I met Robbin at a rock club in 1994. He walked up to me and introduced himself and of course I knew right away who he was. He took my hand kissed it and said you're beautiful what's your name? I just remember he was a beautiful man, a gentleman, easy going and easy to talk to. I told him my favorite album was Dancing Undercover. He said that was the one album he didn't like. Then I said, but you wrote one of my favorite songs on that album, Drive Me Crazy. He looked down at me and said, you're right that was a great album. LOL.
You're so lucky. I'm jealous. 😭 He's my favourite member of Ratt, and I was only 6 years old when he died. 😓 I want to invent a time machine so I could live in 80s. He was so gorgeous man. 😍💔
Cool vid and I think that's Masa Ito in the beginning w/the glasses and around the 4:00 mark w/the glasses and blue jacket. For those that don't know he was and might still be the biggest hard rock & metal columnist/writter dude in Japan. R.I.P. Robbin 'King' Crosby.
You could say that they were at their peak around this time, while Bon Jovi was starting to rise. When I saw Ratt, the attendance was not that good, IMO. I guess that they were startng to fade while Bon Jovi had shot to the top. They were at Hampton in May 1987 and it was SOLD OUT. Cinderella opened for them, then.
Somewhere in Japan......a 30 year old is going through some old boxes in his/her storage area, and a picture of his/her mom being sneak attacked by Bobby causes some uneasy questions at the sushi bar.....
Masa Ito mentions here about Stephen falling down as he first appeared on stage on the first day. It was at Budokan. I was there. Audience went wild when he fell & went rolling across the stage.
Nice footage. Robbin soooo freaking adorable and what a stunning man he was, as much as I dislike Bobby I think he acted super nice to the girls, Stephen, what a jerk, he can’t salute the girls the proper way but he had to go over Juan’s shoulder to barely handshake with one of the girls and then he signs her poster almost on the air, you can tell who was originally nice and who was just doing the job. Juan always a class act (not to mention how cute he was)
Yesterday was my 32nd anniversary of encountering Ratt. I'd like to thank you and others for comments. As I mentioned in the description of this video, Stephen invited me as one of +3 guests of the very dedicated educated fan of Stephen's. He even gave two of us T-shirt which I never expected. My original meeting with Stephen lasted may be about two minutes but it was because less than ten minutes until the Budokan show started. Yeah, Juan looks cheerful and welcoming but we were told by staff that Juan was the one who did not want to meet us. Sorry it's true. It was such a shock to me. Although I started as a die-hard fan of Warren's but now I'm not. He deliverately did not shake hands with me in 2007 while he did with other poser fans. I don't give a flying f@ck about meeting him any longer. If Warren put more importance on twin guitar solos just like Round & Round, The Morning After etc. rather than showing off his tastes , Robbin would have been around even now because he did not need to be depressed to take drugs. He was taken out of the spot lights. Who would't be depressed? At the time this encounter was recorded, I was a die-hard fan of Warren's but I pleaded Robbin that I wanted to listen to more twin guitar solos. That's why he gave me a kiss on the cheek. I believe I was rude to ask Stephen at the backstage of Yokohama show in 2007 for asking why the band made Robbin be like a side guitarist, not lead guitarist. He said I don't know, I don't know..... I almost started crying big time and he said to stop. He said he felt that Robbin was besides him at the show. ''Time Slips Away'' on his solo album is about Robbin, he said. When I listened to that song after it was released, I f@cking cried.. The song definitely expresses his true feelings toward Robbin. Since I could not say my appreciation to Robbin in my own words for showing up in front of fans even before TV camera wasn't started recording, I thank him every day for being kind and inspiring me to learn English. I won't forget Bobby's kindness which also inspired me. Bobby deserves a 2nd chance to get back to Ratt. Robbin mentioned in an interview that his choice of drummer after fired from Ratt was Bobby. His dynamic sound is one of the favorite drummers of all time. Even as a die-hard fan of Bobby's, I had lots of laughs at article on Metal Sludge. lol Anyway please give him mercy and get him back to Ratt.

I saw Ratt in '84 here in Seattle ... I was impressed. But I was already an accomplished guitarist by that time. I doubt that I would have been deeply moved by meeting them. Now I saw Queen (Seattle) in '80 and got to spend time with Brian May after the show... Now THAT felt quite overwhelming.
This is a segment of TV program called, Music Tomato World. Japanese metalheads call this music critic, Seisoku-san, but as musicians worldwide call him, Masa Ito. Robin was a great guitarist and musician BUT he was an even better PERSON. Classy all the way to the end . Rip king you’re deeply missed big fella

Robbin, god bless him. He’s in a higher place now. Talented absolutely.

The Japanese people are so kind they buy presents for their rock stars
True..Its the culture, they actually revere the rock starts as Godlike. Crazy.
I saw Ratt in June 1987 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. Poison opened.

He was a 06' 06" giant. In Japan. They are all like 5' 01". Robbin said + " I stuck out like a Sore Thumb....LOL. 1980S. :-)
Robbin was like a gentleman when he kissed the girl and then Bobby Blotzer is trying to eat her face. Lol.
I know Bobby was being kimdof creepy
Well he's a prick, so. Biggest asshole in the band.....and not that great of a drummer.
Thats a drummer brain for ya. Creepy.
But then he hugged her wiped her tears and cheered her on.
No, he wasn't 😠😠

"Mom, is that my real father?" LOL!!! 😄
Somewhere there's a 6'2" Japanese person thats 33 yrs old
Ms.Tawny Kitaen sadly passed away on May 07, 2021. Robbin & Tawny together forever. Rest In Peace

I was there around 7th row on the arena.
It looked cool he rolled and stood up like a volley ball player and did not think he fell.
Of all the Ratt boys Robbin is easily the most affable...a shame Ratt descended so quickly, so much potential in the early days.
Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing 🤟😎😀
Awww Robbin is such a sweetheart
Wow, there's a lot of moisture in that room!
Awww, Robbin, what a cutie. 😭💔 I want to kiss him too.
