's trash
17n01 is my all time favorite 😍. It's what Aventus should be 💪😎💯🍍
My bottle OF AVENTUS is from 2012 or 2013 and I have to be honest ROYAL OUD IS MY FAVORITE
@@shawnwinters1178 hacivat still ridiculously overpriced too though.
Aventus may have been cloned but can never be dethroned.
It will always be remembered as one of the most complimented fragrances.
Hats off to the legendary perfumer Olivier Creed. 🫡
Aventus was made by Jean Cristoph Herault
That was awkward 😂
What would be the new king??
Never!!!! Aventus will always reign supreme!!!! 😎💯
Creed Aventis is the king and I got 1 bottle of original and 2 clones ❤🔥💯👍
You have to think also, there’s so many GREAT clones and dupes now compared to 5 years ago. The clones now are absolutely niche quality, so the relevancy of the original product isn’t as high anymore.
I agree with a previous comment. The clones are amazing. Especially Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Limited Edition.
That fragrance is Creed's kryptonite😅
Agree
I have that and it’s far too woody/smokey not bad per se but not on the same level as the real deal. The drydown it has is better but at first it’s to much
Nothing beat the original….yes clones can make improvements on the original but I will always support the original
Brother BowTie; I noticed that you don’t mention CREED ORIGINAL VETIVER! What are your thoughts on this one?
I been using viking lately it's so strong
Hey bro much respect. If you got Gucci pour homme 2 please do a review. That fragrance is a masterpiece.
If creed aventus get dethroned, what fragrance will the next king and for how long.
I have over 24 fragrances of Creed. I enjoyed them very much. My wife has 5 and counting.
I prefer Nishane Hacivat personally to Creed Aventus💯💯💯
Hacivat gang
Preach I'll take Hacivat over Aventus
Yes sir 👍🏾
noo smell like orange powder in hot weather 😂😂
The only compliment I have received from this one was from my mother in law. I think she said it to be nice
I think it's a combination of global inflation/recession and the fact that people are now (maybe for the first time) doing the cost-benefit analysis, and realizing that there are a lot of great clones for 1/10th the price
Clones are good with companies try to water down and inflate but must always respect the original house who created it
Aventus is still good but when you can get almost the same thing with Montblanc Explorer and Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man somehow Creed is not mentioned that much anymore.
You see these houses in videos because they’re PAYING TO BE advertised….I don’t creed need any TH-camr to promote their fragrance at this point
Yo bow tie, any idea what’s up with Bon Vivant? I ordered it day 1 and a month later it still hasn’t arrived.
You know what’s up?
I use Club de Nuit Intense.... Creed is too expensive for me. I don't care what people think about that. The price is literally the only reason I didn't go with the original, and I don't buy a lot of clone fragrances at all.
Try the real thing at one point
Naw let him keep wearing CDNI. Long as they say what they’re wearing. Caught a few fellas lying about wearing Aventus.
@@jayb7810 i wear L'aventure to the gym, but is any of the clones like real Aventus, not really.
You have to try the real thing.
Pineapple vintage is the closest for me although still pricey
@@kishcub Aventus costs 230 euro in Europe and Pineaple around 100.
At that point i would rather go buy a real deal
Loewe Escencia EDP is incredible and way, way cheaper. But many of the clones smell amazing now, too.
So sad.😢
@@danastrongin243 precisely why I don't plan on ever buying it. They need to do something about their quality control.
A lot of the Aventus bottles sit for sale because of the batch hype BS. The only bad batch I came across was the most recent So Post sample. I think it was an H batch. It smelled really good, but it lasted maybe an hour. And zero birch to my nose.
Can you talk more about what it actually smells like.
Agree with you. I bought it last year but it just don’t last. I cannot smell it after 1 hour. If I am paying so much for a perfume I expect it to last at least 6 hour. I won’t be buying one again.
Any update
100% because they have cut costs, or been regulated to cut something that it first was. Creed is best bought on the gray market.
Thoughts on ATH Supernova?
