- It's something a lot of people do every day. Grab a cup of takeout coffee. Two of the biggest names in the coffee game say they've got programs in place to recycle those cups. Erica Johnson tested them out.

Disappointed? I'm fuckin pissed!
I wish we could be more realistic. Recycling paper products that is lined like coffee cups and milk cartons and maybe even more so paper that has to be chemically de-inked -- is worse than putting it a landfill. There's this knee jerk reaction that everything has to be recycled now -- to hell with how much it costs in energy and waste by-products.
The sad reality is that given the option to stop consuming this way and be environmentally conscious or let it go and continue, most will choose continue.
DERP DERP I'm gonna buy my coffee in DISPOSABLE cups and then I'm gonna pretend I care about minimizing waste. Smart people, fucking smart.

isn't it obvious? How can people actually believe company gonna to volunteer clean up coffee cup? oh well guess that's why their lies works and their product can be sold, ppl are either too kind-hearted, brainwashed by promises or blind. no traditional company(99% of all companies) really cares about environment, achieving financial performance is NO.1 priority, which means even if they do clean up the coffee cup, their motivation won't be to make the environment cleaner, but rather some deals behind it that helps company to earn money. These kind of deals usually don't exist
I probably shouldn't be cynical for it, because the idea of the video is to teach small amount of kind-hearted people that the world isn't either pretty or full of companies volunteering to clear up garbage, aka coffee cup, from business perspective
