When you have a sick tree get it diagnosed by a Certified Arborist, and then apply Hydrogen Peroxide at the base of the tree for 14 days, and then 1-2 times thereafter during the growing season. This will get more oxygen into your tree to help it heal itself. Thank you Michael. What percent of hydrogen peroxide should be used?
1% - 2%, so dilute 3% down 1:1 with water (or 6% down 1:3 with water or 12% down 1:7 with water).

will it work on the bark to prevent fungus? I have an apple tree that has spots where the bark has gone black and is cracking and peeling off, i've heard of copper sprays
My wife has been on Hospice for 3 years and I did not know to respond to you. I just found out on 6-9-23. You need to make a slurry of H2O2 + 1-2 tbsp of Lemon dish of 20 Mule team Borax in a qt. of H2O2 and paint in on the cracks. then wrap burlap around the crack trunk. You have sun scald damage and you must protect the bark.
Can we use this method on the sick redwood trees?
Did anyone hear if you mix the peroxide with water? I didn't hear that part and I don't want to burn my trees by putting it on full strength
