Gospel? lol I've been in and out of black churches for the last 49 years and playing in metal, hardcore and hard rock bands for the last 34. A black woman singing and a backing choir doesn't make a rock song gospel. Nice try though. You're a pretty dope vocalist though.
This video is very deep in the lore, and we’re not yet entirely sure we understand everything. Surely more information will come with Arcane 2. However, here’s how many people interpret it: The music video portrays Ambessa's near-death experience, facing Noxian Kindred (the world's Grim Reaper) and her journey through the spirit realm. Ambessa confronts four facets of her psyche: her mortal life, pain and sorrow, survival instinct, and her heart. Mortal Life: She sees visions of her life’s past, present, and potential future as she contemplates her path forward, choosing strength and leadership. Pain and Sorrow: Alone in a barren desert, she’s haunted by her struggles and forced to let go of empathy, symbolized by a lamb, as her sorrow is laid bare. Will to Live: She faces warriors representing her battles. Here, she embodies the Wolf’s fierce resolve to fight death, refusing to give in. Heart: Near death, Ambessa sees her unborn child and reignites her will to survive, fueled by love and duty. This rekindled hope compels her to fight on, prompting the Wolf to leave, as her time hasn’t yet come.
What if she made a deal to survive/become a leader and the cost was her children (born and unborn)? And that's why she was crying so hard in the video.
Or at least the entire sound track. Each song was crafted for the series and each is a masterpiece. Season 2 is taking it even higher with banger after banger. Music is power and riot is quickly becoming music gods.
The singer is Sheryl Lee Ralph. A lot of folks will remember her as Moesha's step-mom in the TV show Moesha, and from her other numerous acting roles. She absolutely killed this track. Especially because her voice is extremely similar to the voice actress for Ambessa in Arcane.
This is more of a music video for the new season of the Netflix show Arcane, which based on League of Legends, than it is a promo for a League event like the Linkin Park video was. If you haven't watched the first season of Arcane, then I recommend checking it out even if you don't play the game because the entire season is at this incredible quality of animation with a great self-contained story that you can enjoy even if you go into it knowing nothing about the lore. The character in this music video is also a character in the show, and this music video serves to flesh out some of her backstory.
There’s a TH-camr called Necrit who makes league lore videos that explain the lore: th-cam.com/video/RS0JOVqQLUI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pilt7808j0ymkk_P he has a video on this vidoe
I believe Necrit has released lore videos about the song. Just know that Ambessa is an original character to Arcane and was not in the game until recently. She's Noxian but the show doesn't clarify if she's Noxian by birth or a conquered region because they do like to take over everything. Also, she's pregnant on that battlefield. She's holding the swell of her belly before the wolf comes. Lots of people miss it!
You said in a video, that you wanted to listen more of jungkook singing live, I highly recommend you listen to If you and Im in love. He was in a show called The king of mask singer and performed this two songs.

I love how diverse League is with their music. Every cinematic or music video they swing for the fences and never miss.
I know this channel is bout music but I'd totally watch you react to Arcane!
I mean... Arcane has music to react to every single episode!
I second that
@@dragonlily29 oooo that’s fun

She's on Abbott Elementary atm.
@@the1truking Yeah her filmography is as long as a CVS receipt. Absolute legend.
Her growling through the song is insane to me. Didn't hear it until the second listen🤌🏾

I'm not into league at all, but that is absolutely gorgeous!

It's also to promote the new skin line for the game also.

React to Pentakill
Your voice sounds a little bit like Rick Dees
I bet you could have much better camera quality if you didn't torture your camera with your lighting setup. XD. Good video otherwise.
It's says Sheryl Lee Ralph in the description fool.
