I love Johnny’s attitude about doing it for fun. I find competitions far too intense. I just want to go out in the fresh air and try to hit some clays. Nothing more.
Keeping it fun is the key, I’ve had a go in a few competitions this year just to get to shoot grounds and disciplines I never normally would, just been roped into the world skeet masters shot 167 and totally enjoyed it but sporting is my passion. I’m not ready to put a weird toe pad on my foot anytime soon 😂😂😂💥💥 great vid guys 👍👍👍
I definitely have the same attitude about competition. I shoot the periodic match in rifles (mostly black powder), but mostly as an excuse to go shoot something different or with others. I get almost no joy out of competing per se, but great joy out of the experience of nice locations and making things go "bang."
Lovely shoot with Josh. I feel better in the knowledge that I too shoot 7.5, 28-gram loads. I would say the cost difference is that I do a lot of reloading using Peters Blue-Magic hulls.
Hey mate!! Love the channel and love the vids. I'm an avid target shooter in Toronto. The British and Canadian and U.S Troops used to train their air gunners to shoot by having them shoot clays from the back of a moving flatbed truck! I'd LOVE to see you and some of your mates attempt to do this. It would be an amazing video! You could even ask and I'm sure receive help from the British Military. That would be awesome!! Keep up the fantastic work!
Jonny you need to to be challenging Lloyd again the gauntlet was well slapped at your face on his channel , he loves Sasha though , says he has more talent 🤣. That Coleys is a lovely ground ❤️.
That was quite enjoyable. Maybe you should consider having more guests on the chanel. Its refreshingh to have Ians viewpoint. Its suprising that hes not as analytical as other shots.
I’m with you Johnny, ( although you clearly have more talent than I). I like to go out and break some clays, but not be competitive. As they say . “ when the fun stops, Stop! “
I hadn’t shot coleys at since before covid until two weeks ago it’s very different from other grounds in the south shooting in the trees with a narrower window to shoot targets. The targets are different the only thing there missing is a cafe it’s a ground i’ll be visiting more variety is the spice of life as they say different is good.
Hi Dave - building works are currently underway and we'll have a cafe on site next year. In the meantime we usually have hot food available on Fridays, Saturdays and competition days :)
Johnny, Nice video again. Is everyone in the UK having trouble finding shotshells like we are in the USA and are they almost double in price from a couple of years ago as they are here ? Keep up the good work and slainte, JZ
They are about 25% more expensive than in 2019 (as is more or less everything unfortunately) Availability has been ok, the U.K. cartridge manufacturers have been great in serving the market here for sure.
Great video chaps! ..... 99K subscribers come on guys get subscribed if you aren't already and let's get a quality British shooting channel to 100K subscribers, I think it may be a first!
Johnny was absolutely right when he said that there is nothing to win in competition clay shooting in the uk. A class win doesn’t even cover the cost of the entry. It’s embarrassing
Hi John ….. not sure if there’s a scam & you have been hacked in some way but I have just received a message linked to this post from the Cotswold Clay Club saying that I have won a free prize and to text a number that they gave me to claim my prize

The last time I went to Coley's, it cost me a fortune. A great ground, good staff and EXCELLENT salesmen! 😂🤣

Hello TGS, that looks like a awesome shooting ground..
"turn on the fun muscle" means something different over here in Yankee land :D

My local club. Great to see you visited 👏 it is a genuinely fantastic place.
Nice to see my local on the channel ! Keep the great vids coming
Another great production, TGS ... really enjoyable to watch and listen to the different attitudes towards why the boys shoot.

Interesting comment about putting the ShotKam on his gun to see if he was doing what he thought he was doing.
I live 20 mins from here. Still never shot it. Tempted to give it a go soon.
Look forward to seeing you soon :)
Are there any grounds like this in Kent or Sussex? The ones I’ve found seem small by comparison - maybe except west Kent shooting school 🤷

Hey Johnny is your gun a Longthorne? Custom made? Great Vid!

Hey John, What Gun was Josh using?
A Perazzi

Could you just confirm whether this is legitimate or not please 👍
Great shooting ground, pay and play no nonsense, remember to take your certificate
21 gr 12 ga test
Josh - spiritless soulless ….go along get along , liar through silence
Their air gun range is/was rubbish. (Think it’s now closed)
Our air gun range is closed. Sadly people misused the facilities and we had to shut it, which was a shame. Have you shot our clay layout?
@@iancoleysportingltd.1187, no but hope to take lessons, someday. #savinguptheloot
