We interviewed Tiffany the owner to get all the details and history. Took our Winnebago Travato to camp in next door to the general store. We live 20 miles from Rugby in Clarkrange TN. We moved here from Tampa Florida and have never looked back. We work remotely and living here is amazing. If you can, get out of the city life because you will never regret it. Thank you for the video!

I used to love stopping at these old country stores on long trips with my parents as a kid. I'd look to see what soda machine they had out front. The smell and feel of the well worn wooden floor under your feet. They all seemed to have something a little different than the last.
Loved this segment. What a great interview and video. Nice to see places that are not national chains serving their communities. There something very special about home town community center like this one. They are fading fast in many parts, so it is great that you are doing your part to document them. Oh my gosh, what a most wonderful video. Your presentation was over the top, the music, the scenery, Miss Tiffany. I am sitting here on a Saturday afternoon with tears rolling down my cheeks. It just reminded me of my hometown, Clover, VA. That store looked like the few we had back home. I can sit here and picture them in my mind. So thankful that at 74 I can still feel love in my heart for the old ways. Again, great video.

I Love this place. I have been watching this lady and this store for several months on a you tube channel that explores all the old store of Appalachia.
Hoop cheese is a mild cheddar cheese with an outside red wax ring around the edge to keep it fresh. They are in a large round wheel # disc. My pawpaw sold it in his store .Lol

Biscuits are easy two ingredients 13 biscuits can be made with 2 cups of self risings/ rasing flour and 1,1/2 cup of heavy whopping cream 400 degrees 10 to 12 minutes,or until they look Ishtar brown easy easy to make biscuits thanks , what are church of Christ !,,

I really enjoyed the old store and her stories. I have an old store and post office was inside it just across the road from me. The old place is just falling in. That one reminds me of it. When I was a child it was a nice General store and I walked across and got our mail. My dad was the mail carrier. Enjoyed ur vlog. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Thank you guys , lovely video.... Ive neen watching the store on the Appalachian channel for a couple of yrs , now found you guys ..... We are actually going to head here from south east Ireland this summer and cant wait. We will be based in PA ....im Irish and my wife if from PA ,but i will drive us from PA down ro SC to visit some of my wife's family ....for a few days ....then ill drive us over to Rugby TN ..... Ive fiund something is drawing me to the place ,i really want to meet Ralph who iwned a store in muddy pond ....but he has just passed away ,but i will go to the cemetery and pay my respects.
Thats one purty store,, i love the old stuff. I cant stand much of anything new. I like the old motels that you can park right in front of the door,,,,and are one story,,,them dang high rise motels, you get some Water Buffalo's making Love above you and i cant sleep a wink,,,and them dang doors bang everytime it opens or closes. How about making doors that dont slam in motels ???? I should have been born in 1850,,,,,,,Merry Christmas to ALL

We were there this morning. What a great place, you go back in time. Didn’t get to meet Tiffany, she was not there today, but the girls were very friendly and welcoming. What a fun place. We both had the famous Tiffany fried bologna sandwich, was great.
We are headed to Rugby from Mississippi next week for our first visit. Can’t wait to check it out. We will be staying in the RV Park behind the store!
I've been all over the U.S. and its teratories and I have never met anyone with my fathers name R.M. He was born and raised in Polk county TN in Turtletown. The initals do not represent any name and his legal name was R.M. First time for seeing his name anywhere.