Can you tell me what facebook groups these are? I would be 1000% interested in trying one of these holy grail batches
What is the name of the background beat when you’re talking please?
I thought f were going to talk about LV ombre nomade and MFK oud silk mood
There’s also the scandal that got more known because of the book, ghost perfumer, where the history, perfumer and known/celebrity people that said has worn the fragrance is a sham. The fragrance is still good, scent of acentus is revolutionary at that time but since the book release, youtube influencers shy away or limit their reviews on creed fragrances, even the new release like wild flower and new spring flower is non existent on bigger youtubers
I bought travel size sample of Aventus from microperfumes did not smell, like the batch that I got years ago from perfumecpurt, which was to die for
I've sold all my aventus clones and i'm done with that dna now, i've tried enough clones i'm bored of it now. I really liked vivamor and intense cedrat boise though but sold those too because I needed money don't think i'll buy them again though
LV is running rampant in the groups. That and supernova
Supernova by ATH ?
LV which ones?
@Black Max pacific chill mostly.
All the freshies really.
@@taffygore6285 yep. Every other post is about it
I love Creed, but i have to admit i get more compliments when i wear Pineapple vintage intense.
I've got Aventus, but the hands-down best fragrance I've ever worn, was an oil I purchased in Cairo Egypt. People used to offer to buy it from me. I could have made a fortune if I had bought enough to sell
What's the name of it?
@@jameslane2402 I'm sad to say, I haven't the slightest idea. I was shown a few, and based solely on how it smelled, I chose a roller bottle of it.
I bought a big bottle of Aventus a few months ago and I'm good
I only got another bottle last year just because of nostalgia and respect for the fragrance as it was my first niche… but if im honest…hacivat and kajal lamar has replaced aventus in my rotation of sig. scents
It's about over. Everyone rocks it now. It's still a BANGER but I prefer the sleeper Himalaya now.
What is the next in line? The new or upcoming King?
I own multiple bottles and love the new batches
People don't know 2013 and earlier Aventus was pure smoke...almost unwearable. I have a 2012 bottle. Since then, it was reformulated to be less smokey and luckily, it got even more popular and successful despite early reformulation.
Funny thing is I still get the smoky moss smell out of mines but it comes and goes
At one point I had 32 bottles of Aventus. Cut back and I’m down to 9 bottles and 3 500ml flacons.
You either sell coke or you’re lying your ass off. Either way who the hell needs 32 bottles of the same fragrance?
Great video bro hey I have a question for you if you had to choose between beach hut man and 40 knots which one you going with?
I know the question is not for me, but i have both those fragrances and love them almost equally. But if i were forced to pick only one, i would go for Beach Hut.
@@miguelmoreno6263 thanks bro I appreciate that
40 knots a dawg too don’t get it twisted .. past the 6 hour mark I’m getting reactions I’ve never seen before people wanna know what I have on instantly…. It’s so unique & beast , beach hut man is really good too though… so why not both 😂
Yep the price went up and the longevity went down 😮
Smells, great. i have it, but it's not worth the price tag. I'm probably getting av cologne after i finish it up.
Hands down my best perfume of all time, especially 2010 - 2016 batches.
By the way if someone is interested I have a BNIB 120 ml 16A21 for sale
The only one that I ever loved out of Creed's portfolio of fragrances is Millesime Imperial and THAT is the only one I have ever purchased.
If you spray it on at the store counter it'll be worn off by the time you leave the store.
Had it since 2014 and just stop wearing it in 17 it just became 2 common to me
Same problem with Roja dove elysium for the price I need performance just maybe creed needs to do a intense version like Roja dove just did with elysium maybe it can come back to king
elysisum intense the answer
Creed will always be king!
People get greedy, then this happens. You reap what you sow. It’s good the consumer pushes back against scalping/inflation
Hi Darien. Long time fan. Will you consider reviewing Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 fragrances??? Thanks
Best fragrance in the universe ✨️
Ive never had Adventus. There’s no need when you can get Armaf club de Nuit special edition.
